(most I ever paid tho usually I paid less) I DO wonder why the price raised on them tho, something planned for Scrypt I don’t know about??
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #25299
I mined over a thousand dollars worth of blocks yet I am only earned 2 dollars WTF IS WRONG HERE!
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #25301
might as well say its down
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #25302
im not even mining here ATM
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #25304
let me correct that I earned 80 cents for mining 918 dollars for the pool
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:49 PM UTC · #25305
I am biginning to think some scam is being pulled here... why would my earning be so low?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #25306
nice. L3+
macsheadroom wrote: I mined over a thousand dollars worth of blocks yet I am only earned 2 dollars WTF IS WRONG HERE! Are you solo mining?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #25307
@stu not sur why l3+ price increased while the d3 decreased. Must be more long term opportunity with scrypt than x11
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #25308
yes a single L3+ and the electric is outpaceing my rewards...
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #25309
anyone else having this issue?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #25310
not solo letting pool auto switch
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #25311
If you are solo mining, open a support ticket. I was mining with the pool and found a BCC block worth $1600 but only got my normal PPS payout. Your pretty lucky if you are mining thousands of dollars of blocks with a single l3+
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #25312
You only get block reward if solo mining.
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #25313
you dont get block reward is your pool autoswitching
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #25314
I have mined at least 3 1200 dollar blocks in 2 months not luck anymore, I was expecting my normal payout of around 30-40 a day but that has not happened in over a week now. something is not right here.
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #25315
man, read the news, prices are down, value is down, too many asics are available, and too many new people are joining
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #25316
prices are down and more miners entering the market. an L3+ will be making around $20 a day right now
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:05 PM UTC · #25318
I understand that but even as the prices reached all time highs my profits fell and continued to fall to 2 dollars yesterday to 80 cents today. something is wrong and my support tickets go unanswered.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:08 PM UTC · #25320
what password arguments are you using?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #25322
no pay out for 5 days now too
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:11 PM UTC · #25324
what is your payout coin? Are you losing connection to the pool and defaulting to your backup pool or mining 24/7 here?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:12 PM UTC · #25325
I am here 24/7 for about 2 months now I payout in BTC and LTC.
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:13 PM UTC · #25326
the set LTC payout threshold was ignored before and sent exery 24 hours. now it is slowly banking it.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:15 PM UTC · #25327
If I understand correctly, BTC payouts wont occur until you have around $200 -$250 worth of coin as there is a minimum threshold for networks fees. LTC is like $6
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #25328
I only chose LTC as my payment, so I’m not sure on BTC. that is what I have heard from others on this forum though...
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #25329
yes there is the mininum thershold I have mine set a .1 BTC and 1 LTC
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #25330
What does your live worker status show for 2 hr hashrate and share count?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:20 PM UTC · #25331
If you set your BTC payment to .1, then you’ll get paid once you reach $350 which is .1 of BTC value of $3,500 (as of right now)
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:21 PM UTC · #25332
Even at 20 a day, that will take a few weeks for a payout
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:22 PM UTC · #25333
I will never reach that threshhold at 2 dollars a day. my worker is live at 500 hash.
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #25334
I understand how the payout works it just is not gaining at such a low rate..
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #25335
something is up if you are only getting 2 a day with 500 hash. Are you submitting shares? What is your 2 hour share rate?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:25 PM UTC · #25336
where can I find that stat? I cant seem to find it.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:26 PM UTC · #25337
"2hr share count" is found about half way down the list on your expanded live worker status
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #25340
@Mac what password line are you using to mine at PH site?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #25341
that is a pretty low share count. I’m overclocked by 10% and have 938 2 hour share count @550mh/s.
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #25342
worker ID is only password argument
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #25344
and your total earnings bars only say 2$?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:34 PM UTC · #25345
on the miner's ASIC status any Xs?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:34 PM UTC · #25346
total earning yesterday is $15 minus $13 electricty, today $11 minus 10 elec.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:35 PM UTC · #25347
Holy crap! what is your electricity cost per kWh?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:36 PM UTC · #25349
did the electricity rate change for you? if its costing more 1 day vs another then you werent on the same amount of times, switching to backup pools?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:37 PM UTC · #25351
some hitting of backup pool for a couple hours earning mor then 20 hours here...
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:37 PM UTC · #25352
your power costs should be around $2.30 a day to operate a L3+ at 800 Watts at .12/kWh
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:37 PM UTC · #25353
yeah thats what I just computed too
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:38 PM UTC · #25355
so not sure where you are getting 13 a day at
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #25356
So your not really "earning" $@ a day here. You are earning around $15 a day but believe your electricity costs to be close to $13 a day.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #25357
I dont think any of my miners run over 750 watts to run, one is really close to just 700 watts
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:40 PM UTC · #25359
@hashingpro you run off of 110v or 220v?
macsheadroom · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:40 PM UTC · #25360
I tried .12 before and it was not even close to reality so I changed it to 12 and that more accuratly reflected my bill
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:40 PM UTC · #25361
i would suggest getting rid of the electric from your settings and just subtract 2.50 a day from it to see what you are making
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:41 PM UTC · #25364
i took the whole 200 amp service and split it to 220V lines, more miners on the same amps
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:41 PM UTC · #25365
nice. I’ve been running on 110 and settle around the 800 mark. When I OC by 10% it shoots up to 900 watts.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:42 PM UTC · #25366
not gonna bother to OC these, the return is too low to risk it right now still, not worth blowing up $2000 machine for an extra 3 bucks per day.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:42 PM UTC · #25367
I’ll be running everything (around 25 machines total) on 220 here in another month.
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:43 PM UTC · #25368
I’ve decided to take the risk. my chip temps keep below 60 degrees so I’m not overly concerned. If my machine lifespan drops from 3 years to 2.5 years, it will be obsolete by then anyways.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #25369
and you are using a temp IR gun to check the temps?
Skarda · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:49 PM UTC · #25370
To stugots2 - I was looking at that a4+ and its very unclear what you will get and how much it will be, as it says "as we upgraded to A4+ with 550Mhs, your total payment will be (550/280)*N dollars. Your deposit will count towards the total payment." Any interpiation of what that means, as I may want to order this instead of pay for my current order from bitmain
gestalt · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:49 PM UTC · #25371
Does everyone here get the same PPS rate or does it depend on which coin you get assigned?
Skarda · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #25372
Sounds like they could easily charge you over $2000 once they figure out what they want to send and how much they want to charge at that time
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #25373
@skarda just to be clear so Im up to date, my understanding is....people bought a machine, instead of getting that machine, they upgraded to a newer model and now want the people who paid to pay some MORE for a bigger machine than they agreed to buy originally?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:54 PM UTC · #25375
so you paid 280 for the first machine, but NOW they have this new machine so its price is 550/280 = 1.96 X the number of the 280 you already ordered.
Skarda · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:55 PM UTC · #25376
Thats what I’m understanding but their comments on this page are very ambiguous
http://www.innosilicon.com/html/news/19.html hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:56 PM UTC · #25377
@gestalt great name btw. it depends
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:56 PM UTC · #25378
@gestalt over the coruse of the day your payout should be close to the 1MH daily expected rates.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #25380
but say the best coin is as an exmaple vert coins today.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #25381
if 100 miners all set to mine vert coins
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #25382
in a pool or as solo mining, and the network has enough power on the vert network
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #25383
then vert will never be picked as an auto pool choice to mine
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:58 PM UTC · #25384
so if you can find the best coin to mine, and you and 99 friends can all point to it and overload it, then you can hog all those profits all day to yourself
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 05:59 PM UTC · #25385
and if you find that diamond in the rough anyday, send me a PM with the gem of choice and Ill join you.
gestalt · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #25388
But if for example the auto pool puts 25 people on Vert and 75 people on LTC. Do both groups get the same payment per share?
gestalt · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #25389
Or do you actually have to get assigned Vert to get the higher profitability?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #25390
@skarda did you pree order any of those A4s before they became A4++
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #25391
well if enough people are already on vert, it will never auto swap to vert
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #25392
so you will never see those sweet sweet profits but yes
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #25393
there is only ever 1 best coin to mine
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #25394
and not everyone can always fit in to mine it, so you get the 2nd coin and 3rd coin choicse...
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 06:03 PM UTC · #25395
and as they arent the best coin, they have slightly lesser profits.
