olkah, that’s just the website-frontend and it’s down because Steve is working on it. the mining backend that your ASICs or hash rentals point to is working fine.
I will be increasing balances later when I analyze what was happening with the system this morning while I was asleep. The live stats are currently a bit slow while I am tuning the remote server, but the mining, a separate server, is running at full speed and profitability.
Pool stat run half right now. Miners detected. Balance not updated. Share not updated and not showed. Some of my miners on NH seems like going to be dead.
WAMP is still down, so all those things will be offline on the website, it may interfere with NH ( i do not know). Looking at my asic, the pool is mining fine at the moment
Yes it’s just cosmetic on the front end. Pool operating just fine and when WAMP restored balances will update, Chris posted that he was working on the WAMP connection
anyone know about GLD issues? "GLD has broken difficulty retarget algorithm (it reject blocks instead of difficulty recalculation) and therefore very inefficiently for mining. It can’t accept hashrate more than 1/2 of GLD network hashing power. Once again. This coin mining is very ineffective, mine it at your risk and only if you know what you do."
steve can you dynamic gzip compression ? I had a similar issue transmitting huge JSON objects in the past and that did the trick... its quick and effective
i don’t see how the wamp can work at all under these circumstances... wasn’t its purpose to broadcast live data to to one’s internal servers...ir not to the whole world at one time? google and amazon don’t even update data to externals every second
right on the prohashing pages...we can’t sacrifice the usability of prohashing pages live data for the few programmers and bots over the world simply "stealing" valuable dat
@fattygrub : anyone browsing the forums connects to WAMP, on every page be it forum thread or main page. Multiple tabs on your browser, multiple same-time connects to the data flow.
@ kirrrrrr: i know personally that driving blindly on rentals will leave you severely disappointed.
Depends - if it's NH I've found that monitoring their graph is fine, if values look good, low delta, low "extra rewards" etc. then things are ok on PH side as well. Be sure, the moment there's an issue with the mining server the NH graph will go wild
i don’t agree.. i’ve watched since early am on NH that they were waaaaay above prohashing live profitability .... so yeeah everything can look ok on NH graphs burnin g along at 10G’s meanwhile you’re losing $0.50 per second
I surely have better things to do than monitor that in real time though - I look at an average over many hours, and occasionally check the graph to be sure there are no big system issues
@ fattygrub - I do know what you mean about the NH Fixed Order prices being way up and out of synch today . . seems the NH bots that are setting prices need a period of time to settle back down, the slow trend over the day has downwards, hopefully if PH WAMP could manage to stay online we'd see the prices settle back somewhere in the 0.03xx range
@fattygrub yeah same for me, three weeks ago i made +700% in 7 days with, but since one or two weeks i get the feeling the bots are grindings the edges too hard, theres not much so get anymore
