2 days to recalculation, so hopefully it will drop back again, but its a clear pointer that scrypt will keep growing, meaning either LTC will keep increasing value or miners will soon be out of luck. My money is on LTC increasing value, we see the same thing happening on Dash to keep the rigs profitable. same history on btc since forever.
might be one fo the last chances to go big on this. some years from now halfing happens, price spikes will have to follow, new gen rigs 10 nm 7nm asics will redfine the miners playfield when they hit the market in a few years.
apple madbytecoin, i noticed a few of my pps miners hitting it and so i switched over a single 138 mh machine over, it found like 4 blocks but the found blocks section showed only one.
Hello, I’m waiting for payment on the 21st. Since the balance sheet is Payout Reddcoin, and ID is still not there. Today I have already begun 28 Tuesdays ... How long to wait?

id always advise against overclocking. the only way overclocking would be worth it is if it does not impact miner lifespan at all...which it probably will
so if by OC I cut the runtime down by a third, and go form 6 years to 2...I think at 2 years its still more than the miners will be running at a profit.

thats only true if youre selling all your rewards for USD every day. Units are still profitable, even operating at a "daily" loss, if the value of the coin appreciates in value over time
I put on support.prohashing.com. already questions, from the 22nd day. There’s no one there. Nobody is answering. I can not talk to myself there myself ...
at some point I will earn 2 LTCs a month with all my rigs, and unless the coins will sell in the future for more than $850 each, then it is better to shut them off, save the electricty and use the electric payment to buy the coins directly.

they probably will sell for more than 850 in the future, if you plan on living for 5+ more years
@r888r888 : the brothers have been away for the holiday they were setting up the new upgrades, they will jump back into the tickets today when they woke up, chris is already hard at work looking for where the payments are and why they didnt send.
Hey sub, I have a KNC titan, runs 300 hash at 1200 watts, Im sure the coins will be worth more than the electric in another 5-10 years...wanna buy my titan rigs for $4000?
why not? the price of the coins will go up in the future right? so it doesnt matter if you are using older less effiecnt machines to mine on, at a loss even
PLUS, Id rather have 20% more now when im making 200 coins a month, than to run an extra 3 months a year from now when Im only getting 20 coins a month.

overclocking it a risk - maybe its a good idea and itll pay off, maybe it wont. its basically a guess how it will affect the lifetime earnings and profitability of the equipment
all those people who sold their S series machines because they werent profitable probably are now wishing they had just kept them mining at a "loss" because now with a 10k BTC it wouldve been quite profitable if they had just held onto their rewards
antminer s9 was released more then a year ago and is still profitable today. Granted, if everything didn’t start skyrocketing, that wouldn’t be true, and we can’t expect that to continue necessarily, but we also can’t expect it to stop necessarily either, no one knows the future. But if things continue as they are going now, an L3+ could be profitable for 2 more years for all we know.
@sublimeguy : technically there’s no reason you couldn’t, but that is running a powersupply (even 800 watts normal operation) a little close to its max
80% at max is generally considered the smart move, which is why i say 1000 watts means he’s kinda already at his max, doesn’t mean he couldn’t push it, but... lol
Yup, i thought about getting a different power supply then simply what they sold, but i didn’t give it much thought as the prices they have on them for the watts they provide and the fact that i didn’t have to worry about one with not enough 6-pin cables, made it make the most sense
