if these issues were local they would not correct by switching pools - i have seen enuff here the last 2 weeks to know they got issues that never favor the mining rig lol\
its not a miner issue- miners dont fix themselves by pointing them elsewhere - and L3+ is 384 by default and i don’t overclock, my chips stay in the 40’s and 50’s
LOL - for me cabling has always been an issue - sockets are never in the right place. Sometimes you can fix the circuit board (did that for the kitchen).
i yanked my scrypt miners and getting ridiculous warning on the sha miners now- too bad cuz i like the site but time = money and too much downtime and inaccurate reporting is too much when profits are ALSO low
i have extra miners and other pools to use for troubleshooting . when its all good and acting as they should in every capacity elsewhere- and they are - its definitive. that and the fact your not going to have 12 miners of different makes and models go tits up at the same time
i never seen my sha miners operate at less than 98% efficiency, but here- now they are at 58% so im not sure what aspect is affected most - thats all the data i have ,relevant
i been here for months this isnt normal and as i pointed out the pool hashrate looks like it should when we are having issues your preaching to the choir- this isnt research its a technical issue
after reset at 5:30 PM ET things appear back to normal and live balances appear normal and normal rates. Still would like to understand what happened at 5:30 pm from Steve or Chris.
ridiculous to say they are a scam- i mined there for a lot longer than most sites have been around-FAR from the scams im used to seeing unless you call mining pps and getting payouts correct/daily a scam then i see your pointless comment
you know why they are in most peoples back up pools like nicehash...it’s because they are reliable- i can trace stability issues of all types back to december of last year when mining was going nutso- people are still here
loyalty is not an issue but going down every few days is tiresome and un-necessary and negates ANY advantage you can utilize here so its not a matter of opinion any longer
i doubt they would disagree- its got issues that will need to be solved...constant downtime will take them backwards and its worse when its slower and profitability is down
so dick around with the outages every 4 or 5 days then in 4 or 5 months add up your lost shares....or make adjustments . this is a good pool with good things going for it and a dedicated, understaffed and overwhelmed core
i’m calling them a scam because the last 24hrs have been a total crap shoot. believe it or not i’ve almost equaled my amount here than there in 4 hours time
@NMJ - Litecoinpool returns are down because of the increase in LTC difficulty... because they only merge mine DOGE, they can’t reap the spikes in profit Prohashing target. Fully appreciate that ProH has both growth and infrastructure upgrade issues... Thus the move to solo mining on 2 miners for me.

I think that people miss that the reason litecoinpool is more stable is because it is exceedingly simple. They only mine and pay out one coin, deal with no exchanges, and (as far as I'm aware) are not in compliance with IRS regulations. Unfortunately, this system will never be as stable as other pools because it isn’t possible to completely test a system with so many coins and exchanges in an offline environment.
As to the issue with staffing, we unfortunately can't address that for the reason we discussed when bitcoins were worth $20k - this bubble isn't going to bottom out until $980. Our expenses are lined up with that projection, and the surplus we are running now needs to be set aside to keep us afloat when the bottom of this cycle is reached. Then, we'll have an incredible featureset in time for the next uptrend.
so I think that bitcoins will fall to $980 and hover around there for a few months, and then while they will recover, most of the recovery will be in BCH and ETH
@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> thanks for your thoughts. if we project that a bit out the next bubble should have BTC (or one of it variants, maybe the whole of the BTC’s) at figures.
@cloaker : what is your problem man? just because your upset about what you perceive to be issues with the mining here is no reason to get personal. and just a FYI, many of the issues you mentioned in your tirade yesterday occur with other pools as well. i will grant that PH has a tad more than most others but this site is what it is. no one is making you mine here are they? perhaps you are a masochistic?
Steve and Chris are upstanding men in my observation. they answer all the tough questions. you may not like the answer but they do not evade. tough to do in this environment.
So about the $980 - I’m sure that was a long time support level, but that was like 4-5 years ago and the market is way different now. That would be similar to saying Apple stock traded at $100 back in 14 and some in 15 and that it will go back there because it traded there in the past. Well the company’s balance sheet, customer base, and multiple other factors play in which will likely keep that from happening. Anything can happen, but I would challenge $980 because of the change in market and # of participants.
