looks like they could stand to purge some of the choices from the list of available payout coins for some better ones,
fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 05:07 AM UTC · #51797
42 coin took a hit today. down to $18853.20. Whats up with that coin anyway?supposed to be a collectors coin or something?
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 05:23 AM UTC · #51798
Just 42 coin ever mined ...I don’t know even do they have a white paper at all... IMHO shitcoin ...

Just my view: WARNING: These guys have been promoting this LTC miner for more than 1.5 years imho...I doubt they will ever ship (from the post below)

mycide · Tue Nov 28, 2017 01:10 PM UTC · #51810
EHSMINER.COM IS SCAM been up since atleast 2013 when i was researching into the KNC Titan. Do NOT BUY FROM THERE.

biscayne · Tue Nov 28, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #51814
Since last weekend release the difficulty option no longer works
biscayne · Tue Nov 28, 2017 04:08 PM UTC · #51815
will stay at backup pool until you guys fixed this
impi · Tue Nov 28, 2017 04:26 PM UTC · #51816
new batch off scrypt miners have arrived ? difficulty goes up alot

Why I can’t use static diff since the last update???
Splinter · Tue Nov 28, 2017 05:25 PM UTC · #51821
If you set any diff, miners will disconnect-connect-disconnect-connect in eternal loop...
Minermoe · Tue Nov 28, 2017 05:35 PM UTC · #51823
I can’t connect with any my miners all of a sudden. Worked
biscayne · Tue Nov 28, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #51824
Al the trouble started with the new release, move to backup pool, no support from PH
coldstone · Tue Nov 28, 2017 06:53 PM UTC · #51825
same problem with the diff here, and cant acces miners remotely, PH should fix this!
Melkie · Tue Nov 28, 2017 06:59 PM UTC · #51826
same here: no changes made to config of miner, but does not connect anymore since the last PH update
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:05 PM UTC · #51827
Yep,I agree ...something is DIFFERENT on Prohashing now ...problems with static diff ...and some other areas ...web etc
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:07 PM UTC · #51828
But I’ll stop here ...The Sokolowski’s Bros know EVERYTHING ...They will have now "optimization" engineer ...
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:07 PM UTC · #51829
FIX the BUGS first Bros...
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:12 PM UTC · #51830
all you guys obviously don’t have any experience in the software or hardware industry, releases usually mean bugs, and i’m sure there working hard to fix them, its in their interests as well as yours just give them a bit of time, hell the upgrades arn’t even finished yet from what i understand
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:18 PM UTC · #51831

djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:28 PM UTC · #51833
nope not seen that one lol, wasn’t even registerd then, i think i must have been one of the last the begining of this month, it wasn’t aimed directly at you, i just see a lot of pissing and moaning which dosn’t help the matter!!
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:37 PM UTC · #51834
The BUGs are part of the upgrade, ...but need to be addressed FIRST immediately after upgrade and bugs discovery ...like it is pretty obvious ( at least to me ) that the SCRYPT miners are DISCONNECTED at the time of COIN(s) SWITHCHING...instead of new coin assignment thay are kicked out...
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:38 PM UTC · #51835
Did you have that problem ?
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:41 PM UTC · #51837
and connecting from the uk so will have slightly higher latency than ppl in the us
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:41 PM UTC · #51838
Do you use STATIC difficulty ?
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:45 PM UTC · #51839
nope i let therir end handle it as their back end should work out ideal diff
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #51842
in summary ...educate, research here first ...post opinions after that...
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:55 PM UTC · #51843
and in that same vein...have you Zigen?
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:55 PM UTC · #51845
so have you run the tests with d=131K and not using a D= setting?
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #51846
NOE I am stable too ...after adding "a=scrypt" to the password field ...to direct explicitly SCRYPT miners to SCRYPT processing ...
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #51848
i dont have a= and im still fine
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #51849
as long as you are connected in now, thats all that matters.
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #51850
i don’t get an awful lot of h/w errors with an o/c unit @ 456Mhz just shy of 2000 in 44 hours currently Nonce is 0.0299% which is perfectly acceptable for a stock clocked unit
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #51852
@djliss : i hae miners running for 3 days @481Mhz with only 200 errors and like .001 nonces.
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #51853
you dont need to specify scrypt as its the default algo, even says in the help page lol
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #51854
bit of a dodgy unit i think apple, looks like it was at least 3rd hand when i got it
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #51855
yeah and thats the risk you take getting it 2nd handed
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #51856
and probably paid 2X the price too
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #51857
I know this very well ...but i MY CASE without "a=scrypt" my SCRYPT miners are kicked out in a loop ...I have D3 as well and they rock solid ...
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:01 PM UTC · #51859
oh well, i sent the cunt bricks back in the box and got a paypal refund so i ended up with it for £700 so not too fussed now
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:02 PM UTC · #51860
OC’d ...Have been like this since mid September ...no changes, except the last upgrades @ prohashing.
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:02 PM UTC · #51861
how about, turn the machine back down to stock settings and try to connect to prohashing then.
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #51862
and see if it works any different at stock settings vs OCed ones.
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #51864
Apple, I leave this excercise to you ...you have plenty to experiment ...I did my homework back in september ...
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #51865
yeah, but im not the one having any issues
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #51866
i dont need to test or experiment Im running fine.
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #51867
if you dont want to, then dont, its all for your benefit.
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:05 PM UTC · #51868
Just kidding ...Cheers, Apple c[]...
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:05 PM UTC · #51869
was just suggesting to fix your issue, if you are fine with it, then no need to mess with it.
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:05 PM UTC · #51870
was a bit naughty and i don’t normally do things like that but he stopped responding to my msgs on ebay and i knew i wouldn’t get my btc back so screw the twat lol
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:06 PM UTC · #51871
all i have in password is n= nothing else and works spot on
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:06 PM UTC · #51872
I understand, Apple ...You are one of the most helpful people here ...Thanks again...
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:07 PM UTC · #51873
if you have multiple miners and 2 accounts on prohashing, may want to test the earnings on D=131K and D= other settings or no settings at all, before you compain that static D= settings arent working. Maybe they were disabled because they prove lower profits or hashrate than the other settings?
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:07 PM UTC · #51874
also removed #xnsub a few days ago and still works fine
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:07 PM UTC · #51875
XNSUB isnt needed on this pool
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:08 PM UTC · #51876
thats for pools where you sell your hash and they get tossed to another pool from that one
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:08 PM UTC · #51877
hence why i removed it lol
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:08 PM UTC · #51878
we mine here, we dont send our power out to another pool so sub isnt needed.
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #51881
with the recent difficulty updates
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #51882
only been mining since the 12th is but learn’t a hell of a lot, also got a 5 card rig
AppleMiner · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #51884
and see if that works as a static
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #51885
I did already, Apple ...
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:10 PM UTC · #51886
It is WORKING, but lower earnings...
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #51889
earnt about £400 or more since begining of the month, started with 3 x gridseeds then got the L3+ on the 12th, and gpu rig started out as a 2 card rig and built it up slowly
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #51890
litecoinpool has thier difficulty usualy at 32k ...
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #51891
so for the small amount of hashing power i have dont think ive done too bad
ZiGen · Tue Nov 28, 2017 08:12 PM UTC · #51893
