I have seen many seconds to 0.28 seconds
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 03:58 AM UTC · #41891
but its a lower value than not using a d= setting?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 03:59 AM UTC · #41892
Speed says: 0Khs and Workers: 0
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:00 AM UTC · #41893
does the miner tab show Prohashing as ALIVE and connected?
dalu · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:00 AM UTC · #41895
I don’t think d= impact the worker restart delay
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #41896
does the earnings page show any workers?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #41897
hit the refresh button once maybe
dalu · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #41898
@solidnetmoney : you are mining now, congratulations!
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #41899
I use the New York, USA server: stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #41901
so you would have to log into litecoin pool and check the worker there
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:02 AM UTC · #41904
that’s the configuration help I found on litecoinpool
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:03 AM UTC · #41905
you are all set, happy hashing
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #41906
thanks a lot. So in case prohashing is down, second pool configuration will start next and then I should see "Worker: 1 . right?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #41907
if prohash is the 2nd pool yep
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #41908
but if you have litecoin pool as pool 1 i doublt it will ever get past that
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:06 AM UTC · #41909
solid what is the URL of your pool1?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:07 AM UTC · #41910
OK, thanks. Here is One doubt I have. Will Pool 1 for example Prohashing use all the 504 MHs from my L3+, or the other pools 2, and 3 will attempt to use some at the same time?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:07 AM UTC · #41911
no if the pool 1 is alive it will go there and thats it. If pool 1 goes down it will go down 1. if that pool is down it will go down 1 more.
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:08 AM UTC · #41912
dalu told me to use the url as shown here: prohashing.com:3333
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:08 AM UTC · #41915
just making sure they way you wre taking about litecoinpool site wasnt sure if you had that as 1 or 2 or 3
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:09 AM UTC · #41916
I have litecoinpool as 2. Ibelieve Prohashing gives more by mining the most profitable coins
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:12 AM UTC · #41919
what do you mean? I keept pool 1 for Prohashing. Pool 2: litecoinpool and Pool 3: f2pool. Am i good ?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:12 AM UTC · #41921
but you will likely never see pool 3 is all
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:13 AM UTC · #41922
once you figure out what pools work best for you, then you can put them in order of your favorites 1 2 3
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:13 AM UTC · #41923
ok, I might switch f2pool to pool 2 because it is a bigger pool and paysout in othe coins also
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #41924
litecoin pool has about the smallest payouts, but I dont think ive seen it down, so its always my #3 fallback
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #41926
yeah litecoinpool wasted my energy today. lol
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #41927
wheretomine has some info on the more popular ones
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #41928
yes. it’s a lot to do. i am testing them soon
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #41929
some palces give you a whole bunch of random coins
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #41931
some only pay you out in BTC
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #41933
it varies, have to find the one you like that pays the best
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #41936
dint care for it, lower payouts the times ive tested it
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #41937
lower, being all relative anymore
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:17 AM UTC · #41938
ok, u have an L3+ , what miner(s) you have
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:19 AM UTC · #41940
nice one. but i got mine on october 12th, paid $3250. don’t know if i will recover and make profits
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:20 AM UTC · #41941
you will, its not hard. Want me to cheer you up?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:20 AM UTC · #41944
you get the miner up and going for a day to see how much you making?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:21 AM UTC · #41945
under the network tab: Should I change the DHCP to something else. I have watched a Youtube video where someone changed it
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #41946
do oyu know how to set a static IP on your network?
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #41947
yes, I made about 11 buck one day. gotta wait for the electricity bill tough
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #41948
no, but I can configure it quick if you can guide me
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:23 AM UTC · #41951
if you dont already know how to static a IP, I could explain it, but you are better off leaving it be then.
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:23 AM UTC · #41952
yes. maybe i had my setup wring that day, i will keep an eye on this prohashing earnings from now
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:24 AM UTC · #41953
if there is an error you could lose the ability to log in and change the miner until you do a manual reset and that a pain in the ass.
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:24 AM UTC · #41954
static IP, is better than the DHCP ?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:24 AM UTC · #41955
all static does is it lets the miner have the same connection number each day
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:24 AM UTC · #41956
like today its? 192.168.1.5
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:25 AM UTC · #41957
after the next reboot or modem restart or power failure the miner may change to 192.168.1.2
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:25 AM UTC · #41958
ah, ok. mine is the same IP almost everyday
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:25 AM UTC · #41960
until it reboots the modem resets, you lose power in the house
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:25 AM UTC · #41961
then you will just have to rescan and find it again
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:26 AM UTC · #41963
its static, never changes, today tomorrow next year, will always stay put at .40
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:26 AM UTC · #41964
so its easy to find on my home netowkr, thats all it is, it makes it ez to find
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:26 AM UTC · #41965
its not going to earn more profits or anything else
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:27 AM UTC · #41966
ok, and should I run a scan to make sure I am on the right IP everytime there’s a power interruption or modem restarts?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:28 AM UTC · #41968
but if its says unable to connect to host or something, you may have to rescan is all
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:28 AM UTC · #41970
and thats only to conenct in and see or change the miner
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:28 AM UTC · #41971
after power comes up it will jump back on without your help
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:29 AM UTC · #41972
if your out for a weekend, you dont have to rush home and restart it, when power comes up it goes back to work for you.
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:29 AM UTC · #41973
I was like MAN...no power button
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:29 AM UTC · #41974
and then power flickers and it came back up and went back to work and I was like MAN!!! thank god no power button!
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:30 AM UTC · #41975
Oh really?if power goes out, and comes back it will come backup on its own?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:30 AM UTC · #41976
sure Dalu doesnt want to run down and flip 100 switches everytime power goes out
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:31 AM UTC · #41979
unplug it from the wall, wait 15 secs, plug it back in, see what happens
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:31 AM UTC · #41980
it may have a new IP you may have to scan for 8P
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:31 AM UTC · #41981
basically this would be considered a restart or no?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41982
yeah it will restart the miner
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41983
and in 1 min it will be booted back up and should be back to hashing again
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41984
you dont really have to, but it should just fire up once its plugged in
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41985
your power supply should be an always on one
solidnetmoney · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41986
ok. How do you disconnect properly the L3+ ?
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:32 AM UTC · #41987
or you paperclicpped the jumpers to be always on
AppleMiner · Fri Oct 20, 2017 04:33 AM UTC · #41988
plug the power cord going into the power supply
