Ok my main 3 cards are back up and running. I think I’ll worry about getting the new 480s running tomorrow I’m just happy that things are back up and running.

t-rex is only for Nvidia GPU exclusively. if you want AMD GPU exclusive miner, it will be teamredminer. other mining software like Gminer, NBminer, Phoenix miner, etc all can support both brands
SHIB wasn’t expected to rise in price the way it has. I can understand why the coffers went bare. I’m looking into the job posting -- well, trying to -- the website appears to be down now.

That’s a known problem we plan to correct next week; but we’re busy improving performace with other issues; you’re still being credited the correct amount of money and can continue mining like normal

It was an entire fresh install. When the SATA ports went out the System SSD went out with it. So I had to install windows from the start. I was using the amd bios flasher and the polaris bios editor, but the copying of the straps would either cause the card to be unrecognizable. and these are 480s I got for cheap.

ETH mining
Everything I have read and tried the hashrate between Windows and Linux is roughly the same. Now if you are using a LHR Nivida card then Linux will get you a little more. In late 2020 people with 4GB cards switched to linux to get a little more life out of ETH as linux takes less vram from the card allowing more for the dag at least for a bit.
I have workers connected and finding shares (~30MH/s on ethash) but my coin totals are still all showing 0 for today (it’s been working fine for months)
I have set my payout portions for Cosmos and Tezos to zero for the time being. I want to see if what has been earned between yesterday and this morning makes it to Coinbase.
I’m sure it will make it being new just may take a couple days to work the kinks out like shibin and axi did. Well Tezos at least. Not sure about cos without the tag
Is anyone else farming Chia here yet? I know there’s an issue with progress not being displayed in the mining and dashboard pages. But my Chia client is showing zero points in the last 24 hours. Are others seeing this as well?
Sorry haven’t tried chia yet. As much as I want to the ROI seems to high for me to buy into atm. By my calculations would be like 3 yrs just to recover cost of storage hd and I would still also have to upgrade ram and better ssd.

I agree that it’s not exactly cheap to get into with the low ROI. I happened to have a handful of older 2 and 4 TB drives laying around that I just repurposed for Chia. Since they were already purchased and lived a useful lifetime in my eyes, my ROI was really quick. But in order to get into now, it’s tough. With my small potato 12-13 TB farm I was pulling in about 30 cents a day over on Space Pool. It’d take a loooong time at to pay off a new hard drive at that rate.
Yea I priced out new 18tb drive about 440 then ram 150 and ssd 200ish. So about 800 making about .60 a day after electric then lose 1/3 to taxes so .40 a day. So be about 5.5yr roi. Cant afford that right now =)
No doubt the buy in for Chia is expensive with the drives costing the most. As for the PC to run the operation, you do not need much. Per the Chia docs, the minimum supported specs Quad core 1.5Ghz CPU (must be 64 bit) 2 GB Ram Python 3.7 and above.
Did something get tweaked today... My mining averages are up 20% no complaints though. Just wondering who did something right ’cause I doubt it was me lol
Finally synced in the Chia miner! But I get ’The pool URL "https://prohashing.com:3360" is not working. Is it pool? Error: Failed to fetch’ when I try and join the pool

I’m getting the same error, looks like the pool is down
