Any comment on best D3 placement? PH and NH don’t seem profitable now.

Aura89 · · #47459

That’s because the D3 is not very profitable. PH and NH are still your best bet.

. PH and NH are running at a loss given my cost of power in Australia.

Basara · · #47461

Only way the D3 is profitable is to simply sell the device, lol

I put the L3s on litecoinpool for the past day to duck out of the madness at PH. is it over?

No, it’s still the same

fallingcurtain · · #47466

Prohash keeps dying

DoNotUseYourName · · #47467

Anybody actually keeping bitcoin gold?

DoNotUseYourName · · #47468

I feel dumping it for Monero might be good idea but not sure when. As the Segwit1 fork on btc maybe itll get popular until ppl favour bitcoincash? Personally..... I am all in DOGE

xoibsurferx · · #47469

When will I be able to register to mine? It says the maximum number has been reached =(

xoibsurferx · · #47470

I may be mining on Granatgas if I can’t get registered here.

DoNotUseYourName · · #47471

im on litecoinpool today. its ok.

xoibsurferx · · #47472

What online wallets do you use currently? Just curious if something is better than coinbase

Searing · · #47473

So no reimbursement for 2 days ago hash issues on PH? Lost a solid 1/3 due to PH not kicking most to BUP Pool

Doge seriously?

fallingcurtain · · #47478

Monero 100%

ZiGen · · #47479

Are we back to square zero...???

ZiGen · · #47480

My miners got kick out again ...

AppleMiner · · #47481

same keeps kicking off a few of mine on and off

ZiGen · · #47482

All of mine ...at the same time...

jess_1 · · #47483

I actually think doge is today the 7 dollar litecoin of march... I think its got a lot of potential because the fees will always be very cheap to send even trivial amounts of money

Minermoe · · #47484

@jess-1 that would be the market cap for doge at today’s circulating supply, it would have to have 784 BILLION dollars to be at $7USD. I am very confident that it will never come close to that, EVER. Sorry to if I burst your bubble

jess_1 · · #47485

oh no, i meant as undervalued as the litecoin was at 7 dollars relative to its current price near 70... not that i ever believe doge will reach 7 each, but if it reaches 10 cents that would be reasonable

djliss · · #47486

morning guys

djliss · · #47487

and gals

djliss · · #47488

$16.36 on PH yesterday with my L3+ does that sound about right appleminer?

djliss · · #47489

looks like it didn’t failover at all yesterday so its looking like PH stable for me

Balanced · · #47497

New to this pool, loving the live stats xD

Balanced · · #47498

I’ve got an issue with mining a specific coin though. Miner drops over and over ;( Works great on multipool tho

AppleMiner · · #47499

which coin are you trying to mine?

Balanced · · #47500

I tried cannabis coin, along with influx coin with a combination of different diffaculties/proxy.prohashing.com:443 || prohashing.com:3333. These were constant a=x11 n=Schrodingers_Cat w=1000 p=0.1

Balanced · · #47501

i forwarded ports on router as well

AppleMiner · · #47502

using a D3 im guessing

cryptomon3ter · · #47503

hello guys if someone can help, my bistake I`ve flash l3+ with D3 firmware, no boards dissapeared and hashrate is 0...

cryptomon3ter · · #47504

by mistake*

AppleMiner · · #47505

should be instructions on bitmain site to use a SD card to reinstall it from firmware

AppleMiner · · #47506

have to find it on their site, the L3+ has a SD slot you can put a micro SD and follow their directions to a place to get the firmware and how to extract, and install and then reset the L3+ to find and copy it..blah blah

AppleMiner · · #47507

good luck!

cryptomon3ter · · #47508

l3+ doesnot have an sd card slot, reinstalled firmware also swapped control board from good one but nothing..

AppleMiner · · #47509

L3+ does have a SD card

cryptomon3ter · · #47510

on the control board?

djliss · · #47511

yeah ive seen it micro sd slot on the top as you slide it out

confusedjtag · · #47512

hello apple if you are being nice today i will like to chat

confusedjtag · · #47513

do I need to have some coins sent to a new bitcoin cash address before i can be paid out in that ?

mickeekung · · #47514

@confusedjtag If you want to receive bitcoincash as payout, you need to set Payout proportions to bitcoincash and you need to put your address of bitcoincash in setting page.

kake · · #47515

hi ppl, i’m new to PH, why is it seemingly always down?

The eternal question

Steve Sokolowski · · #47518

kake wrote: hi ppl, i’m new to PH, why is it seemingly always down?
The system isn’t down, it’s just not allowing you to connect because it has reached capacity and all connection slots are taken by other miners

Steve Sokolowski · · #47519

we announced a large investment on Wednesday but have to finish out our current commitments and expect to make significant progress beginning later in the month

Steve Sokolowski · · #47520

and apologize for the problems in the meantime

kake · · #47521

@Steve. got it, thanks for the update, great pool btw...

kake · · #47522

increasing capacity would be great, keep up the good work, i am annoyed sometimes because of not being able to connect etc but still PH is one of the best two pools, NH being the other

Forum notification · · #47523

Balanced · · #47524

Yes, i’m using an Antminer D3. Does that make mining a single coin SOL on my part?

Balanced · · #47525

if it has to do with having more than one pool listed, I can ssh into the machine and cut out the code to force only one login and address

djliss · · #47526

@ steve, just read the post, i’m new to mining but have been in the IT infrastructure buisness a while and going forward sounds promising, keep up the good work!!

Jakeg5280 · · #47527

good morning miners. looks like profits are doing good over here today. hows the Efficiency today?

I hope that people are finally getting fed up with the Core and moving out

Steve Sokolowski · · #47531

imagine how the industry will skyrocket if the blocksize debate is finally resolved with adequate capacity

ZiGen · · #47532

It is about to be resolved ...Bitcoin Cash - 8MB blocks, ORIGINAL Satoshi Nakamoto code with on-chain signatures ...that’s it !

ZiGen · · #47533

And the price is just started to reflect these facts.. :D

pavvappav · · #47534

300% gains in a day is not the market deciding, its whales moving and hashing power moving to BCH. Monday, when the difficulty in BCH jumps between 400% and 500% is when things will get interesting.

ZiGen · · #47535

For NON-technical people here ...SegWit Coin ...I mean Bitcoin ( ;) ) is SEPARATING transaction signatures from the blockchain in separate secondary chanels ...

pavvappav · · #47536

.. but only for some transactions. I don’t think over 1/3 of those were ever Segwit tansactions. LTC is also using Segwit FWIW.

ZiGen · · #47537

This is equivalent of a check with your signature on a separate piece of paper...Should you take such check ...I wouldn’t ...

ZiGen · · #47538

pavv...I am aware of all "But(ts), ifs and whales", and what not of already 2-3 lonf debate... These endless arguments are NOT able to hide the facts - BCH is on-chain, INTEGRAL security blockchain... SegWit is NOT ...When the facts are talking, even the Gods are silent. Period.

ZiGen · · #47539

lonf=years long

pavvappav · · #47540

The use of Segwit for transactions is optional on LTC as well as BTC. Individual transactions may or may not deep the additional security a necessary. The risk must be balanced with the transaction in context -- Segwit for use in moving payment of a pizza makes sense, but perhaps not so in the case of purchasing larger asset such as a car or house.

pavvappav · · #47541

What has to occur is for a technical solution to emerge that can scale to serve use-cases between micropayments and storage of value.

pavvappav · · #47542

At this time, BCH nor BTC are there.

ZiGen · · #47543

Today is optional ...next release my not be...anyway my post(s) are not intended to spark an argument ...just expressing my opinion(s) ...Nobody is forced to read , agree more over to answer to them ...Ignore is always an option .Thanls for reading.

pavvappav · · #47544

And honestly, IMHO, choosing between BTC and BCH is like choosing which abusive parent you want to live with in a divorce.

ZiGen · · #47545

pavv, withall my respect 2 quick questions : Are you a technical person ...like computer engineer or software developer or something IT?

ZiGen · · #47546

Second : are you American/ English /Western world born ?

MaterialResources · · #47547

Why is PH raising the BTC payout threshold? Now it is up to .07+BTC?

pavvappav · · #47548

Transaction fees.

pavvappav · · #47549

Most coins pay out at 1USD, but due to transaction fees the brothers set the payout for BTC to a higher value.

pavvappav · · #47550

@ZiGen - Yes.

Steve Sokolowski · · #47551

MaterialResources wrote: Why is PH raising the BTC payout threshold? Now it is up to .07+BTC?
It’s now up to $500

Steve Sokolowski · · #47552

$1 for all other coins

Steve Sokolowski · · #47553

fees yesterday were $66 and we need to raise that to reduce confirmation times because of many tickets

Steve Sokolowski · · #47554

will be raising to $1000 next week

ZiGen · · #47555

Ok pavv ...No need of further waste of time...Thanks...

ZiGen · · #47556

My miners got kick off ...again...

djliss · · #47557

profit on script is down a lotr today was at 4c the other day

ZiGen · · #47558

Add the miners’ disconnection(s) ...shitty day...

greenhorn0815 · · #47559

jaether · · #47560

rstate · · #47561

hi! somebody has not the necessary account prohashing? the limit of registration is reached (

pavvappav · · #47562

@djliss - just taking a gander, it looks like Bitconnectcoin is less profitable than LTC today. Previously the pool had most power on that coin, but that power moved to LTC when its profitability dropped.
