Looks like nicehash is paying back 10% to all users that lost during hack and supposedly will pay more until everything is paid back down the road
mclarney2535 · Wed Jan 31, 2018 07:01 PM UTC · #80306
Thought I would give everyone a heads up. I still like ph a lot better

CSZiggy wrote: what do people think about BTC going under 10K in price? That’s nothing unusual - it will bottom out somewhere between $980 and $4000 for this cycle
Steve Sokolowski · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:42 PM UTC · #80313
it’s what happened the previous several cycles
tuffminer · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:47 PM UTC · #80314
thanks steve i will do that

CSZiggy wrote: what do people think about BTC going under 10K in price? I think its a little disheartening. I know i should be 'buying the dips' but im not going to lie. the FUD is slowly starting to get to me. not going to sell, but i havent been buying like i normally do. Has helped with my mining tho so thats a plus
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:53 PM UTC · #80316

NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #80317
not sure. Charlie really did a number on us, didn't he
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #80318
does anyone here feel like what he did was a positive thing to do?
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #80320

NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:55 PM UTC · #80321

Steve Sokolowski · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:55 PM UTC · #80322
our business model is good as long as LTC prices stay above $25 this cycle, which I’m confident will happen
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #80323
did he really dump at the top? I thought he missed the bigger payout he could have gotten when he dumped
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #80324
he dumped north of 300 usd. thats at the top as far as im concernced

Steve Sokolowski wrote: our business model is good as long as LTC prices stay above $25 this cycle, which I’m confident will happen yeah i doubt LTC will go that low, lol
Steve Sokolowski · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:57 PM UTC · #80327
it will make some changes to our terms of service with static coin mining
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #80328
I think if LTC hits under 90 a coin, I might be further a head to turn machine off and sell it by then.

CSZiggy wrote: I think if LTC hits under 90 a coin, I might be further a head to turn machine off and sell it by then. really? y is that?
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:00 PM UTC · #80330
wouldnt you still make the 15 dollars worth of LTC regardless of the price of LTC
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:01 PM UTC · #80332
the time it takes to get a coin, ever increasing, the number of coins made per month, and the cost of the power to make that coin
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #80333
so you are thinking if LTC prices fall by 2/3 thats you will still be making the same payout per day on a machine?
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #80334
i believe i will be making roughly the same amount of usd
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:03 PM UTC · #80335
which would be more fractions of an LTC
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:03 PM UTC · #80336
i could be wrong tho. does anyone here know how that works?
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:04 PM UTC · #80337
oh i thought you knew already
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:04 PM UTC · #80338
you sounded like you been here a while
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:05 PM UTC · #80340
im a new miner. i've only been here for a month. but i remember when LTC was like low as hell and people were talking about they were making 20-50 bucks a day and they were making like .5 LTC a day
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:05 PM UTC · #80341
hopefully we never have to find out i guess.
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #80346
I would like to buy another one soon. I hear the a3 is making big money
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #80348

CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:09 PM UTC · #80353
seems like I am trying a new pool every few days
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:10 PM UTC · #80354
usuaully takes me a day to learn how to get it to mine at the next one I want to try.
NowMortimerJames · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:10 PM UTC · #80355
which pool have u had the most success with?
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #80356
litecoinpool once i figured out how to make a worker and attach that to the username
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #80357
if they would have had step 1 2 3 4 5 i could have had it in few minutes
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #80359
some pools dont have good directions or settings and are different from 1 to the next

seems like litecoin pool has the least amount of miners attached. but pro hashing has the best options i've seen hands down
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:17 PM UTC · #80362
but I will be happy to give this place a chance for a few days and compare
CSZiggy · Wed Jan 31, 2018 09:17 PM UTC · #80363
I like to come in and read things like increased profits after a short reboot, more money to the miners!
