often times real estate agents are contractors, their brokers dont pay their employment taxes... they leave that up to them and their accountants

travelinmusic · · #78770

Thanks for the insight fastcash

travelinmusic · · #78771

But the real estate broker or agent is not a customer

ZiGen · · #78772

FastCashMining wrote: its typical for any work someone does for someone else who is NOT an employee

travelinmusic · · #78773

" Prohashing’s liability for payments exceeding the $600 yearly threshold for customers who have not submitted information ends 90 days after the threshold was first exceeded." states the policy as written by PH. Since I have been here less than 90 days it is mute point?

ZiGen · · #78774

Are you/we DOING any work FOR the pool ...NO, WE/YOU are doing our/your BUSINESS , whick is mining...Prohashing is our outsourced Service contractor which is awarded 5% commision of OUR/YOURS earnings ...OK ? NOT the opposite like they are claiming ...

travelinmusic · · #78775

Again a quote from PH "Since we rent hashrate from customers (who are independent contractors)" So they are claiming we the customers are contractors. So if I/We are contractors then I/We need a contractors license. At least according to California

ZiGen · · #78776

Prohashing is in business to white software to serve US the MINERS - our COLLECTIVE Mining Hashrate with collecting OUR shares, calculating OUR earnings , distributing OUR Coins ...Software as a Service ...We HIRE THEM with OUR Hash Power ...That’s IT!

travelinmusic · · #78777

Makes sense Zigen

ZiGen · · #78778

Without US they are OUT of Business ...WE are NOT ...I can go to litecoinpool or Nicehash right now with a few clicks ...OK!!!

ZiGen · · #78779

Don’t allow to get misleaded...

ZiGen · · #78780

travelinmusic wrote: Again a quote from PH "Since we rent hashrate from customers (who are independent contractors)" So they are claiming we the customers are contractors. So if I/We are contractors then I/We need a contractors license. At least according to California
This is COMPLETE BS ...by their "lawyer" probably...

travelinmusic · · #78781

Even at the dead low payout rate of $14.10 yesterday for 610mhs here it is a no brainer to switch to litecoinpool.org where the same 610mhs paid about $17. or more yesterday.

travelinmusic · · #78782

That 14.10 is probably lower because I also had a solo miner going that threw some merged mining into that amount

gjbutton · · #78783

Hi...I have had two ether transfer failures from Prohashing to my ether wallet. Can someone tell me how to get the missing ether? Thx

ZiGen · · #78784

This is like ...if I am having sex with a girl...she is claimimg that she rented my dick...

travelinmusic · · #78785

That whole 1099 paragraph was definitely not written by a real lawyer in my opinion. It is full of contradictions

travelinmusic · · #78786

lol

travelinmusic · · #78787

well who paid for the dinner :?:

ZiGen · · #78788

Who own the Hash Power ...we own OUR rigs ...Period ...End of story...

ZiGen · · #78789

I am paying ...dinner ...electricity etc ...in OUR case...Right?

travelinmusic · · #78790

travelinmusic · · #78791

clt89864 · · #78792

any idea why payouts are now listed as 2+ days?

ZiGen · · #78793

Thanks, buddy ...

travelinmusic · · #78794

gemohler · · #78795

I love how everyone that doesnt like it. Is still here...not liking it.

travelinmusic · · #78796

Love it here, Just have one toe in the pool though. I just want the $50 bucks in dollars fairly mined and due from a month ago, Is that too much to ask? No one in their right mind wants to be turned into the IRS for a couple of dog ecoins but I understand this is a US based company and they are trying to follow protocol. Pay my $50 and a little help tracking some missing bitbar bits is all I ask for the 5% at this point. Otherwise this pool is mint.

greaseman316 · · #78797

holy cow still same ole problems, figure those things would have been fixed by now

it’s just you, as far as we know

danielorsolic · · #78812

The payout proportions dont work at all. I cant see it and I cant add any of them. What is going on there?

danielorsolic · · #78813

@ Steve: Could you give us some information/update about it?

try relogging

Could you submit a support ticket about the issue? This seems to be only applicable to you and we’ll be glad to help you when you provide more information in a support ticket

Profits here are down 40% but dash isnt. Great. Never get a proper response, just some snide comment from an amateur, never sorted any problems out. Shoddy operation this, shoddy.

It might have to do with our connection, which is unreliable - we hope to address that in March when our Enterprise-class Internet connection is installed

a PROPER response would be via a help ticket, all other responses are non official(amateur).

AppleMiner · · #78825

@Muggins here :  But Steve did make a response later on: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3166#p15680

Aura89 · · #78826

@Muggins here :  Since December 19th, Dash has decreased from $1493, to $851 today. So you are correct, it’s not down %40. Sadly, you being correct doesn’t help you, because in reality, it’s down %44.

So much hate on here all the time. If you dont like it leave. Nothing stopping you. Prohashing has tons of tickets they try to get through as quickly as possible. Let them do there work.

djliss · · #78831

anyone got a spare L3+ hashing board?

AppleMiner · · #78832

@djliss :  they dont sell spare boards, ive seen them on ebay for 1-2K

djliss · · #78833

yeah ive seen a couple but none there now lol

djliss · · #78834

i got 3 hours erlier before all xxxxxx on 1 chain, looks like its on its way out

djliss · · #78835

it only cost me £700 and earnt 10 litecoins so in profit with it, any extra is a bonus i suppose

djliss · · #78836

and i just noticed i found a dash block on my d3 yesterday.......if only i was solo nevermind lol

Muggins here · · #78837

Steve if you have time, go through my message archive, particularly after you passed me to Antminer for support. A 100% penalty permanently attached to aminer and the subsequent delays and restarts, cost people like mew money, pure and simple. I did what was asked of me, and got no help in return. At no time was i asked to raise a ticket because i was already in dialogue about a specific problem. Which was never rectified. Again check your own archives. Regards.

travelinmusic · · #78838

Most times that I see xxxxxxxxxxxxx is due to card over heat. Lower your intake. Some cards read higher than others. Usually it is the second card from the left. or second row from the top that shows xxxx If you are absolutely sure your temps are good then deselect the off at 80 box. or Try running fans at 95%. I am refering to L3+.

travelinmusic · · #78839

of course you will need to reboot to get oooooooooo again

Muggins here · · #78840

I actually think the infrastructure here is superb, but my experience with support, shoddy. I am mining elsewhere and noticing 25% more immediately and no restarts. Sad to be leaving but would be a fool to minimise my profits through loyalty.

djliss · · #78841

travelinmusic wrote: of course you will need to reboot to get oooooooooo again
yeah keep rebooting it, was looking for the blissz firmware but its been taken down, wanted to under clock and volt that board

djliss · · #78842

it had a dodgy last chip on the board when i got it, was a fleebay job!

travelinmusic · · #78846

What is Blissz? The firmware is available at the website.

djliss · · #78847

modded firmware, i’m running it on my d3

djliss · · #78848

a quick google should bring it up

AppleMiner · · #78853

confusedjtag · · #78854

AppleMiner · · #78855

log into prohashing.com

AppleMiner · · #78856

click on settings

AppleMiner · · #78857

scroll down

AppleMiner · · #78858

are you a US citizen?

AppleMiner · · #78859

AppleMiner · · #78860

then should get payout tomorrow

AppleMiner · · #78861

i'd reload the page afterwards, log off, log back in, and double check the answer took, but thats just me, im extra cautios

Apple do you know if we fill the 1099 request, do they send 1099 for 2017 now? or is start 2018 and get 1099 Jan 2019?

AppleMiner · · #78866

AppleMiner · · #78867

AppleMiner · · #78868

The forms will be available in 19

Steve Sokolowski · · #78871

for this year, we might provide an alternate report, like a CSV export
