My second exodus. Would really like to stay here. It’s a fantastic set up. Awesome pool when it’s running. I wish you guys could get sorted. You’d really have something here. Until then....Adios Procrashing...
ZiGen · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:49 AM UTC · #44737
I am also pulling the plug of Prohashing ...for now ...out of this mess ...NH till 17 ...and the x2 fork... good luck to all of you
fallingcurtain · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:57 AM UTC · #44738
I think after thanksgiving the site should be working better. They are going down for updates that should hopefully resolve the issues.
Lando · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:58 AM UTC · #44739
How has Prohashing been running? I have been over at Granats for a week

I tried 7 pool before came in here.. include Granat-Gas pool.. but seems Prohashing is better than another pools.. yes here is some technical issues and we losing money for every disconnect but just have to be a loyal about that.. when I left from other pool then I found myself in here again.. I agree with @fallingcurtain..
Lando · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #44745
@3Moose : Boss, I have been mining on here since August, but joined the forums only a few weeks ago.

AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 08:20 AM UTC · #44752
did you have 2FA turned on?
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 08:21 AM UTC · #44755
no reimburse and they wont investigate, 2FA is the security measure, if you bypass it, you are on your own.

Hello. I have the problem with withdraw from HITBTC. Does anyone else have this problem too?
Jakeg5280 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:23 PM UTC · #44762
same here jules. i left 4 days ago and have been getting about $23-$24 a day with one L3+ instead of $19-$21 here. id rather be here though
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:26 PM UTC · #44765
as long as you are make 5 dollars more who cares
Jakeg5280 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:27 PM UTC · #44766
i would rather be here because i really like the way this site is set up and the payout options. i think steve and chris are on the level and would rather be here then NH but only if profitable
Jakeg5280 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:28 PM UTC · #44767
$4-$5 worth of BTC last month is worth 8-9 now so being shorted kinda snowballs and i cant have my profits taken when i havent even paid for the miners
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:35 PM UTC · #44768
I like the guys but its moer like 7 a day difference with all the issues they have
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:36 PM UTC · #44769
that adds up with 4 machines
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:36 PM UTC · #44770
I was never getting 21 a day here 15 to 17 tops
Maxiimos · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:44 PM UTC · #44771
everything is running much better with the latest changes to the site
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:47 PM UTC · #44772
too late for me. Im going to stay with NH for awhile
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:47 PM UTC · #44773
I like the forum here though
Maxiimos · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:09 PM UTC · #44774
NH has too high of fees for withdrawal to me
Jules9 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:13 PM UTC · #44775
about the same as paing 5% fee here
Forum notification · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:17 PM UTC · #44776
Jakeg5280 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 01:24 PM UTC · #44777
i agree the 5% here is very high so the withdrawl fee of .0005 isnt that bad at NH if you save up a bit before takin out

X11 - configuration using AntMiner - do I need to apply any specific configuration for the miner to be recognized on Prohashing?
memomix · Wed Nov 01, 2017 03:11 PM UTC · #44780
I have Antminer D3 and using this in the password field:
Paul_sq · Wed Nov 01, 2017 03:44 PM UTC · #44782
This is soul destroying 6 months of reading 3 months of waiting and nearly 2 weeks of mining. Problem is I should have known x11 couldn’t handle the influx
Goldberg57 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #44783
Does it make sense to buy some baikal x10 giant right now??
Goldberg57 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #44784
The profitcalculator showed me that I would gain about 50 bucks per month
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #44785
yeah i feel bad for everyone who went all in on D3s and didn’t get them early enough to make a profit
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #44786
yikes, 54% efficiency right now
confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:12 PM UTC · #44788
im gladd i was only able to get two and order and thats it im happy with my l3’s
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:14 PM UTC · #44789

confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:14 PM UTC · #44790

Goldberg57 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #44795
How can I get Bitcoin cash quick, when I decided to order?
cryptogain · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #44798
Hi, I have a question, to connect 16 miners is it better to get a router with the 16 ports or a switch will work fine ?
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #44800
the switch will still be behind a router right?
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #44802
yeah shouldn’t matter then
ZiGen · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:25 PM UTC · #44804
A simple 16-24 hub is good enough...
cryptogain · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:27 PM UTC · #44805
D3 profit is really bad I feel I won’t get my money back
Paul_sq · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #44806
Is there a hope for x11 if Dash goes up in value? I don’t know how it works?
Paul_sq · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #44807
ie. if it goes up will i make something at least?
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:36 PM UTC · #44808
yeah, it would help for sure
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #44809
just a bleak outlook in general though, Bitmain is still pumping out the D3s
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #44810
just isn’t a developed enough market

if you ever have trouble running an ethernet wire use Brite-view mini turns your electric into internet and allows my 24 Ethernet switch to connect all my miners
Aura89 · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:08 PM UTC · #44813
Just so people are clear, brite-view mini does not turn your "electricity into internet". It simply uses the electrical wire within your house as a means of travel, like an ethernet Cat5/6 cable does. This can be problematic if you have an older home, but generally is a pretty good idea.
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:14 PM UTC · #44814
anyone able to give me like a quick how to on generating a SegWit address in the core wallet? I want to see how much less the fees are
confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:15 PM UTC · #44815
I have an older home and it works amazing so unless your using it for your self I wouldnt speak on it and if you have that old of house you really shouldnt be running any of these machines there period.
confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:16 PM UTC · #44816
and yes the brite-view vitrual does turn your electrical into internet it even says it on the box lol
confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:19 PM UTC · #44817
an internet connection to be more specific didn’t know I had to elaborate for you
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #44818
isnt’ it just a powerline adapter?
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #44819
i’m actually running 3 separate powerline networks in my house and never had any issues
confusedjtag · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:53 PM UTC · #44820
You right centar but wow you can use more than one?
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 06:54 PM UTC · #44821
cryptogain wrote: Hi, I have a question, to connect 16 miners is it better to get a router with the 16 ports or a switch will work fine ? Actually you will need a 24 port anything to connect 16 machines. A 16-port switch or anything will need 1 wire accessed to the internet network, that leaves 15 open channels to plug into, so if using 16, you need more...+1 for the network tap.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:20 PM UTC · #44822
i sent him an email, he will need to daisy chain a 4/8 port hub onto a 16port to be able to feed 17-21 miners.
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:28 PM UTC · #44823
AppleMiner wrote: i sent him an email, he will need to daisy chain a 4/8 port hub onto a 16port to be able to feed 17-21 miners. Yeah I think he was just asking if a switch would suffice rather than needing a router. I’m hoping he can do the math on how many ports he needs
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:39 PM UTC · #44827
been on for over 2 hours with that 600?
centar · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:39 PM UTC · #44828
what? on an L3? measured at the pool or in the miner UI?
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:40 PM UTC · #44830
The hash on the pool is representative of how many shares you have found in the past 2 hours.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:40 PM UTC · #44831
the more you find, the higher the reported hashrate
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:41 PM UTC · #44832
if your miner is crapping out, getting high rejects, lots of stales, it finds less valid shares per 2 hours, so gets a lower hashrate.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:42 PM UTC · #44833
you can actually UNDERVOLT the miners, lower the freq.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:42 PM UTC · #44834
and if it gets you more stable shares, the hashrate CAN be higher than if its at a higher frequency
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:42 PM UTC · #44835
its all in finding the max number of shares to be credited for.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 01, 2017 07:43 PM UTC · #44836
advantage to having more than 2 miners, you can test each hash board seperately and mix and match to get best combo of boards in1 unit
