Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:05 AM UTC · #30915
is it normal to have one of my miners with 4 times less 2hr share count?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:06 AM UTC · #30918
for the L3+ you want d=131072
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:07 AM UTC · #30921
but i think they are not crediting full shares
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:07 AM UTC · #30922
im checking something now i might have just noticed
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:08 AM UTC · #30923
they give credit for what they record, i just am not sure the system is recording everything im using
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:09 AM UTC · #30924
i did d=131000 tomorrow i may change those 72 extra
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:09 AM UTC · #30925
if the extra 72 makes a difference 1 way or the other let me know
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:10 AM UTC · #30926
how many miners you testing at a time?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:10 AM UTC · #30927
i think the miner has an issue then... :/ damn gonna be troublesome to send it to bitmain
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:11 AM UTC · #30929
you dont they only take broken parts
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:11 AM UTC · #30932
the d= and 131K is like 15% apart
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #30933
no like how many on each account to test them?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #30934
if you have all 5 miners on 1 account you arent really testing, just changing numbers
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #30935
added it at 23 pm here today so at 6pm there and i went from 1.43 to 1.83 by just having it in the last 6 hours of the day
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:13 AM UTC · #30937
is the single one the one with the settings you are changing to compare each day?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:13 AM UTC · #30938
but i dont have such an easy acess to them, they are not in my home so i cant change it so easily like a snap of a finger
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:14 AM UTC · #30939
nope, the one with lower hash and share rate changed as well
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:14 AM UTC · #30942
started running them like 5 days ago or so
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:15 AM UTC · #30943
and....is it about 15% between the d= off control and the other settings so far?
Forum notification · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:15 AM UTC · #30944
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #30945
im not sure i understood your question right now? :s
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #30946
@jake did you name your miners with the password augment?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #30947
the payout on the 1 account single
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #30948
and the average payout of the other 4 in the expierment account
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #30949
how did their payouts compare?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:17 AM UTC · #30950
about 15 percetn diff betwwen using a D and leaving it off?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:17 AM UTC · #30951
oh well changed 7 hours ago as i told you, the "test" is still in progress but so far yeah seems incredible difference
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #30953
ok im sorry I misread i thought you were tuning the data for the past 5 days.
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #30954
the account with 5 had an average of 1.43 ltc a day
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #30955
i ran a batch of tests on D= for 4 days on here
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #30959
have to look at the daily earnings
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #30960
so a big difference for just 6 hours of new flags
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:19 AM UTC · #30961
not really if you are just comparing litecoins
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:19 AM UTC · #30962
if I pay you 20 bucks every day
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:20 AM UTC · #30965
nice increase so far, gratz
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:20 AM UTC · #30966
kinda hard to count a moving target
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:21 AM UTC · #30968
if you make 20 bucks a day, and today litecoins cost 20, and tomorrow they cost 10, since you got 1 today, and 2 tomorrow you feel like you made more money?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:21 AM UTC · #30969
well i assume its easier to count your mining profits in crypto than in fiat... i mean if ltc had a surge back to 80 bucks my mining could be sub pair and my profits would increase significantly
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:22 AM UTC · #30970
not really, on the earnings page there is a daily profits for all coins, with a value right on it
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:22 AM UTC · #30971
that value, if you are auto pool mining, should be...
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:22 AM UTC · #30972
your hash rate X the expected payout for the past 24 hours of that day /100
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:22 AM UTC · #30973
well ofc not if u put it that way, but that is only "valid" if u intend to exchange ur mining earnings to fiat right away
lite em up · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:22 AM UTC · #30974
why does the 2 hr share count reset to zero if site hick ups for 5 seconds ?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:24 AM UTC · #30975
i guess I just need a more stable indicator for myself to judge places to place, pool to pool on a level playing field that doesnt move from day to day.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:24 AM UTC · #30976
the payout I get for that pools daily earnings I can compare day in and day out
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:24 AM UTC · #30977
if its just litecoins, I have to go back, find the price the day I made it...blah rhater compare $ earned per data site
micca410evo · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:25 AM UTC · #30978
because your miner restarts?
micca410evo · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:25 AM UTC · #30979
lite em up wrote: why does the 2 hr share count reset to zero if site hick ups for 5 seconds ? ..
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:27 AM UTC · #30980
but to compare mining efficiency per se its how much coins u make that matter : | i mean if ltc doubles overnight and my hash drops to 75% i would still make more money even thou its running less efficiently
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:29 AM UTC · #30981
i still dont get the average mining efficiency thingy thou.. dont get its values
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:29 AM UTC · #30982
right but its the coins values that get turned into litecoins
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:29 AM UTC · #30983
on the main page the expected payout?
lite em up · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:29 AM UTC · #30984
no restart 12 hours uptime no spill to other pools ? 201 shares now counting back up slowly ?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:30 AM UTC · #30985
just like i dont get why the power values are so of... according to the earnings bar chart im spending 44 cents a day...
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:30 AM UTC · #30987
on the earnings page, that thing like a car meter of sorts
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:31 AM UTC · #30988
oh the electric power was messed up a while back not sure it was ever fixed, I left mine blank
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:31 AM UTC · #30989
I can subtract my overhead i know my costs
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:32 AM UTC · #30990
Average mining efficiency Your average mining efficiency for the past two hours. Mining efficiency is the percentage of shares that are accepted divided by the total number of shares submitted. Rejected shares will decrease mining efficiency. Since it is impossible to completely eliminate rejected shares, a mining efficiency of 98% or greater is considered excellent. Lower efficiencies can be caused by bugs in your mining software, hardware errors in your miner, and high latency with the Prohashing server.
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:32 AM UTC · #30991
yeah i can know them too, but i mean its not a hardd thing to code at all... and my workers are all off from prohashing... server down for now?
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:33 AM UTC · #30994
i think one of my miners has a hardware issue
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:33 AM UTC · #30995
so of the 100 shares you submitted, 93 were ok, 7 got bounced...per each 100
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:33 AM UTC · #30996
how hard is it to deal with bitmain warranty? : |
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:34 AM UTC · #30999
unless its a blown board and then you just send in that 1 board
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:34 AM UTC · #31000
low hashes, Xs, thats fine, if you restart and it goes away
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:34 AM UTC · #31001
i cant open the miner cuz it will void warranty so how am i supposed to know?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:34 AM UTC · #31004
that safety screw was null and void
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:35 AM UTC · #31005
it has a warranty sticker on the screw : |
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:35 AM UTC · #31006
when they decided to make it part exchange not miner exchanged
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:35 AM UTC · #31007
you will want to open it and clean it from time to time.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:35 AM UTC · #31009
think someone said like a wool sweater
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:36 AM UTC · #31010
oh its in an extremely cool and clean environment cant have many issues regarding dust
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:36 AM UTC · #31011
i think someone just needed some better filters on their rigs but whatevers
hashingpro · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:36 AM UTC · #31013
but yeah you can open and examine them if a board isnt active or blown you pull it
Red and White Shield · Sun Sep 24, 2017 05:37 AM UTC · #31014
so anyway u are saying that if it is a faulty board i send the board and its cool?
