was going to submit a ticket but I dont really know what info to put in it, but how hard would it be for us to start using the cryptonight gpu algo? much more profitable than ethash right now

Think it has been mentioned. I would like to see this as well provided it is cost effect for the pool to add.
the eth bomb delay is still in draft, but all points to it being delayed. I’ll worry about finding another algo in half a year maybe unless our beloved ethash is really going low in profit
I would love to try out that thing, but I gotta keep a balance here between buying one GPU after another and make my wife happy with something else. It’s her turn now again
in case we get lucky someday and hit the big jackpot it much nicer to share it with someone. Don’t have to be a wife of course, you can have the partner of your choice

In the Nvidia line you are looking at the GTC 1600 series or the Quadro P2200 Both get 16 - 18MH/s on ETC. I think the GTX 2000 series are 6GB plus but dont quote me on that. Trouble is the 4GB cards are $400 to $500 if you can find them.
*RTX 2000 they start with 6GB upwards, thats correct. GTX 1050 and 1650 are 4GB cards, dirt cheap and available at every corner. With everything above 6GB you got 2 interest groups trying to get their hands on them, the miner and the gamer

I just bought another 3060 today for $650, still cheaper than scalper prices
Mining ETH lately my stale shares are through the roof, 27%. Hardwired fibre optic connection in North America. Ping time to prohashing.com is 37ms. Does this seem unusual?

I’ve been experiencing a significantly higher volume of stale shares as well that last few days. I think I Steve recently mentioned some upcoming maintenance that will help with this problem.
Most algos aren’t very profitable for a GPU as you must compete with ASIC miners, best thing for a single GPU is to mine ETH and choose your payout coin
