wkying79 · · #12104

@konov that’s stupid because u can’t guarantee PH will sell

Konov · · #12105

@ wkying79 all things got a price

wkying79 · · #12106

nH don’t need to buy PH if they get all the live data already for free

Konov · · #12107

NH must buy 2brothers, not because of wamp data. LOL

Konov · · #12108

because of real miners on this site

FRISKIE · · #12109

Konov, are you at least going to think about it a bit, that NH maybe has the PH WAMP data, and that is what aaffects the prices? :)

Konov · · #12110

to redirect them to sell power to NH

Konov · · #12111

friskie - I did price rise.

Konov · · #12112

Im not using wamp

FRISKIE · · #12113

This is from way before your bots even

Konov · · #12114

ph and 2brothers is like 1-st mcdonalds - the real mcdonalds with 2brothers: Idea is good. All other - bad ;)

Konov · · #12115

2brothers even dont understand, that for their pool is better to ban NH completely

Konov · · #12116

because more real miners will come to their pool

Konov · · #12117

because if they will shut down/delay wamp data, ban nh, no one will rise price on NH and there will be constantly better conditions on ph, then on NH

Konov · · #12118

right now, it is better to sell power to NH, by the way ;) for xample

FRISKIE · · #12119

How are you making money with that order?

Konov · · #12120

with what order? fixed order is a loss order for me

FRISKIE · · #12121

How doyoumake it up?

AvPro · · #12122

Konov wrote: because if they will shut down/delay wamp data, ban nh, no one will rise price on NH and there will be constantly better conditions on ph, then on NH
constantly better conditions on NH for you is what you are trying to say there lol

FRISKIE · · #12123

I wish to hell the brothers would just close the API to the WAMP feed

Konov · · #12124

@ AvPro - for me too, but for this pool also. There is no need for this power here: 1. It makes NH go high price - so some miners prefer little less then PH, but MORE STABLE. 2. With low prices there will be migration of miners from there to here 3. Pool got enough power to mine any coin . So in a price of 5% of extra 100-150 GHS from time to time, 2brothers keep loosing real miners, which power is more than this 100-150 GHS and this power is constant

siberianbreaks · · #12125

FRISKIE wrote: I wish to hell the brothers would just close the API to the WAMP feed
Just make the request, i think a lot of people here will support you

AvPro · · #12126

I like the WAMP data and seeing the prices on a coin-by-coin basis etc. Don’t think they should kill it just to suffice the demand of someone who doesn’t like people encroaching on their NH turf

FRISKIE · · #12127

Keep it for ourselves . not provide it to others

mjgraham · · #12128

the only other option is to not provide and stats at all, just point the miners here and see what you get at the end of the day. I like the data and use it I try to be fair with what I am doing, I think if I understand this other fella somewhat is he gets upset if to many people get hashing power that his bot needs, honestly I don’t know, I what I was doing in the past was a fixed order for a day and mining with my hardware and using my bot but I have had to give up on the fixed order and after the past couple of days may have to give up on the bot as well

kirrrrrr · · #12129

what are the best password argument options for x11 and nicehash? im using "a=x11 g=off d=0.1 h=1000" and getting over 5% delta

GregoryGHarding · · #12130

@mjgraham :  lock stats to API tokens only. not show live stats on website/forum unless logged in, able to eliminate NH accounts that way

Steve Sokolowski · · #12131

there is no way to ban NiceHash miners - it’s easy to set up a proxy server

GregoryGHarding · · #12132

NH from reading the wamp we are talking about

mjgraham · · #12133

are we talking about the price of fixed orders?

siberianbreaks · · #12134

the point is someone is making a huge market manipulation un nh using the wamp data, that make a unfair market

siberianbreaks · · #12135

for just one person taking the 80% of the hash rate

siberianbreaks · · #12136

of course im talking about konov

wkying79 · · #12137

Even though he has explained it 10 times I still don’t understand Konovs logic. The only thing I can say for sure is that regardless if he is or isn’t using PH data, his bots certainly amplify the effect so in fact he is now the largest contributor to the pricing effects he is complaining about. Not sure I can trust what he says

mjgraham · · #12138

yea I dont think the WAMP data matters in this case, if your going to buy up everything in site it really doesn’t matter

ap1318 · · #12139

Ugh great the whiny Russian is back

tp31989 · · #12140

Lol

wkying79 · · #12141

Konov is either very confused or very greedy or both. Greed does that to people. Makes u see things that might not actually be there

Steve Sokolowski · · #12142

GregoryGHarding wrote: NH from reading the wamp we are talking about
they could just set up a proxy server to do that

Konov · · #12143

@ Steve Sokolowski - I sent you pm, how to ban NH completely. If you want it, of course.

FRISKIE · · #12144

Did Chris check the profits to make sure all the shares were written?

FRISKIE · · #12145

@ Steve Sokolowski - I sent you pm, how to ban NH completely. If you want it, of course.
Why in hell would he want to ban NH just to make you happy with profits. You know Konov, I've personally had enough of you, speaking only for myself - Fuck You

Nalith · · #12146

Konov wrote: @ Steve Sokolowski - I sent you pm, how to ban NH completely. If you want it, of course.
Of cause, you would want to try this as it will play in your favor to reduce the number of NH users and eventually drop the NH prices so you can get more miners for less. Do you enjoy working up the PH community the whole time?

FRISKIE · · #12147

ve/Chris, please check the shares before the BTC payouts go out :(

vinylwasp · · #12148

Anyone got any tips on a cost effective way to remotely switch my PSU’s on an off? NB: They don’t have a ATX style PWR_OK/PWR_ON circuit, it’s just the switch at the back or the switch at the wall. I need a poor mans PDU or perhaps a large number of Belkin IOT switches, though I’d rather not have to use a cloud service.

vinylwasp · · #12149

FRISKIE · · #12150

A simple timer like people put on their lights to make it look like someone is home by switching them oon and off based on whatever settings :D

FRISKIE · · #12151

vinylwasp · · #12152

Good idea but it needs to be event driven.I really want something with a console I can remote into. The problem is the amperage. You can get cheap PDUs but they only handle 15a

FRISKIE · · #12153

Ahhh . . you need control over it, not "set it and forget it"

FRISKIE · · #12154

And I guess this is what you want to avoid due to price - http://www.wti.com/c-2-high-amp-c19-pow ... witch.aspx

vinylwasp · · #12155

Somethign went pearshaped with my DNS today and my A4’s have gone into the error state where rebooting doesn’t fix them, you need to totally power them off and on again. I’m 300 miles away on a skiing holiday so I VPNed in a rebooted the router and can Https/SSH to the miners but I can’t get them back up without a cold restart and I’ve got no way to do this. I’ve known this for a while but this incident has highlighted that i need to get it sorted.

vinylwasp · · #12156

Oh yeah, looked at PDU’s when I built the mine but shyed away from them due to the insane prices. I run out lots of dual socket wall plugs instead.

FRISKIE · · #12157

Have faced similar situations in remote datacenters and too cheap to do it right, remote techician always driving out to do the resets :D

FRISKIE · · #12158

yeah prices worse than insane

FRISKIE · · #12159

One would think that with the "Internet of Things , something is now available over IP

vinylwasp · · #12160

I use a belkin hooked up to my external fans and that works great. I should hook it up directly to the Netatmo I use to monitor temps but that’s 1 more thing on the ToDo list ;-)

vinylwasp · · #12161

I may have to hire some remote hands.

FRISKIE · · #12162

Thats the low tech solution, but never fails

FRISKIE · · #12163

Unless they switch their mobile off :D

FRISKIE · · #12164

Later when I'm up and had enough coffee, I'll do some more research into IOT solutions

FRISKIE · · #12165

Am sure some things for this problem have been created, it's an age old problem, that I am sure has been solved by an IP accessible solution

vinylwasp · · #12166

Really appreciate any help with this one. I guess I could look at PDU’s again, profits have been pretty good up till the last 10 days.

tmopar · · #12167

@vinylwasp :  I got you man check your pms

vinylwasp · · #12168

mIRC downloading now.

UPSoft · · #12169

todays profit seems to be 8-9c/gh

UPSoft · · #12170

judging by the current earnings

FRISKIE · · #12171

Looks like BCC is crashed yet again

FRISKIE · · #12172

Yeah it's just switching to LTC and Gulden, mostly.

FRISKIE · · #12173

I wonder why in the bloody hell it's always the good coins that fail??? LTC is never offline, Why can LTC behave stable and coins like BCC go always offline???????????

FRISKIE · · #12174

Ans it takes hours and hours and hours befor anyone ever comes online to check on things! :-( grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

FRISKIE · · #12175

Between Konovs godamned bots and Fixed orders, and the total lack of support here for hours with crashed higher profit coins, the site is turning into something like a roll of the dice whether I will make some profit or lose it

Tom3 · · #12176

Friskie, BCC is a ponzi Coin

FRISKIE · · #12177

I know that :D

FRISKIE · · #12178

But the profits here when the algo switched to it are great

Tom3 · · #12179

Thats true

FRISKIE · · #12180

Too bad the daemon is always crashing, and it takes forever before anyone shows up to check status

piet · · #12181

piet · · #12182

not...

piet · · #12183

FRISKIE wrote: But the profits here when the algo switched to it are great
half of my miners run on another pool since 43 days, earnings are almost the same, when calculated on a monthly basis.

piet · · #12184

i dont wonna look every 2 hours to see if my earnings are going well, set and forget, but thats a no go here. I also dont put NH power here anymore, but on other pools that are stabile

UPSoft · · #12185

some1 call brothers) its 6 a.m. time to wake))

AvPro · · #12186

profits across the board down :( just market related?

piet · · #12187

well came here looking to see if it was me or the pool..its the pool...... :(

tmopar · · #12192

guys... im seeing fucked up shit else where now its no longer just here.... im on litecoinpool benching a piece im selling, and the difficulty is shooting up to 1.30P no shit! a bunch of stale shares usually follows

tmopar · · #12193

can anyone else confirm this

Searing · · #12194

my backup is lightcoin pool..I"ve not dumped their yet but it seems to be prohosting’s backup pool of choice

Searing · · #12195

that may be what you are seeing ...prohashing getting ddos attacked and litecoinpool NOT getting ddos

Searing · · #12196

attacked but getting slam’d by miners dumping to it as a backup pool with similar results

Searing · · #12197

again I know zip just a guess

mickeekung · · #12198

Is it possible that 1 MH/s expected payouts of today or tomorrow will be lower than 0.00004000 BTC?

Forum notification · · #12199

taka · · #12201

In few days PH very low prices can not trade from NH

vhmanu · · #12202

BCC errors are wrong again. @Steve/Chris check viewtopic.php?f=5&p=7078#p7078
