I wonder if it is real thats why we get the HW errors on one board hmmmm.
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:07 AM UTC · #38363
ok so just have 1 of the PSU cables plugged into the spot closest to the 4 white coards?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:07 AM UTC · #38366
the controller that hasa single plug not the boards with double plugs
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:07 AM UTC · #38367
dont disconect fan connectors whatever you do.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:08 AM UTC · #38369
yeah both those fans have to come on and be able to turn or its a fault light
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:08 AM UTC · #38370
no no not the fan connectors just PSU and the 4 white cables:)
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:08 AM UTC · #38371
if you get a green light then its something else
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:08 AM UTC · #38372
ok 1 second let me just plug it in
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:09 AM UTC · #38373
dog before he had the miner on the network but couldnt ping it didnt have internet connection
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:09 AM UTC · #38374
we did a static on it and then it could at least ping out
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:10 AM UTC · #38375
thats what I am looking at routere/miner commun.
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:10 AM UTC · #38376
router/miner comunication.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:10 AM UTC · #38377
even if he didnt have internet connection, he should still be able to see the status page
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:10 AM UTC · #38378
with pools not connected hashboards with x0 and errors
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:11 AM UTC · #38379
is your router upnp mode on ?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:11 AM UTC · #38380
i dont think that page even displays for him now
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:11 AM UTC · #38381
his router page or miner page ?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:11 AM UTC · #38383
he can see the miner config to change the pools
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:12 AM UTC · #38384
but when he clicks miner status that page doenst even load up now
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:12 AM UTC · #38385
with the hashrates, average hashrates, pools DEAD ALIVE, the XXXOoo asics
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:12 AM UTC · #38386
even with no hash boards pluged in ?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:12 AM UTC · #38388
or whenever he lost it the first time he said
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:13 AM UTC · #38389
if we can flash or get that status page to display that would be a good step
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:13 AM UTC · #38391
if he cant see that with no boards, it may be a controller time
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:13 AM UTC · #38392
but he is connecting fine to the miner correct ?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:13 AM UTC · #38393
yep and now it should still have internet and ping out right theo?
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38395
so one cable is plugged in from the PSU to the miner its powered on plugged in now
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38397
it is no longer static though
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38398
try the network disagnostic
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38399
if you flashed the firmware it reset back to dhcp
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38400
is your upnp option on in your miner I am wondering if his router he has an ip conflict.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:14 AM UTC · #38401
so check if you still get net pings
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38402
if its on DHCP it should assign one not in use
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38403
to devices trying to share the same ip.
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38404
6 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38405
its on DHCP not static like we did earlier apple
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38406
ok so DHCP = no internet conenction
davidnguyen · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #38407
I cant connect all my miners to prohashing after switching pool to other one. all dead announced. Is there any one has same problem?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:16 AM UTC · #38408
so you did something on the router or modme to alter some settings
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:16 AM UTC · #38409
yep i flashed it so it reset, should i go upon the static thing again?
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:16 AM UTC · #38410
check upnp option in router menu.
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:16 AM UTC · #38414
try rebooting your router.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:17 AM UTC · #38417
and if nothing else redo the static and see if that lets you ping out from it
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:17 AM UTC · #38419
ok mind telling me one more time what i have to put in the command prompt thanks brotha..
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #38420
universal plug and play the miner uses it along with tcp check that also. or you may just need to reboot router.
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #38421
just this part the rest i remember
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #38423
that was just to get the settings i didnt know if it was .0.1 or .1.1
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #38424
ah ok dog i will try to reboot it after if this static attempt fails
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:19 AM UTC · #38427
Gateway just ad the .240 at the end
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:19 AM UTC · #38430
ip is the .240 instead of the last 1
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:20 AM UTC · #38432
yes gateway must be your router ip like mine is 192.168.1.1 make sure you use your router ip.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:20 AM UTC · #38434
thats why i had him do the dos prompt and ipconfig the first time to find the gateway address
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #38435
so we could assign the miner to the same subnet
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #38436
just try to reboot router first.
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #38437
@AppleMiner : thats what i was trying to get at
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:22 AM UTC · #38438
IP address is the IPv4 right ?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:22 AM UTC · #38439
id go 1 step further, unplug the modem and the router from all the incoming connections and let the sit idle for 1 min
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:22 AM UTC · #38441
try reboot router clear out bogged data.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:22 AM UTC · #38442
192.168.1.240 for ip address
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:22 AM UTC · #38443
then reconnect the modem and wait 1 min then recoonect the router
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:23 AM UTC · #38445
like you said purge and reboot them all always a good first step
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:23 AM UTC · #38446
unplug router and plug back in.
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:23 AM UTC · #38447
so no static just uplug router?
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:23 AM UTC · #38448
router p[ower then plug back in.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:23 AM UTC · #38449
leave it off for 10 secs or so
TheoD914 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:24 AM UTC · #38450
so leave it as DHCP right?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:24 AM UTC · #38451
for now check the router reset first
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:24 AM UTC · #38453
can always type them back in for static if it doesnt do anything
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:25 AM UTC · #38454
just power down router wait 25 seconds then power up leave miner dhcp.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:25 AM UTC · #38455
and which browser are you using theo?
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:26 AM UTC · #38456
just a crazy what if, maybe use a different one once
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:26 AM UTC · #38457
`I wonder if his upnp options are turned on.
AppleMiner · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:26 AM UTC · #38458
maybe the miners been fine the whole time and you have something addon or blocked on that browser
dog1965 · Wed Oct 11, 2017 07:27 AM UTC · #38459
point taken try router first.
