So no help on how to mine a coin solo? I follow the directions and it’s not working correctly
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:11 PM UTC · #77372
I want to mine a coin solo using L3+, in the password I use d=131072 c=Linda m=solo, it’s not working properly. What am I doing wrong?
Eyedol-X · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:13 PM UTC · #77373
Are we waiting for the spectre/meltdown updates before BTG will be available?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:17 PM UTC · #77374
JustAnotherPLT wrote: I want to mine a coin solo using L3+, in the password I use d=131072 c=Linda m=solo, it’s not working properly. What am I doing wrong? from that, it looks like you’re using "c=Linda" instead of "c=Lindacoin," which is the correct name of the coin
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:18 PM UTC · #77375
Ah, makes since, thank you, I’ll change that.
ATXCRYP · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:27 PM UTC · #77376
Hello, I can’t get my account to pay me out. Everything has been working fine for a couple of months now, but as of the past few days something changed.
ATXCRYP · Sun Jan 14, 2018 04:37 PM UTC · #77377
To clarify, I have been receiving my payments in Litecoin. My threshold was set relatively low at around $20, and my balance is over 2.0 Litecoin.

it would be gereate if there is a global time offsaet funktion i thing i am +14 hour here
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:17 PM UTC · #77383

Whats the lowest difficulty? I have a moonlander 2 and it goes static with a password of d=256 or even d=384
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:42 PM UTC · #77388
then you will need another pool to use it on.
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:44 PM UTC · #77389
you can still run that here using dynamic, but it make take a few days to find a single share
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:44 PM UTC · #77390
just so you know what you are up agaisnt.
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:45 PM UTC · #77391
Ok, no problem. I’ll run the little guy somewhere else then.
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:45 PM UTC · #77392
Its just a lotto thing anyways hah
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:45 PM UTC · #77393
or check back after the upgrade to see if the difficulty lowers any
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:46 PM UTC · #77394
what do the moonlanders hash at?
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:48 PM UTC · #77397
and how much do they cost $100 each?
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:48 PM UTC · #77399
so no choices on other algos even
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:49 PM UTC · #77401
how effecinet are those vs video card rigs
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:49 PM UTC · #77402
the video cards im sure eat more electric power, but they can also be resold down the road as....video cards.
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:50 PM UTC · #77403
Its a little USB stick, for 5MH/s its pretty efficient
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:50 PM UTC · #77404
so if I bought 100 of the moonlanders...Id have 500 MH of usb power.for $6000
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:50 PM UTC · #77405
or I could get 1GH of L3+ for 6K
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:51 PM UTC · #77406
if you could tie all the moonlanders together and make 1 BIG 500 MH moonlander
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:51 PM UTC · #77407
Yeah, I wouldn’t use it for a mining rig, it’s just a fun lotto set up. I have an L3+ running, the moonlander was for fun.
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:51 PM UTC · #77408
and use difficulty up higher to find some shares it would be worthwhile
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:52 PM UTC · #77409
stop in and make a post if the moonlander ever finds anything
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:52 PM UTC · #77410
hopefully it at least pays itself off.
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Jan 14, 2018 05:53 PM UTC · #77411
Well if solo mining for LTC, it may be years, if ever. I was going to use it for Linda or something that isn’t as flooded with hashing power but I’m finding that not too many places take such low hashing power.

few minutes.... moonlander is a mini ascic miner for scrypt
pavvappav · Sun Jan 14, 2018 10:16 PM UTC · #77422
TFW you see someone solo mining Carboncoin
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 10:23 PM UTC · #77423
i think they believe if they add more power to the network they can get their transaction to go through
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 10:24 PM UTC · #77424
but i think we arent on the correct version until after the server patches are in and the coins can be updated
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 14, 2018 10:24 PM UTC · #77425
so in the mean time, with 100% orphan, all that solo work is for nothing?
pavvappav · Sun Jan 14, 2018 10:45 PM UTC · #77426
There is no block reward, and transactions are fine. The difficulty went up to 12 from .03. Someone is trying to solo mine that with at least one L3.

spauk · Sun Jan 14, 2018 11:51 PM UTC · #77430
just a couple minutes ago. it was a network diff usually around 2.5k
tomos81 · Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:06 AM UTC · #77432
hi, why my miner not accepting my static diff parameter d=8192 ? i am talking about scrypt miner
spauk · Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:07 AM UTC · #77433
minimum static difficulty is restricted to 65536 right now, leave it on dynamic and it can go down to 16384 after a few shares

Anyone selling & shipping antminers to europe?
fintech · Mon Jan 15, 2018 01:51 AM UTC · #77436

It would be nice if support tickets would be looked at. It’s been ten days with no response. It’s also been a month since prohashing started auto forfeiting my earnings. Pool operators appear to be content with not refunding stolen earnings. This is the highest % fee pool, yet has the worst support i’ve seen besides antpool
