keksik · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:21 PM UTC · #76457
Hey guys, is normal that im got only 33usd for yesterday with L3+ (600Mhs) and 2x D3 (each 18Ghs) every days on whattomine it shows aprox 20usd for l3+ and both D3’s. i noticed that D3’s are schwithing coins very fast, in 2-3seconds sometimes.
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:22 PM UTC · #76458
33 USD for an L3+ seems good to me.
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:22 PM UTC · #76459
oh you mean 1x L3+ and 2x D3 is getting about 33usd?
keksik · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:22 PM UTC · #76460
i mean together for l3+ AND 2x D3’s
keksik · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:24 PM UTC · #76461
for yesterday it shows 0,05c for 1mh in x11 and 3.54c for scrypt. i did my math and i should get 21+for l3+ and 18+ for 2D3’s,so 39usd
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:36 PM UTC · #76462
those websites can’t predict your profit
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:36 PM UTC · #76463
it’s just a guess when they do
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #76464
why would steve offer to buy people’s L3+? why not just order from bitmain
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:09 PM UTC · #76465
i guess to asave time on shipping and stuff, it still just seems shocking to me
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:13 PM UTC · #76469
I just returned my L3+ to the seller was too pricey.
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:14 PM UTC · #76470
i’m too broke for these things and i like american products
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:15 PM UTC · #76471
all my miners were bought for less than 100 dollars each. they are all shitty
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:19 PM UTC · #76472
i don’t get it why bitmain has this monopoly on manufacturing miners
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:20 PM UTC · #76473
and it probably doesn’t take thousands of dollars to make one
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:26 PM UTC · #76474
only USA manufacturer i know of is jstefanop but he only makes the small moonlanders, nowhere near the hashrate of big miners
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:28 PM UTC · #76475
i went to college for electronics technology but it’s all wasted. no jobs for me
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:29 PM UTC · #76476
2 years and 20k+ dollars student loan debt
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:32 PM UTC · #76478
why cant we make our own hashing boards
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:33 PM UTC · #76479
i bet we can legally copy some of bitmain architecture but i dont have any experince with chip design
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:37 PM UTC · #76481
well you can buy the chips and maybe make your own pcb. hard to make cheaply in small batches, and i don’t think people hand solder stuff much anymore when they get down to smd size
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:38 PM UTC · #76482
i tried to ask jstefanop about blueprints or schematics but of course he didn’t share it. was was for the first moonlander
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:40 PM UTC · #76483
to reverse engineer bitmains stuff, sounds like a risky road but they do have a working recipe
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:43 PM UTC · #76484
but i guess it’s like anything with a patent, just change one little thing and rebrand it
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:43 PM UTC · #76487
guess those are one in the same
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:43 PM UTC · #76488
risky like they are billions of dollars in networth and could sue the shit out of me
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:43 PM UTC · #76489
dont take this the wrong way but most of us dont have shit compared to them
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:44 PM UTC · #76490
like if they have billions they arent gonna waste their time trying to take your house
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:44 PM UTC · #76492
and besides we have some great american attorneys who would love to pound china in the pooper
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:44 PM UTC · #76493
it would be worth talking with a patent attorney probably
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:44 PM UTC · #76494
i mean you can take their box and boards redesign and make them slightly less powerful
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:45 PM UTC · #76495
why would they want to come after someone who made a similar product but not as good?
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:45 PM UTC · #76496
yea i like small miners, most people who would buy a miner aren’t going to want to spend thousands of dollars
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:45 PM UTC · #76497
if you could, for example, create a 490mh/s scrypt miner for 1200 and undercut them
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:46 PM UTC · #76498
so i don’t understand the current market at all
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:46 PM UTC · #76499
i mean its a fucking racket they only take BCH
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:46 PM UTC · #76500
bitmain only accepts bch now?
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:47 PM UTC · #76503
bch was a scam in itself
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:47 PM UTC · #76504
yea and according to one of us here on PH, said it takes almost 10 days for the funds to get approved and into your BCH wallet
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:47 PM UTC · #76505
did you hear about overstock.com messing up between BTC and BCH
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:47 PM UTC · #76508
nope, didn’t hear about it
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:47 PM UTC · #76509
i didnt know overstock took crypto but they do and somehow transcribed BCH for BTC
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:48 PM UTC · #76511
so people were getting, lets say 15,000 usd worth of product for 2500 or whatever the two currencies were
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:48 PM UTC · #76514
yea someone there probably had a bad bad morning
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:49 PM UTC · #76515
i bet all their graphics cards, motherboards and psus disappeared
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:50 PM UTC · #76516
this is why we can’t have nice things
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:51 PM UTC · #76517
well i don’t have nice things because i’m broke and unemployed, but that’s kinda besides the point
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:54 PM UTC · #76518
lol see then bitmain wouldnt want to mess with you
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:54 PM UTC · #76519
nothing personal but you, OR i, arent worth it to them
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:54 PM UTC · #76520
now Appleminer one the other hand.
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:55 PM UTC · #76521
I went ahead and bought, after returning my L3+, T7500 refurb for under 200
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:55 PM UTC · #76522
need to get a few cards to put in there
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:56 PM UTC · #76526
did you see my post in the thread Re: No new coins or updates due to Meltdown vulnerability? i think it might be too edgy
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:57 PM UTC · #76527
i have some old dell precision T1500s
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:58 PM UTC · #76528
yea might delete that post.. i was a bit drunk and the aura guy triggers me
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 09:59 PM UTC · #76529
wait a second.. how do i even delete a post?
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:01 PM UTC · #76530
i reported my own message
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:03 PM UTC · #76531
just edit it to say something else apparently
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:05 PM UTC · #76536
that seems like too much
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:06 PM UTC · #76537
does it? seems good considering the ones less than 600 are all sold out on newegg
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:06 PM UTC · #76538
but i guess it’s like a high end processor, not sure why it costs so much more.. material costs can’t be that much more
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:06 PM UTC · #76539
seems like the cheapest available is almost 1k
FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:06 PM UTC · #76543
albiet i wasnt mining 6 months ago
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:09 PM UTC · #76544
i think i started back in 2015, had a few gpu like radeon 6950, and small asic scrypt miners. 4 futurebit moonlanders, 4 gaw fury, 3 zeus thunder x3. and recently i ordered 4 of the new moonlander 2s, waiting for those
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:09 PM UTC · #76545
spent a whole ltc on 4 moonlander 2. like 64 bucks each
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:10 PM UTC · #76549
well yea preorder from asicpuppy or holybitcoin
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:11 PM UTC · #76550
i went holybitcoin for the moonlander v1.2, and ordered from asicpuppy this time. i’ll find out if they are legit, or i’m out a ltc
spauk · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:11 PM UTC · #76551

FastCashMining · Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:12 PM UTC · #76553
