I can see an issue with how it is done here
peepeepool · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:03 PM UTC · #25198
Yo Steve, heads up, I got my BitConnect coin payment on my scrypt account but it still shows a balance. It was from the forfeit issue so make sure it won’t try to double pay tonight.
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:04 PM UTC · #25199
@Steve Sokolowski : havnt gotten an answer, are you able to manually forfeit my btc balance?
UPSoft · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:11 PM UTC · #25200
as practice shows they can forfeit any balance
UPSoft · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:12 PM UTC · #25201
i think you sould create ticket
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:16 PM UTC · #25202
on the settings page where you can set you payout addresses there is a forfeit button for each coin you have set a payout address foret
portalindo · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #25203

GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #25204

bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:19 PM UTC · #25206
it is not an open loop problem, but seems to be treated as though it is
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:23 PM UTC · #25208
@ piet - so tell me your currewnt earnings per GH, if you are on the standard coin hopping arrangement - divide the current earnings shown on the bar chart today by the number of GH you have and tell me the number you have
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:26 PM UTC · #25211
well I am doing significantly better than that
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:27 PM UTC · #25213
so, the coin hopping is not the optimum outcome, and has not been as far as I can tell for as long as I have been here, which is a week now
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:27 PM UTC · #25216
it is because any other way decreases the coins value
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #25217
asigning too much hash to a coin i mean
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #25218
no, I disagree, the way they do it now is not the optimum
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #25219
bcc is most profitable because of its block times and reward
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #25220
the problem is they assign too much hash to a coin
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #25221
soemtimes 4-5 times the network average speed
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:29 PM UTC · #25222
and then change as soon as the diff moves
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:29 PM UTC · #25223
if thats the case you should make them aware in a ticket
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:29 PM UTC · #25224
it is bad for the coin and bad for the pool
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:29 PM UTC · #25226
I am already giving my advantage away to anyone that can work it ou
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:30 PM UTC · #25228
you can, no ones stopping you, but if you beleive what their doing is bad for the coin and pool, you should let them know, because it will still be bad for you on your own pool otherwise
GregoryGHarding · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:31 PM UTC · #25229
and static mining isnt a new concept
heavyduty2000 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:31 PM UTC · #25230
Wow. what’s up wiyth the earnings? Mine are down by over half in just one week. ???
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:31 PM UTC · #25231
I am not going to start my own pool, unless it is only for my own use, I don;t want to deal with users, I am pretty old and learned that a long time ago
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:34 PM UTC · #25233
@ heavyduty2000 - lower prices, more hash power coming on line, if market does not grow profits go down as less $ shared between less people
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:34 PM UTC · #25235
still ok money to be made in the right cirumstances, even in a high power cost region
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:35 PM UTC · #25236
but right now I consider to take a bunch of L3+ to thailand where the power is really cheap
sarath_kumar · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:39 PM UTC · #25237
I am unable to connect my l3+ to prohashing its showing dead when i point my miner towards
http://prohasing.com:3333/ sarath_kumar · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:40 PM UTC · #25238
does anyone having similar problem
Steve Sokolowski · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:44 PM UTC · #25239
GregoryGHarding wrote: @Steve Sokolowski : havnt gotten an answer, are you able to manually forfeit my btc balance? No; that’s a system limitation, as we designed it when transaction fees were low and we thought we would always be able to pay it out.

I am all good, sure it is not a difficulty problem?
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #25242
if you are on an L3+ you only need "prohashing.com:3333"
portalindo · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #25243
@steve could you just make manual payout with minimum setting, so less for you to do the manual payout for user everyday
portalindo · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #25244
i meant a button in user settings for cashing out their own balance without need to wait
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #25245
anyone else finding that L3+ unusually lucky when they first start up?
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #25246
I have lost count of the number of times one of mine has found a block on the first accepted share
bluelemonadecrypto · Fri Sep 15, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #25247
after a rtestart or a firmware upgrade
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #25248
D3 and L3+ available on bitmain right now
BitterCondition · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:10 PM UTC · #25249

@Brandonloves2fly is it BTC as payment? I bought a nice lot last night and it was US wire only lol

stugots2 wrote: @Brandonloves2fly is it BTC as payment? I bought a nice lot last night and it was US wire only lol Yes. It shows USD, BTC and LTC as payment this morning
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #25255
because im off to the bank (to get looked at weird) for wiring the amount for 50 D3’s and 50 power supplies LOL
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #25257
and 25 L3’s the night before by the skin of my ass lol
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #25258
nice! I ordered 20 D3’s about a month ago but those sold today show the same ship date!
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #25259
noticed 2 different power supplies tho, $105 and $115 WTF is the diff>?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #25261
The $115 have 18 @6 pin PCE-I for 2 L3+’s per PSU
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:23 PM UTC · #25262
ahhh OK, to be safe I got those for everything
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #25264
these resellers tho..........................
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #25265
because the L3+ are only 800 Watt, one PSU can handle both of you have enough connectors. However you can only run 1 D3 or S9 per PSU
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #25266
"I got 15 in my shopping cart will sell cart for $1200"
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:25 PM UTC · #25268
the L3 takes 9 connectors in total so Y cable splitters??
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:27 PM UTC · #25269
when they DON’T announce they are on sale, they stay available on the site for like 6 - 7 hours, when they actually announce it, site crashes and they sell in 6-7 mins and for the rest of the night people are trying to check out with a crashing website lol
UPSoft · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:27 PM UTC · #25270
x2 L3+ on 1 1600W psu? VERY bad idea
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:28 PM UTC · #25272
dont they have spikes over 800?
UPSoft · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:29 PM UTC · #25274
easy.. especially in the summer heat
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:29 PM UTC · #25277
yes, but I’m sure they are rated for more than 1600 W. They specify that it has to been on 220/240 to run 2 l3+

touch the metal and get tazed lol
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #25281
I have 1 L3+ OC by 10% and it’s hovering around 900w on 110v
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #25284
I’m hashing around 555 mh/s with my L3+
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #25285
ohhhh ive never done that
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #25286
it voids your warranty with bitmain
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #25287
how long is the warranty anyway?
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #25289
never had an issue either tho i must say
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #25290
and will most likely shorten the life of your miner. 180 day warranty
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #25291
even if cooled properly it will shorten the life?
Brandonloves2fly · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #25292
if cooled properly, shouldn’t be an issue. I’m still below 60 degree celsius on all my chips overclocked so I’m not too worried.
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #25293
i got A/C’d room kept at 60 + portable A/C’s blowing directly on the units
stugots2 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #25294
out of fear of overclocking i order 20 of the new Innosilicon 550 MH (only 750 Watts) and its currently cheaper then the L3+ wont come til Nov tho
