though I don’t mind ARM now, but lately really enjoyed messing with ESP8266 because of the on board wifi

they are taking the idea of cache and making 3D grid accessable by bit memory
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 23, 2017 11:59 PM UTC · #30737
but because of my assembler origins I always turn to C as my goto performance language still, plus you can use it really effectively on microcontrollers

instead of block replacing, bit by bit replacing, no wasted time recopying what hasnt been changed

bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:02 AM UTC · #30748
I guess he really started interactive computing (as in not puchcards) with PDP8 and 11 so from there C and Unix is really the go, and once you have used unix/linux where evrything is a file, the windos spaghetti just does not make any sense to anyone with half a brain, IMO

I would like to ask for a little help, I been trying pools like crazy, litecoinpool multipool.us prohashing and nicehash, to the moment I think nicehash has the most profitable rate for my L3+ but I think it should be prohashing am I right?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:08 AM UTC · #30756
So Steve, How do I file a support ticket with the support system about the email confirmation I didnt get to validate the account to log into the support system to file the ticket?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:08 AM UTC · #30757
@lhfx stick a miner or 2 on each one at the same time and test what you get is my answer.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:09 AM UTC · #30758
find 4 or 5 pools spread the miners around test them all, see what works.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:10 AM UTC · #30760
kinda hard to compare data at the same time on 2 places with just 1 miner, sorry just have to hop and see how each pool does.
lhfx21 · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:10 AM UTC · #30761

once he reads them it will go away from outbox
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:21 AM UTC · #30778
ah, ok, thought I was doing something wrong because just sitting in outbox, could not get it to go to sent

after restart definitely something has changed. 0 share reward from solo mining. not complaining, just telling

latest tweet - We found a bug where some users were able to connect with invalid usernames, which would cause them to mine but not earn anything.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:39 AM UTC · #30787
what is an invalid user name defined by, certain characters or just misspelled or omitted?
tomos81 · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:40 AM UTC · #30788
@bluelemonadecrypto : my x11 rented miner(s) are working ok, but my scrypt miner died in nicehash by authorization error ..
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:43 AM UTC · #30789
the change this time was to reject workers who have invalid usernames
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:43 AM UTC · #30790
instead of just waiting for them to fix that
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:50 AM UTC · #30792
what about kicking solo miners if their coin is off?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:50 AM UTC · #30793

what does the red boarder mean?
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #30799
they are on the wrong side of a soft fork or similar
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #30800
it said..all exchanges for this coin have at least 1 error
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #30801
maybe if it dies WHILE connected, it doesnt boot you
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #30802
or they can’t get api response form any exchange they can convert with
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #30803
i didnt try to connect IN while it was down, I was already solo mining and it WENT down, then it booted me to auto pool mode
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:55 AM UTC · #30804
so they make coin invalid so not to mine
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:55 AM UTC · #30805
and I was like...mmm WTF i was solo mining, why am I now swapping coins around.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:56 AM UTC · #30806
I am still waiting for them to get florincoin sorted for like 6 days now so they can pay men out 1800 odd florincoins...
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:56 AM UTC · #30807
after they were on the wrong side of a soft fork and decided to reload the blockchain the hard way
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 12:57 AM UTC · #30808
i think the lesson learned here is dont solo mine florins?
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 01:06 AM UTC · #30809
it was really profitable, even after the forfeit thing, just right balance of diff and rewards for the 2.2 GH I had
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 01:06 AM UTC · #30810
the merge mining basically paid for power
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 01:06 AM UTC · #30811
and the coin price pretty stable, I could never work out why, best guess was someone is using it for money laundering somewhere
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 24, 2017 01:07 AM UTC · #30812
pay for hash turn into coins was all I could think

Giving this a 24 hour shot... but seeing scrypt at 2.84 makes me think I should go back to mining dutch...
