You can give ethash-lowmemory a shot. Just add the l=4 as one of the password parameters.

ETC offers better return with the hardware, DAG is under 4 GB
Looking at HR’s from various sources for the hardware will give you an idea but until they are running and clocked to what is stable for the card you dont know for sure. Try running ETC and then run ETH (low memory) and see what the final results are.
Things I’m finding say 30Mh/s I’m getting 3 of them (2 on their way 1 I am winning the bid on) but I’m not sure if that number is the mining drivers or the graphic drivers. HOpefully running a mixed rig doesn’t cause too many issues. But it likely will
I had one of the early AMD reference RX480 cards that was advertised as 4gb. Turns out some of them actually had 8gb of memory on the card, but they shut half of it down instead of making a second model with fewer chips. After a BIOS mod I found somewhere I was able to unlock all 8 gigs. I’m still running that card today at about 27mh/s on ethash.
Just make sure to look for the chips on the card first before flashing the card. I hate flashing those things if it’s not necessary... I’ve never bricked one, but it’s always in the back of my mind as a possible outcome.
I managed to brick my current motherboard whilst flashing it, the day i bought it. Luckily it has a thing where you can plug in just the power supply and flash it from a USB stick (using just the LEDs on the back as feedback) and I was able to re-flash it to an earlier version that worked.
since my main miner is broke I decided to let my gaming PC rest for a few days. Mobo comes tomorrow. 1 new (used) vid card today, another tomorrow, and another next week. Gonna be a busy weekend.
Looks like my motherboard and both of my GPUs will be showing up today... Maybe the afternoon I’ll develop some sort of "sickness" and take a half day of work.

Yep, the only cure is to get elbows deep installing and configuring new hardware
part of me is really wondering if I shouldn’t have went ahead and got the motherbaord that is made for mining but I’m just not quite ready for that yet.

A few of us submitted tickets on thsi so they are aware. It looks like they weren’t aware it was a coinbase coin. Tehy are working on stabilization things so as soon as they get to it it will be done.
should have called in sick for the afternoon...that half of the shift was one of the worse I’ve ever had...some customers are simply weird. Anyway, weekend! Yay
actually new worlds fixed that issue. the title screen basically was so uncapped it would let the card generate thousands of frames per second in some cases.

*Trying
The first one is a doozy. I left mine running overnight, and it was still going through part of the next day. But once the first one is done it’s not nearly as bad each next time you synch.
