Your most recent tickets arrived half an hour ago, and our live support analyst comes online at 1. While we do try to answer tickets more quickly when possible, we don’t always have someone available before then to answer your question immediately. It may be helpful for you to open a topic in the mining rig and connectivity support thread because we have a lot of knowledgeable miners who may be able to help you work out some of the issues you’re running into, which is a little easier to do in a topic than on the chat in these cases. Internet research is also a great tool for some of your questions, as other people may have run into similar issues and posted blog posts, articles, or youtube videos.

Setvin wrote: Do we have anything to worry about with the new "regulations" in the USA? Im not really sure whats changing. From what I’m understanding, it looks like it will affect the trading/owning/exchanging side of crypto more than the mining side. We are not brokers, so as long as they succeed in defining "broker" well enough, we wouldn’t be targeted. But US citizens trading crypto/holding in exchanges would need to be clear on what the new regulations are expecting for reporting for taxes. They’re trying to cut down on things like crypto crime and tax evasion.

I think there is a lot of pushback against the new laws because a ton of mining has entered USA now since this yearYeah, pretty much. What I was reading was saying they have to work out some details also because having different types of wallets would mean that if what’s going on with wallets in exchanges is getting reported but not with people’s private wallets, steps in the process get lost, and some of the data might end up being inaccurate. At least they’re anticipating and looking into these things.
