What a good price on L3+ right now. I was thinking of grabbing another one but I don’t trust these sites that only accept bitcoin. They entice you with good prices but if they don’t ship you have no recourse. I can get one for $2580
ir0nman23 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 09:11 PM UTC · #43619
i would hold off on L3+ there is a new company coming out with better ones just a heads up

given they will be alot more money but i mean they are claiming to be 650mh and 750ws. im also guessing thats not OC. where as the l3+ is 504mh and 800
mycide · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #43622
what company would that be?
mycide · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:32 PM UTC · #43623
i got 2 L3+s that manages 605mh without ramping up more then double digit HW in 24/h temp is 65 degrees. other ones got some boards that cant cope with more then 550-580mh before getting to many HW errors. the two highest clocked ones tick in at 900 watts each.
mycide · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:34 PM UTC · #43624
i might consider buying from another company with those stats if price is similar or lower to bitmain, price substansially higher the increase in performance does not warrant that i think.
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:37 PM UTC · #43625
probalby talking about GMO. they are supposed to have a asic that is almost twice as fast as bitmains chips
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:38 PM UTC · #43626
they said sometime early next year they are going to start selling them. of course after they mine the crap outta everything first
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:39 PM UTC · #43627
headlines read "GMO Internet Revolutionizes the Cryptocurrency Mining Industry with 7nm Chips" im pretty sure bitmains are 4nm
jinxorbit · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:40 PM UTC · #43628
anyone running ebang miners?
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:40 PM UTC · #43630
"Japanese internet giant GMO has announced a plan to sell its “next-generation mining boards,” equipped with 7nm ASIC chips through an initial coin offering (ICO) next year"
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:42 PM UTC · #43632
jake pretty sure bitmains ARENT 4nm
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:44 PM UTC · #43633
oh i thought thats what i read. now i have to look for it
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:45 PM UTC · #43636
i dont think there is a commercial product out now at 4 is there?
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:45 PM UTC · #43637
well then whats so awesome about GMO chips?
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:46 PM UTC · #43639
half the size, so either double the hash or half the power.
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:47 PM UTC · #43642
"One would expect such a small chip to be far less powerful.Whether or not that is the case, remains to be determined. According to GMO Internet, the chip can mine at 10TH/s. "
Jakeg5280 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:48 PM UTC · #43643
ok that would nice. im sure its expensive though
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:48 PM UTC · #43644
if the production run is large enough, may not be that expensive
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:50 PM UTC · #43645
i think a concern for me would be cooling the smaller chips
AppleMiner · Thu Oct 26, 2017 10:50 PM UTC · #43646
the 14nms are air cooled, as you shrink them you have less surface area to cool off, at some point its going to be a red hot pin prick needle point of heat.
mycide · Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:20 PM UTC · #43648
the pin prick size ones will likely be prefabricated withe cooler from factory, i see ways around the problem, the actual size of the chip doesnt have to shrink, it can be replaced by copper or other heat leading material.
mycide · Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:21 PM UTC · #43649
better to come up with a way to water cool them, maybe use the heat for your radiators or heating the tap water
TheoD914 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:39 PM UTC · #43650

been doing some good hashing?
TheoD914 · Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #43655
Sooooooooso, yesterday I decided to make it 100% vertcoin rather than the 80% ltc and 20% vertcoin, but..every day less and less, blockchain technology has to really fix their difficulty situation on mining, if it wasnt for us then blocks wouldnt be verified!
dalu · Fri Oct 27, 2017 12:26 AM UTC · #43658
I moved all my miners to NH

yeah i cant believe there is that many miners on this, bc last week there was what 8k and the site was crashing hard now its going strong with 10k
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 27, 2017 01:27 AM UTC · #43663
"going strong with 10k" might be too strong of a statement.

ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 01:36 AM UTC · #43668
i keep getting an invalid pool from nicehash when i try and buy scrypt hashing power any ideas?
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:21 AM UTC · #43669
How’s she hashing tonight fellas?
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:23 AM UTC · #43670
slow i cant get fricken nicehash to say that prohashing is a valid pool
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:23 AM UTC · #43671
prohashing still having issues?
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:24 AM UTC · #43672
i have no idea nicehash just say its an invalid url/pool, yet my miners are both running perfectly on it so i ahve no idea
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:26 AM UTC · #43674
buying hashing power from nicehash to run on prohashing
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:26 AM UTC · #43675
yup my miners are only at 1.16gh or whatever i need more haha
megaquake · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:26 AM UTC · #43676
when did prohashing not have issues?
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:27 AM UTC · #43678
my problem is i cant tell if its nicehash or if its prohashing
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:27 AM UTC · #43679
what coins are you guys taking as payout?
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:27 AM UTC · #43681
Litecoin has to make a move at some point
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:28 AM UTC · #43683
whatever is down for said day i claim that bc i know it will go up then i sell it hahah, shhhh
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:28 AM UTC · #43684
lol good strategy, actually seems like that could work with the way the alts have been swinging
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:29 AM UTC · #43685
I see "Forfeit" next to my Payout address. Can someone explain me if Prohashing has forfeited my balances?
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:29 AM UTC · #43686
it has been this far for sure
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:29 AM UTC · #43687
you have to click it for forfiet your balance
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:29 AM UTC · #43688
so they will not pay my balance to me?
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #43689
why would anyone click it, out of curiosity? is that like donating to the pool?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #43691
or i have to click it so they can release that balance to me?
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #43695
you have to reach the minimum balance before you’re eligible for a payout
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #43696
lower your payout balance then come tmrw at what noon when they settle all the payouts you will get paid
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:31 AM UTC · #43697
I think prohashing pays out 1 time per day
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:31 AM UTC · #43698
i am new here. why is it greyed out?
Lando · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:31 AM UTC · #43699
GranatGas is rocking at 0.34 ltc 24/hr on stock frequency L3+
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:31 AM UTC · #43700
its when you have like .0000001 of something that you are never going to claim so you just forfeit it to clear that payout?
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:33 AM UTC · #43701
dang, that’s not bad (granatgas)
Lando · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:35 AM UTC · #43703
no, never tried that one
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:35 AM UTC · #43704
For example: In my payout threshold for digibyte is automatically set by PH to 113.32571338791563, however I have 100.66802204 in my balance. Question: Until I reache the treshold I will not be paid, and If I click on Forfeit they will send me pay me what i have in my balance. Is that correct?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:36 AM UTC · #43708
ok, i just have to wait to fill the threshold.
ir0nman23 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:36 AM UTC · #43709
or lower your threshold...
ProHasher1111 · Fri Oct 27, 2017 02:37 AM UTC · #43713
they have a litecoin pool, dash, etc
