@AppleMiner Lol...Re: job...
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:11 PM UTC · #52137
i have my big miners on nicehash since the server issues here on PH...but i still have my smaller miners on PH...looks like they are humming now...hmm should i switch back?
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:11 PM UTC · #52138
@kake : entirely up to you m8
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:13 PM UTC · #52139
hmm...yeah i think i will...i like PH
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:15 PM UTC · #52140
i’ve had no issues but others have
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:16 PM UTC · #52141
@djliss : what miners are you planning to get in the new year?
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:16 PM UTC · #52142
I was think of getting more L3+ but by then you think it may not be profitable?
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:17 PM UTC · #52143
i quite fancy another L3+ , but still thinking about it, i might build another GPU rig
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #52144
the resale on the graphics cards will still be ok when i upgrade
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #52145
i would build my own GPU rig as well except i’m not smart enough yet to do so...i like the plug and play nature of the L3+
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #52146
the nvidia 20 series will be out next year
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:19 PM UTC · #52148
i bought 2 AMD 580 OC 8gb...looking to get the store to build my computer
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:19 PM UTC · #52149
i will likely just use it for gamining half the time and mining some ether the other half
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:19 PM UTC · #52150
then i will buy another L3+ if it is still profitable to do so
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:21 PM UTC · #52151
4 x 1070 & 1 x 1080 in a re purposed hp ml350 case lol, 1 server PSU and an ATX PSU running them draws about 1100w, same as my o/c antminer and 3 x gridseed blades, pulling about 2200w in total
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:22 PM UTC · #52152
earnings on everything is about £25 - 30 a day and lectricity is £6 a day
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:22 PM UTC · #52153
so about £20 a day avg proffit
kake · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:23 PM UTC · #52155
ok folks...time for dinner...(Canada)
djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #52156

djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #52157

djliss · Tue Nov 28, 2017 10:28 PM UTC · #52162

fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:30 PM UTC · #52164

fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:31 PM UTC · #52165
Im thinking about getting a couple S9 units. Mix it up a bit
fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:35 PM UTC · #52166
pulling back on the OC’ing. dropping to 400 as its not any profitable at 425. I like to stay at 60 degree temp max
crika1 · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:38 PM UTC · #52168
fallingcurtain wrote: wow..prohash constantly goes from dead to alive all day i am mining down under
and its been alive for me for 2.5 days now no issues
fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:39 PM UTC · #52169
hey its a mystery to me. what are you using for password settings? Ive got d=131072
fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:40 PM UTC · #52170
c=coin doesnt work or at least didnt work yesteday
fallingcurtain · Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:40 PM UTC · #52171
n=workername does that work now?
jess_1 · Wed Nov 29, 2017 12:41 AM UTC · #52173
i dont really see a point to the diff argument, they tell you that you will make less money that way too.
Aura89 · Wed Nov 29, 2017 12:52 AM UTC · #52174
@jess_1 : Supposedly if you find a sweet spot it’ll give you better profits, as well as supposedly with some weaker and older devices, it’ll give you better performance. I say supposedly, because as much as people claim this, i have never seen before and after proof that wasn’t within margin error, as well as all i see is people who put a bunch of junk into their password arguments are the ones generally asking why their device isn’t working.

Aura89 · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:01 AM UTC · #52176
@djliss : What is the point of buying 6 1070 ti’s? I can’t figure out why people are trying to GPU mine still. At best, if you found the cards for MSRP price, that’d be $2700 dollars, just for the GPUs, not counting the motherboard, ram, CPU, power supply, and anything else you have to pay for to build it. All for a (current) $370 (Ethereum) per month return?
fallingcurtain · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:06 AM UTC · #52177
I never used password argument in the past. Ive always left it blank until recently. Crika you are putting alot of stuff in your password field so dont agree you dork lol
crika1 · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:28 AM UTC · #52178
hehehe hey man, i never complain when it doesnt work, i said its been up for the past 3 days has not D/cd a single time after the upgrades, i never complained
crika1 · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:29 AM UTC · #52179
@fallingcurtain : i am not putting any difficulty settings etc, i am just telling prohash i am mining scrypt and the worker name and thats it
manitou · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:29 AM UTC · #52180
Anyone else see strange behavior from D3’s? Mine have randomly gone offline and now all of them went to 0 hashing for the past 45min.
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:30 AM UTC · #52181
well there goes the 10K USD mark for BTC on Gdax anyways
megaquake · Wed Nov 29, 2017 01:36 AM UTC · #52182
