question the reward of the BCC block is 10 coins, however sometimes when the pool found the block I got more coins than the other even though there are same hash power? thanks
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #19131
I have also requested lower custom limits on BTC and BCH (BCC on bittrex, how confusing) so that they should pay out tomorrow regardless.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #19132
75% efficency and no valid shares..whats going on?
dc101 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #19133
and is anyone knows when the BCC wallet enable back? thanks
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #19134
Ohh, wonderful, efficiency dropped to 77%, i cannot take this anymore, will be back when that is fixed, throwing away 23% of profits is just not worth it.
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:36 PM UTC · #19135
that’s for my balances, btw. I can’t keep ~$100 locked up on those two coins on here if I can’t point at least one Ant at PH and have it make about as much as an Ant on NH.
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #19137
for some reason the server just got overloaded
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #19141
I wouldn’t be surprised if NiceHash is behind it. They likely FEAR the potential here.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #19144
@steve why no valid shares and 65% efficency?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #19145
the fact that this issue started after we fixed the connection issues is more likely
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #19146
My assessment of their assessment of this pool remains as stated, though.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #19147
I saw scrypt go upp to 600 then downagain...crashminers?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #19148
They FEAR us here, as it should be.
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #19149
well, if we do decide to expand, one of our first orders of business will be to hire a private investigator to determine who is running NiceHash and report them to government officials to ensure there is no tax evasion occurring
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #19150
but again, there is no evidence that NiceHash is responsible for whatever is happening, or that whatever is happening is even an attack
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19152
NiceHash is running an illegal money transmission business
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19153
I can’t promise any results, but I can join the hunt!
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19154
and if they are not, then they should provide proof of their licenses
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19155
So why would price jump to 60" then down in 1-2 secs?
C0ins · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19156
as long as they make me money ... I’ll pay my taxes ...
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #19157
Well the Mega Ultra Chickun is rising.. So same shit happening as on other pools.. pumpin double rates
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #19159
I’d start searching in mainland China...
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #19161

micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #19162
@Jalapan , price is rising over buys and the downs come by standing orders (long and short time holders with sell orders on a specific worth)
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #19163
S3KshuN8 wrote: Steve Sokolowski wrote: NiceHash is running an illegal money transmission business Just getting this quote into my clipboard... If you disagree, feel free to say why
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #19164
I just don’t understand how they can receive and transmit money like that without licenses
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #19165
Steve Sokolowski wrote: let me try restarting quit the restarts.. pls, everything is working for me
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:49 PM UTC · #19167
@Steve make ph great again!! Make those shares come through and efficency go up to 95%+
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #19169
I’m going to look at changes that were made over the past week to see what might have caused that
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #19170
You are a dick for people that have to restart their miners manually..
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #19171
then they are not set up correctly.
C0ins · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #19172
micca410evo wrote: You are a dick for people that have to restart their miners manually.. I hope there is something lost in translation there
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #19173
it picked up automatically though xD
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #19174
you’re the dick for setting them up wrong and expecting the pool to fix your problem for you.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #19175
@Steve last 3 days ive had to get manual adjusting for lost shares..maybe That will give you a clue
?
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #19176
I think the wink didnt bring in the sarcasm mode? @S3KshuN8
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #19178
ok good, sorry i’ll try to keep it professional than
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #19179
And I get busted and nearly banned for my comments, you guys are too wild!
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #19180
one way we might be able to better handle this problem is to simply prevent more than 5000 connections
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #19181
I stopped trying to be professional a couple of decades ago... My bad, sorry.
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #19183
something happens after a period of time
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #19184
Do you mean limit to under 5000 workers?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #19185
it’s really odd because the number of coins is low now
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #19186
so it’s not coin assignment, which would have been really bad
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #19187
zpool is showing 0.5% rejected - You need to get there Steve
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #19188
If you KNOW or at least suspect that NiceHash is running an illegal operation, the obvious solution is to STOP feeding them!
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #19191
you’re contributing to NH’s success over your own by allowing rented rigs to mine here.
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #19192
i didnt know NS started accepting fiat??? if now fiat, no money transfer
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #19193
we can’t prevent them from mining here
micca410evo · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #19194
Well best of luck, i’m going to try and see the inside of my eyelids
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #19195
My heart is bleeding shares!!plsz halp me steve
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #19197
let me continue investigating to see what the problem actually is
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #19198
You can remove the incentive to crash mine here, though.
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #19200
Well, it’s PPS here, currently...
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #19201
anyway, I think there’s a clue I found, I wonder if there’s some sort of network issue causing duplicate connections
Yapudan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #19202
Maybe I’ll try to increase difficulty, i haven’t changed my dns either read that we would need to do that but tons of stale shares right now. Should be priority to those of use bringing hash power here with our own rigs. We are the ones that make the money for this pool
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:02 PM UTC · #19205
Which payment model should I use? PPLNS If you are looking to make money off of the cryptocoin network, you want to use PPLNS due to its higher payout.PPLNS will give you wide fluctuations in your 24 hour payout, but for hardcore miners, the law of large numbers states you will earn more this way. This is for people trying to mine as fast as possible. PPS PPS is for people who want to have statistics to base calculations off of for upsizing their mining power.PPS is not recommended for a simple mining because the payout is less in the long run.
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #19206
if the pool is making 5k a day, do you think they care where that coin is coming from NH or small miner?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #19207
I’ll point all my rigs here and set the tip to 100% if they fix the problems. (After my ROI party.)
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #19208
YES! PPLNS , do you hear Steve, more than just me have this idea as the real solution
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #19209
PPS = good for crash miners and bad for prohashing loyal miners, PPLNS = bad for crash miners and good for prohashing loyal miners
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:05 PM UTC · #19211
PPLNS favors the longer term stable and loyal miners over the opportunistic ones that try to swoop in for a quick profitable moment
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #19212
@Jalapan - So glad to see your comments, I have tried to make the same points myself
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #19213
yes but you must control your temper friskie ^^ you are a hot potatoe
dc101 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #19214
can anyone access the BCC wallet?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #19215
oh great, I think I just found my twin....
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #19216
without NH power this pool will go down to 100 miners, like it was a year ago... no money for Brothers
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #19217
@Steve - rather than so many attempted technical solutions, doesnt it make sense to try PPLNS as a trial payment scheme to see how it may remove the incentive for the crash miners that are ruining performance?
C0ins · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:08 PM UTC · #19218
not true ... I know PH is in conversations with a large mining operation in WA to integrate ... if they do that ... they can kick out PH and keep the money flowing
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:08 PM UTC · #19219
I’m willing to take that risk. I’ll bump my tip to a sustainable level if it’s a profitable pool.
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:08 PM UTC · #19221
With PPLNS noone will need to argue against NH miners any longer either, because those who run longer term, stable orders will be a good thing for the pool
Jalapan · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:09 PM UTC · #19222
id rather have a successful pool with a nice community, then some unstable pool filled with crash bots.. besides the ppl here got enough hashpower to help the brothers make money, there are atleast 500 D3+ coming online shortly here..
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:09 PM UTC · #19223
|Exactly, and PPLNS will remove the incentive for this nasty bot driven behaviour
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #19224
500 D3’s who will eventually go elsewhere if the status quo is maintained...
ru55ian · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #19225
d3... just a waste... buy a miner for 1 coin??? i dont get it.
C0ins · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #19226
I have 150 L3+ going live in October ... I really want a stable solution with PH.
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #19227
Only the responsible miners from NH (like me
) who run 24 hour orders with responsible diff. settings to minimize share submissions would be left
megaquake · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #19228
Pplns is bad for profit switching
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 27, 2017 05:11 PM UTC · #19229
It has nothing to do with it!!
