It could be that some coins are missing...Like LITECOIN, which I thought was sorta important.
CSZiggy · Fri Jun 01, 2018 07:42 PM UTC · #86803
But I just looked on NAME and ALL, and sure enough, LITECOIN is not listed anymore, not in error, just not there.
CSZiggy · Fri Jun 01, 2018 07:42 PM UTC · #86804
Unless they changed the name to LIGHTCOIN, but that doesnt show up either.
CSZiggy · Fri Jun 01, 2018 07:47 PM UTC · #86805
its back up now, but for a good 5 mins litecoin wasnt showing up
CSZiggy · Fri Jun 01, 2018 07:47 PM UTC · #86806
either wamp isnt showing all the data, or some catch for dameons is blocking coins from being useable?

CSZiggy wrote: either wamp isnt showing all the data, or some catch for dameons is blocking coins from being useable? I restarted the WAMP server
Steve Sokolowski · Fri Jun 01, 2018 08:46 PM UTC · #86808
we’re troubleshooting why the mining servers seem to disconnect to often
Steve Sokolowski · Fri Jun 01, 2018 08:47 PM UTC · #86809
one theory is that someone was calling the wamp.session.kill function, which we discovered is available by default unless restricted
Steve Sokolowski · Fri Jun 01, 2018 08:47 PM UTC · #86810
so we restricted it and restarted the WAMP server and will observe to see what happens now; either way, this is an improvement as it prevents customers from subscribing to and calling functions that waste data
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jun 02, 2018 04:51 PM UTC · #86817
quick restart to improve profitability
xabitu · Sat Jun 02, 2018 04:53 PM UTC · #86818
am new to this mining world , please i need your help on the passord argument cos am stucked here
spauk · Sat Jun 02, 2018 05:11 PM UTC · #86819
which algorithm? which devices and software?
spauk · Sat Jun 02, 2018 05:14 PM UTC · #86820
usually all you need for password arguments is selecting the algorithm: a=x11 or a=equihash or a=scrypt. but scrypt is the default
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jun 02, 2018 05:17 PM UTC · #86822
if you’re not sure what arguments to use, then just use n=, to name your worker
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jun 02, 2018 05:17 PM UTC · #86823
the system will automatically determine the best settings for your miners that way
xabitu · Sat Jun 02, 2018 05:18 PM UTC · #86824
if i get you right, you mean i should type one of those letters and figures into the worker’s password space?
Forum notification · Sat Jun 02, 2018 08:19 PM UTC · #86825
has started a new topic:
For those with an S7 CSZiggy · Sun Jun 03, 2018 03:23 AM UTC · #86826
Coin dameons messing up again? Or WAMP not broadcasting all data again? Only see 4 x-11 coins and equhash only has 3 coins minable. Issues again?
CSZiggy · Sun Jun 03, 2018 03:24 AM UTC · #86827
and litecoin gone off scrypt coins, not showing up as a minable coin?
CSZiggy · Sun Jun 03, 2018 03:26 AM UTC · #86828
litecoin back on scrypt but only 9 coins to choose from now...something still not displaying or coming through with all the data.
CSZiggy · Sun Jun 03, 2018 04:21 AM UTC · #86830
nice, firefly coin 200% profit. Wish I had some sha-256 miners right about now.
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 04:55 AM UTC · #86831
in the last 10 minutes the pool once again showed undefined RE: miner connectivity....lost all the ability to track several aspects of the real time performance
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 04:56 AM UTC · #86832
the units stayed connected and hash rates were displayed but certain parameters stpped displaying....scrypt completely was gone
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 04:58 AM UTC · #86833
my entire account incremented 3 cents as i was effectively serving 3300 mh/s scrypt and 33.5 th/s sha so as you can see thats more than cause for a concern since "events" continue to happen here almost every other day now
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 05:00 AM UTC · #86834
what happens to 4 minutes of hashing X 5000 miners.....those are nice chunks and the system doesnt ’catch’ up anything...there is crediting ...where does it go- the machiunes are still ahshing where does it go?
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 05:01 AM UTC · #86835
the payout is not tops in mining pools the technical mishaps add up and do not seem to favor anyone in the long term
cloaker · Sun Jun 03, 2018 05:02 AM UTC · #86836
there are issues- they are subtle and they are intermittent
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 10:57 AM UTC · #86838
CSZiggy wrote: and litecoin gone off scrypt coins, not showing up as a minable coin? that’s just a display issue
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 10:58 AM UTC · #86839
the coin is still minable and I’ll try to figure that out today
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 11:52 AM UTC · #86840
cloaker wrote: in the last 10 minutes the pool once again showed undefined RE: miner connectivity....lost all the ability to track several aspects of the real time performance the system is designed so that, when the WAMP server is offline, it is able to continue mining without any loss of money
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 11:53 AM UTC · #86841
so you can be assured that, even if the website is offline or there is some display issue, the backend is functioning properly

bitcoin in error, or just not showing on WAMP data?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 11:07 PM UTC · #86845
CSZiggy wrote: bitcoin in error, or just not showing on WAMP data? That was that bug that I thought was fixed earlier but is now actually fixed
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 03, 2018 11:08 PM UTC · #86846
the length of the bars is still incorrect; I’ll work on that tomorrow

please can anyone help me in d3 settings please
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:24 AM UTC · #86853
@ifeco : a=x11 n=miner1 for password
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:25 AM UTC · #86854
use your prohashing.com login name on the main site for the username and that other info for password
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:32 AM UTC · #86855
@csziggy please what do you set d=?
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:33 AM UTC · #86856
i have two d2 i want to setup
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:34 AM UTC · #86857
please if you don’t mine can u write correct setup for me
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:34 AM UTC · #86858
i register here as ifeco
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:38 AM UTC · #86859
1st one password is a=x11 n=miner1
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:38 AM UTC · #86860
2nd miner gets a=x11 n=miner2
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:38 AM UTC · #86861
am getting confuse ......worker and password..(example..worker =ifeco,..password tab..=n=x11 n=ifeco
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:39 AM UTC · #86864
put that one password line for 1 of them
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:39 AM UTC · #86865
and a=x11 n=miner2 for the other one
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:39 AM UTC · #86867
the A value tells what algo it is, X11, scrypt, equihash
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:39 AM UTC · #86868
the N value is just a name for the miner
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:40 AM UTC · #86870
you could put in n=thing1 and n=thing2 if so inclined, whatever you want to call them
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:40 AM UTC · #86872
if you dont know, dont put a D= in
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:41 AM UTC · #86877
you may want to find a 2nd pool and put that pools info in for failover 2 or 3
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:42 AM UTC · #86879
so it has a place to connect to, sometimes after you set settings PH takes a few minutes to connect in, I found having failover info in for the other 2 pools helped it connect to them and then eventually to PH
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:42 AM UTC · #86880
if the D3s are going at 18GH
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:43 AM UTC · #86882
should make about $7 a day with 2 of the D3s, and then however much you pay for electric off that
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:43 AM UTC · #86883
if its free electric then should make around $7 a day
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:44 AM UTC · #86886
no 3.60, 2 of them is $7 total
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:45 AM UTC · #86887
2400 watts, @ .10 a watt....5.75 a day in electric costs, so making $1.25 per day running both of them
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:45 AM UTC · #86888
whattomine is saying 9.81$
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:46 AM UTC · #86890
Ph isnt listed on whattomine, so its profits arent included there
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:46 AM UTC · #86893
but if you look at the main page's chart, yesterday X11 paid out 20 cents per GH
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:46 AM UTC · #86894
so .20 X 18GH if running each D3 at that
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:47 AM UTC · #86895
or .2 times whatever the hashrate says its att total for both of your miners
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:47 AM UTC · #86896
we just mining mining and find a way to pay the bills
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:47 AM UTC · #86897
i turned all 3 my D3s off last month
ifeco · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:47 AM UTC · #86898
hoping market will rebound and you sell coins and throw d3 away
CSZiggy · Tue Jun 05, 2018 01:47 AM UTC · #86899
wasnt worth it to run them
