i agree, that why i always by as many as i can afford and sell the enough to cover the cost of the whole shipment
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:43 PM UTC · #23279
thats a good idea, that way all your coins are basically free-electricity
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #23281
i do like the PH feature of getting paid in almost any coin tho.. can really tap into some good margins with other coins that will double and triple...the pool is just so unreliable at the moment it breaks my heart lol
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #23282
steve when we gonna be running smooth
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #23283
you can do the same on mining-dutch you can get paid in a bunch of scrypt coin and BTC
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #23284
i like the dashboard of PH and the coin selection
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #23285
made a real killing with LTCu a few weeks ago
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #23287
im sure the brothers will turn it around, they seem dedicated to this site
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #23288
you should join the PH slack channel
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #23289
verge and reddcoin are good options.. yea hopefully.. i will
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #23291
made a nice profit over the weekend when verge was going up and everything else was going down
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #23292
yea i missed that lol i tried mining it last night but pool was giving difficulty so i went to nicehash.
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #23293
mining dutch, i think youd like it and its a good backup pool
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #23294
gonna check it out, thanks snipe
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #23295
i have mining dutch, NH and PH as my 1,2,3. will change that once PH stops being retarded
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #23297
youget paid in verge on mining dutch?
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:52 PM UTC · #23300
pretty stable pool? no disconnects?
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:52 PM UTC · #23301
enter your XVG address, set the payout and boom, once you cross that threshold it sends
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:53 PM UTC · #23302
100% eff with my L3+’s, rock solid, no disconnects
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #23304
ui looks alittle outdated i had to ask lol

that’s what’s holding the project back right now

feel free to submit a support ticket if you can get one that will call you back and who knows about the industry
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #23308
other than that, though, I’m not aware of any stability problems at the moment
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #23309
feel free to report them if you’re encountering any
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #23310
thats insane, almost everyone is havingdisconnect problems since the new server update
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #23311
like i cant mine on the pool for longer than 20 minutes without my worker dissapearing and my miner starting over its just not stable.. sorry lol not one to nag but js.maybe the server is rejecting due to cpu or bandwith?
moonshooting · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #23312
@deltasniper, what is wrong with ProHash? I’m new here and everything seems fine for me?
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #23313
the pool is currently dead for me
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #23315
anyone else showing a dead pool?
moonshooting · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #23316
showing alive on all my miners
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:13 PM UTC · #23317
even tried switching users.. still dead
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:13 PM UTC · #23318
whats that mean when when pool shows dead? overloaded?
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #23319
is it possible there is something wrong with your connection?
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #23320
since Chris made some changes this morning you seem to be the only person who is having issues with connectivity
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #23321
not sure... nicehash is running fine.. im in MD so im not far from your servers i assume
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #23322
well, feel free to submit a support ticket and Chris will work with you, because I think this particular issue is with your connection
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:23 PM UTC · #23323
i think it is... the only pool working is nicehash ive tried switching to other pools
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:28 PM UTC · #23326
do you guys think my powerline has anything to do with it? im connecting my l3 through powerline
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #23327
@sasso have you had PH working before?
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #23328
yes of course, only a couple days but yea from friday to last night i have been
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:31 PM UTC · #23329
kept getting disconnnect problmes starting yesterday
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #23330
@sasso you could move the miner closer to the router and use a direct cord to rule out powerline connection issue
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #23331
but if other pools are working doubt thats the issue
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #23332
yea its strange.. and it might be utter coincidence but one of the times i restarted my miner on PH the site went offline lol
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #23333
even mining dutch isnt workthing @snipe
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #23334
do you have a d=setting on the miner's password?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #23336
Steve recently made a change if the d= value is invalid it boots the miner off
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #23339
try to remove the d= and see if that does anything
deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #23340
@sassoshots eek! Mining-dutch is working for me
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #23343
I would start with a hard wire connection to rule that out.
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #23345
does anyone know what causes a "dead" pool? is it just that my miner can connect to the server or what is it @steve
Forum notification · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #23347
has started a new topic:
L3+ 08 firmware deltasniper73 · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #23348
obvious question, but, did you reboot from the antminer GUI?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #23349
DEAD pool is it just cant verify the connection to the pool, the pool is down, or you are losing too many packets to the destination
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #23350
so if you have interferrence on the powerline to run the internet from 1 room to another via power conduit, that could be why some pools are up and others down.
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #23351
yea @snipe through save and apply
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #23352
doesnt that just reboot the miner, not the whole system
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #23353
so your saying i should actually hit reset button?
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #23359
oh ok i havent been doing that at all.. lets see thanks @pro
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #23360
like if you have some XXX on the UI for the hardware, changing the mining location will reset the miner to mine at new places, but wont force the Xs to reset. IF you do the reboot, there is a good chance some of the Xs on the board will reset and go back alive as Os.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #23361
only had 1 or 2 miners that had some Xs pop up after 3-4 days, a reboot and they all reset back to 0s.
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #23362
you reffering to the asic status?
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #23365
is there any difference of changing the networkk settings to static over dhcp
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #23367
other than you can make a link on the network and not have it move around where you have to go to connect to the miner each time.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #23368
AND...like when they moved the data center, the DNS needed to be flushed.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #23369
ISP modem didnt have any way to set a different DNS, had to use ISPs hardcoded one, so using static on miner, was able to use google DNS 8.8.8.8 and it updated right then and saw the new site. didnt have to wait 2 days for it to propagate.
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #23370
nothing working, lol back to flipping miners, i kept this one to see the progress and i can see my self being distracted and annoyed due to these pools lol
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #23371
lmk on any codechanges/updates steve.. ill be back when i can
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 06:19 PM UTC · #23372
i changed my network settings to static and now cant find my miner on ip
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 06:19 PM UTC · #23374
and machne keeps restarting
sassoshots · Mon Sep 11, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #23376
did i fuck it up? i didnt add any values
