you do WORK on the pool, and basically get paid in CREDIT.

the CREDIT is used to purchase the coin you want for your payout, so if the coin is going up or down you get more or less of them for the same WORK and the same CREDIT 1 day to the next.

It takes some time to upgrade hardware specs. I’d expect to see announcements of new hardware after the chinese new year. In the near term, bitmain has a price advantage over the A4+, but you may see the prices in future batches decrease on the L3+ as it reaches the end of its product lifetime.

Personally, I’d perfer to see more power efficiency rather than a 10-15% hash rate boost -- it would allow a greater density of miners for the same thermal and power footprint.

ran it on 456 for about 75 days now on 450. i started getted more HW errors so i turned it down just a little and now i have virtually none again

i keep all my boards under 63' on a hot day so i dont believe it has shortened the lifespan but probably a little. i was more worried about ROI then the machine lasting for years. i got my money back already though
