It seemed low, I had a few more stales than normal though
taka · Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:55 AM UTC · #7899

Mrrt · Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:57 AM UTC · #7900

wow bots setting rates on NH over 1TH for orders now
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 12:49 PM UTC · #7904
wow bots setting rates on NH over 1TH for orders now Scrypt? We had a period of profitability peak over 50 cents for a bit, and sustained for several minutes well above 20 cents - that always drives the bots into unrealistic price setting
mickeekung · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:26 PM UTC · #7905
Is the pool dead for a short time but always?
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:32 PM UTC · #7906
More likely attempted DDoS and Javapipe countermeasures
mickeekung · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:33 PM UTC · #7907
There is something wrong with the pool right now.
FRISKIE · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:34 PM UTC · #7908
Like I said, it's likely DDoS continuing and there are Javapipe countermeasures that kick in shortly after
taka · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:45 PM UTC · #7909
pool down if long time so auto cancel in NH
AvPro · Thu Jun 22, 2017 01:59 PM UTC · #7910
Id rather have 5mins of stales and timeouts over hours of DDOS outage any day!
tmopar · Thu Jun 22, 2017 02:15 PM UTC · #7913
is the earnings data accurate???
taka · Thu Jun 22, 2017 02:16 PM UTC · #7914
Scrypt dead in NH why??? Ddos again??
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:19 PM UTC · #7917
lol they keep changing the ip of the ddossing, and keep getting blocked. i wonder how much their gonna spend before they give up
mickeekung · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:22 PM UTC · #7918
Anyone know who is attacking Prohashing? I want to know. If someone know, please tell me.
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:23 PM UTC · #7919
Steve/Chris, i'm still getting the occasional bitcoin micro-earning up to 0.00002410 now and i have a ETH earning balance of 0.00000005 despite not having any eth payment info in settings
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:26 PM UTC · #7920
i believe chris suspects Russia is the source
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:27 PM UTC · #7921
taka wrote: pool down if long time so auto cancel in NH i had that happen earlier today. when i read what NH’s standards for auto cancel was i was not surprised. 10% dc rate for fixed contract vs 50+% in standard.
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #7922
fixed contracts are wacky on NH, i cannot see the benefit yet. vs a standard that you can edit a little
gnode · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:28 PM UTC · #7923
Why were earnings so low yesterday? I thought mining was not disrupted and Chris was to fix shares?
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:31 PM UTC · #7926
oh, if you were getting btc, ya i could see how that happened. i was getting ltc, zcash, and dash. Ltc increased in in last 2 -3 days, so btc earnings would go down, as many of the coins mined on PH are on the ltc market
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:33 PM UTC · #7927
this BTC/LTC market movement is causing smaller coins value in btc /usd greatly
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:34 PM UTC · #7928
er, to vary greatly. the btc/usd average the site uses is probably quite low in its estimate
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:34 PM UTC · #7929
theres been a fair bit of disruption lately in anticipation of aug 1st
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:35 PM UTC · #7930
agreed, also the rollout of iobit and emergence of ether and such
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:35 PM UTC · #7931
as more banks and finance industry look at this and put money in now as investments, the game has changed. im not sure if the old calculators will work with this new set of standards
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:37 PM UTC · #7932
if cage coin is worth 0.00000019 LTC, but is listed as being worth 0.00000001 BTC, the calculator gets confused
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:38 PM UTC · #7933
Exciting times Greg, truely exciting times
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:40 PM UTC · #7934
not to mention the buyup of LTC from asian markets, boosting LTC to all time high
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:40 PM UTC · #7935
i made a decision months ago to choose ltc to invest in, now im rolling. lol
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:41 PM UTC · #7936
i followed your lead when you mentioned 98% ltc and 2 % tip. i cant tip for now, but im growing
soon to come im sure
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:42 PM UTC · #7937
lol from gridseed to NH rentals
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:42 PM UTC · #7938
gridseed USB dongles, and hashflare
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:44 PM UTC · #7939
im hoping to get some a4 equivelent by the end of the month and just letting that purr comfortably for a while
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:44 PM UTC · #7940
depending on my income at the mid july point i might double or triple my hashflare order
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #7941
wooooa.... lifetime contract???
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #7943
they temp turn if if not profitable, but will turn back on when is. truely lifetime
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #7945
unlike genesis minging, they cancel order after 60 days of loss
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #7946
so say 100mh is 1300usd, plus 1 dollar a day,
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #7947
they subtract the MEF from your mined balance
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #7948
thats 1600 for first year, and then just a dollar a day
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #7950
madness. and you can point the miners here?
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #7951
they have specified pools, PH isnt one of them unfortunatly
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #7954
and you can mine up to 3 pools at once
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:51 PM UTC · #7955
not yet, i only have 5mh right now and 100gh sha

o wow ok so 5 got that in 2 weeks...hmmm
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:53 PM UTC · #7958
i guess my only difficulty getting into that, is i want more control over my hashing
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #7960
im making good profit at givemecoins with it
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #7962
and they have a few others i didnt test
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #7963
early days yet. the ground is shifting, no point building a coloseum yet
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:55 PM UTC · #7965
and the old addage of course, dont put all the eggs in one basket
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #7967
i like their policy of truely lifetime contract tho
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #7968
thats why NH and PH work well for me, PH sort of gives me a little control over the end result of the math
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #7969
like that cagecoin in ltc value vs btc value
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #7970
agreeed, if hashflare ever added PH as a pool, id deff put all my eggs in their basket
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #7971
if i find a good target, i can take a short NH contract to Aikapool for example and just raid it
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #7972
i prefer PPLNS pools besides PH, not good for raids
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 03:59 PM UTC · #7973
in 24 hours with standard contract, able to change the hashrate wanted with a slow delay, i took control of that network rate, while prohashing was still down
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:00 PM UTC · #7974
and thats me with 100mh, imagine what these ddos were up to
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #7976
you can see raiding parties as it were, lined up on the beaches, on NH order list. orders staggered in price, but for 750 gh
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #7977
with NH running the fuse as it were, these raiding parties will arrive at their chosen destination and dominate all incom for 3 hours maybe
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #7978
im not a fan of NH, it turns mining from a hobby into gambling
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #7979
some people are plainly addicted to NH
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #7980
no sir.... you just have to keep your set price
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #7982
they push you to raise it, but theres no need, in that life time sense... you choose your price
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #7983
but ya see these fixed orders, and cant figure out the benefit yet. tried a few times to see
ximing1688 · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #7984
Unable to connect 3333 port. Can you open new port?
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:06 PM UTC · #7987
but thats really why i want my own shiney machine
total control sort of, if i see a target i can move.
lilbob · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #7991
cant change pools on a nh order :/ but at least can control the speed kind of
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #7992
i just like the fact of set it and forget it. i would have just bought and forgot if i wasnt tracking my profits daily and making pool adjustments
GregoryGHarding · Thu Jun 22, 2017 04:09 PM UTC · #7995
you may have to ask your provider to open those ports for you
