GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:10 PM UTC · #7999
balances were corrected last night
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:11 PM UTC · #8000
contact@prohashing.com if you have individual issues with balance
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:11 PM UTC · #8003
ugh... * im good got payouts today
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:13 PM UTC · #8004
hmm, so these raiding parties on nh lined up also have the effect of stopping all worker traffic below that line
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:14 PM UTC · #8006
they dont appear to last very long actually... only 15 mins each or so
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #8007
hey GHG , can you change the pool settings in HF?
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:16 PM UTC · #8010
oooo, so as one step gets taken, they change it from 750gh to 100mh, but have 200 workers on them
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:16 PM UTC · #8011
Unable to connect to port 3333 and port 443
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #8016

lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #8017
and theyre paying much mor ethan me lol
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #8018
@FRISKIE : you can choose from their preset pools, and can split your hashpower to up to 3 pools, but you cant change pool parameters
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:19 PM UTC · #8019
example 33% GMC 40% LTCPool 27% F2Pool
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:19 PM UTC · #8020
payouts and stats are once 24 hrs
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:19 PM UTC · #8021
and i update my spreadsheet daily
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #8022
And if I have already set myself up for one pool I can go change it then, seems like it from your description
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #8023
once a day you can change your allocation
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #8024
I have an order over that that I always forget about, I'll pop over now and see what's up, you recommend givemecoins as most profitable?
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #8027
smaller pool based on PPLNS gives you bigger share
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:29 PM UTC · #8031
@ximing1688 : if those port numbers do not work for you you will have to check your port blocking with service provider
n00bminer · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #8032
ximing1688 is your dns up to date with the new ip;s?
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #8037
The 3333 ports of other ore pools are still unable to connect, and can connect 25 ports and 8888 ore pools
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #8038
@ ximing1688 - try and manually set DNS to another primary and see if it helps
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #8039
Modify the DNS to make sure it doesn’t work.
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #8040
The ever reliable Google public DNS at 8.8.8.8 is good for a quick test
siberianbreaks · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #8041
you guys get payback for the yesterday missing shares? im not
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #8042
DNS at 8.8.8.8, the problem remains
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #8043
I was updated and the end result looked about right - send Chris a message at
contact@prohashing.com and ask him to look into yours
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #8044
DNS at 8.8.8.8, the problem remains - interesting - @AvPro , any of your miners having connection issues?
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #8045
I have to change the ore pool,
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #8046

contact@prohashing.com was for you
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #8049
Anyone waiting for NiceHash to come down, the Fixed orders are finally into an almost ok range
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #8050
Rising a bit now, wait till you see the PH profitability drop back around 8 cents and NH prices will settle down too
AvPro · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #8051
FRISKIE wrote: DNS at 8.8.8.8, the problem remains - interesting - @AvPro , any of your miners having connection issues? Few issues earlier in the day but only 5mins or so at a time and then pretty stable.
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #8052
Any idea why ximing1688 would have connectivity issues but only on PH ?
AvPro · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #8053
Firewall/portblocking on his side
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #8054
Further down the chat he said he's able to connect to other pools on 3333 if I'm not mistaken, will wait till he pops back online and verify
mickeekung · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:10 PM UTC · #8055
Look like profit drop right now both X11 and Scrypt compare to Nicehash. Is it normal?
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:19 PM UTC · #8056
Uho, Chris, shares frozen again? or just me?
AvPro · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:21 PM UTC · #8057
FRISKIE wrote: Uho, Chris, shares frozen again? or just me? It’s stats feed down
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:22 PM UTC · #8058
Aha, I see the WAMP numbers on my screen were just frozen too . .didn't realize it's down
n00bminer · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:52 PM UTC · #8060
I’ve been testing static diffs on my A2, I know luck has a lot to do with block finding, but 1280 seems to be crazy better for finding blocks here than any other 256 variant so far
siberianbreaks · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:53 PM UTC · #8061
when bitconnectcoin drops diff and become more profitable you guys just disable it, why you do that ?
tmopar · Thu Jun 22, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #8062
noob you got a whole dom or just 1 blade?
Gradius · Thu Jun 22, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #8063
Hiya folks, I’m just getting started here with some nvidia cards and I’d like to know what miner I should use. Any suggestions?

Gradius wrote: Hiya folks, I’m just getting started here with some nvidia cards and I’d like to know what miner I should use. Any suggestions? depends on your cards - but Scrypt or X11 may not be the most profitable algo for your GPU

Balances do not increased, seems like missing shares again
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 08:42 PM UTC · #8067
Balances do not increased, seems like missing shares again Yes, for a long while now, WAMP feed down, no shares updating . . I have just PM'd Chris and Steve to ask if they could please make a habit of showing up here earlier to take care of this stuff that happens pretty much every day now.
siberianbreaks · Thu Jun 22, 2017 08:49 PM UTC · #8068
Thank you, hope they fix that soon
Steve Sokolowski · Thu Jun 22, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #8070
Chris is going to correct balances - one of the fixes from last night to correct WAMP caused the database-operator to stop inserting shares, which is fixed now
jaybizz · Thu Jun 22, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #8071
thanks for the update steve, understand that this is new territory for you guys and still ironing out the kinks. glad to see the ddos is being thwarted for the most part
Steve Sokolowski · Thu Jun 22, 2017 10:51 PM UTC · #8072
these DDoS attacks are no longer effective, and the issues now are just cleanup from the hasty way we fixed them up
Steve Sokolowski · Thu Jun 22, 2017 10:51 PM UTC · #8073
apparently there were some last night and they only resulted in outages lasting 2s each
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 10:55 PM UTC · #8074
Right, you can see it clearly on the NH graphs too, some disruption to performance followed by a brief "dead" period for the order while countermeasures take effect, then back up - looks like Javapipe is the real deal
gnode · Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:56 PM UTC · #8075
Why was the payouts for yesterday so low?
gnode · Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:00 AM UTC · #8076
The payout was less than if I mined just litecoin. Were the adjustments made to the shares?
gnode · Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:06 AM UTC · #8078
Were your payouts correct?
FRISKIE · Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:06 AM UTC · #8079
Mine were corrected eventually and looked about right in the end, but I also messaged Chris and asked him to check for me.
FRISKIE · Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:07 AM UTC · #8080
This is how the guys prefer to get support requests, so give it a try
frphm · Fri Jun 23, 2017 12:20 AM UTC · #8081
I wish the "1MH/s expected payouts" chart was working. I’ve been recording the readouts for the past 2 months.

frphm wrote: I wish the "1MH/s expected payouts" chart was working. I’ve been recording the readouts for the past 2 months. It’s not? I see it fine. Is that a problem for anyone else?
frphm · Fri Jun 23, 2017 01:06 AM UTC · #8083
@Steve Sokolowski : It hasn’t updated since the 17th for me
frphm · Fri Jun 23, 2017 01:09 AM UTC · #8084
All the other charts show data for the 20th and 21st, except that one
siberianbreaks · Fri Jun 23, 2017 01:18 AM UTC · #8085
Again lower the profiability of bcc just when the diff drops

Good morning someone knows app or soft in windows watching and alert price in NH ???
taka · Fri Jun 23, 2017 02:05 AM UTC · #8088
Last day I was mining here scrypt but influence of ddos my order canceled so I started mining X11 so not so good profit still low
GregoryGHarding · Fri Jun 23, 2017 02:18 AM UTC · #8089
youre good to switch back to scrypt, attacks only last 2 seconds before javapipe blocks the traffic
JoeTheMiner · Fri Jun 23, 2017 02:56 AM UTC · #8093
prohashing.com is down for me as well
siberianbreaks · Fri Jun 23, 2017 02:57 AM UTC · #8094
another DDOS? why they hate you so much ? maybe you still dont pay for him for the yesterday mising shares just like me :O
