Right, but what I DO NOT understand is the total absence of any updates, status, news . . . nothing!
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:32 PM UTC · #12623
the problem is scalability. The system keeps getting overloaded. I wonder if an overflow system could be setup until the final solution is completed.
mickeekung · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:32 PM UTC · #12624
Can connect to the pool but 100 share stale / reject all hashrate.
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:33 PM UTC · #12625
Not just today, every time, which is a hell of a lot of incidents, and no updates, until some summary late in the day of what happened.
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:33 PM UTC · #12626
My miners are running fine no stale or rejects
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:34 PM UTC · #12627
You're connecting from NH?
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:34 PM UTC · #12630
@ mickeekung - connecting rom NH?
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:34 PM UTC · #12631
Yeah, sorry . . . your comment slipped in between mine

No BTC payouts? virtuado · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:39 PM UTC · #12633
Agree, status updates, news and stuff would be a big improvement...
tp31989 · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #12635
Weekly specials 100% uptime
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 01:43 PM UTC · #12636
I am curious how much btc for 500mhs and for how long does it run on NH?
lynx · Wed Jul 19, 2017 02:00 PM UTC · #12641
Pool workin incorrect - coins not exchanging.
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 02:24 PM UTC · #12643
The pool is gasping for air. going to switch miners to give it a chance to catch up.
Nalith · Wed Jul 19, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #12645
I’m wondering if the new disks that were installed are not the causing some of the problems? Since that change was made the server has been lagging more than usual.
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #12646
Any of you guys trading your BTC into USDT until the fork madness is over?
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #12647
Well the pool seems to be dead at this point.
CritterDog · Wed Jul 19, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #12650
why is pool dead yet again?
CritterDog · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #12651
Is anyone else using Exodus for there multi coin wallet..Looks nice
https://www.exodus.io FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:12 PM UTC · #12652
Hey CritterDog, I use it to hold some stuff, it's slick and works well, regular updates come out on schedule
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:30 PM UTC · #12653
my miner says "Calculating Hashrate (1 error)". Never seen this before
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #12655
ah okay. guesss thats the "if static diffculty is too low we will raise it" feature. douebled my difficutly now automatically
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:33 PM UTC · #12657
and doubled it again......whhhaaaaat. difficulty that high sucks
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #12658
my difficulty is at 10times what i usually run and the error is still present --> my static difficulty is mooning. is this a bug or "should" my L3+ run at 500k+?
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 05:44 PM UTC · #12660
my miners static difficulty. steve and chris implemented a feature where they raise it when they deem it too low

vhmanu wrote: my miner says "Calculating Hashrate (1 error)". Never seen this before This is a new way to reduce load. When miners submit more than 2 shares per second, the difficulty is raised to reduce the number of shares. Profitability is not affected by difficulty.

If the D arg is omitted is this code deactivated? Consider a solo miner with a powerful rig, its conceivable to hit two blocks in a second with some of these coins.
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:16 PM UTC · #12665
Hey Steve perhaps you can set a cutoff connections limit as server approaches overload this will prevent crashes and prevent loss of revenue
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:17 PM UTC · #12666
guyz my sgminer will not even start and my nsgminer after some time desables threads and stops , what should i do?
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #12670

mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #12671
so it is a new first time setup?
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #12672
i have tryied on other pools but i want this one
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:22 PM UTC · #12674
Steve I manually set my titans at 8192 would it help if I increased it a notch?
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #12675
What is your command line look like greemhold
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #12676
nsgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 -u Greemhold -p "a=scrypt" -g 2 -I 20 --shaders 1280
mmfiore · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:28 PM UTC · #12678
ah using a video card... looks good to me did you try a reboot.
tmopar · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:33 PM UTC · #12681
@vhmanu : Can you try omitting the D arg and see if your hash rate improves and let us know please?
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:36 PM UTC · #12682
if you want to know if my dynamic D is lower compared to the new "static" system. yes by roughly half
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:37 PM UTC · #12683
Thread 0 still exists, killing it off [21:37:30] Thread 1 still exists, killing it off
tmopar · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:38 PM UTC · #12685
@vhmanu : So that I understand, with the D arg your hash is higher despite the new version compared to normal D arg omission?
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:39 PM UTC · #12686
why is this happening? Thread 0 still exists, killing it off [21:37:30] Thread 1 still exists, killing it off
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:39 PM UTC · #12687
you dont need the a=scrypt. just use "-P x" without the quotes. and i have no idea what te -g 2 -i 20 and shaders 1280 means
vhmanu · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:40 PM UTC · #12689
and is "--scrypt" right? not only -scrypt ?
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:42 PM UTC · #12691
i would prefer sgminer but it doesnt even start
mickeekung · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:43 PM UTC · #12692

Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:43 PM UTC · #12694

mickeekung · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:46 PM UTC · #12695
Just an announcement. You can choose other coin for payout.
Greemhold · Wed Jul 19, 2017 06:49 PM UTC · #12696

Thanks for confirming the data
mine_x · Wed Jul 19, 2017 08:54 PM UTC · #12704
I don’t know why the stable hashpower is not required here .. anymore
mine_x · Wed Jul 19, 2017 08:56 PM UTC · #12705
I am not speaking about bloody NH bots which really kills many pools and profit by pumping 50 G for 5 minutes, but I am speaking about stable few GH for 24 hours
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 08:57 PM UTC · #12706
@ Steve & Chris - I don't know what kind of fucking joke this has become for you guys - I know later will come the usual uber-long explanation post from Steve, and the pool will stagger on as before, lurching along between crisis and downtime.
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 08:58 PM UTC · #12707
I had so much patience with things here but I finally drew the line when I realized these fuckers can't even be bothered to send regular updates.
FRISKIE · Wed Jul 19, 2017 08:59 PM UTC · #12708
Anyway, I'm out, finished with PH - good luck to you guys, you'll need it.
mine_x · Wed Jul 19, 2017 09:02 PM UTC · #12709
Good luck! Drop me PM if you will find good multi pool

In live worker status is it normal to have No valid shares yet . . .
steveacc1 · Thu Jul 20, 2017 03:11 AM UTC · #12715
BTW just got this setup so yes I am a newbie
AvPro · Thu Jul 20, 2017 11:44 AM UTC · #12718
Stales are increased at least x2 since this difficulty override fix
FRISKIE · Thu Jul 20, 2017 01:47 PM UTC · #12720
Ok, so now that I have a much better understanding of things, and why the pool is so terrible these days, I’m back
FRISKIE · Thu Jul 20, 2017 01:48 PM UTC · #12721
Will patiently wait until BIP91 signaling is over with, and expect attacks will stop and life returns to normal
