lilbob · Tue Jun 13, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #6092
the can increase hash power of products, but they cannot compete with grid orbs gblade level equipmentthat would be pointless, eth is already mined
frphm · Tue Jun 13, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #6093
I know it’d be short lived, but still
n00bminer · Tue Jun 13, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #6094
yes it would be worth mining ltc

the value is not in the statistics, it is in the potential value it has when social engineering is involved. if you want to start a revolution, you do not need weapons, you need a tool box

if 1337’s wallets are finaly working after these 3 days of mishaps, the river will run smoother again
lilbob · Wed Jun 14, 2017 01:40 AM UTC · #6149
theres about 100 million dollars tied up in 1337, cause it was sooooo good to depass the btc and ltc fee charges/limits

G*d damn these nicehash bots... no sooner do I place an order at a really good price, than all of the hashing power at that price point dries up. ARGH! >:-(
VanessaEzekowitz · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:47 AM UTC · #6166
It’s a quite low-speed order actually, at least compared to the median. capped at 400 MH/sec
Konov · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:50 AM UTC · #6167
If bot passes you, your speed is to big for him
VanessaEzekowitz · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:55 AM UTC · #6168
...or my price is too low for it. I know the bots are tracking prices from some source: I sat here earlier and gradually ticked up my price, one step at a time. Every time I raised my price, the bots raised theirs to outbid me by a tiny amount. Once or twice, I could see that being a coincidence -- until I decided to see how far it would go. I kept bumping my price up, and getting outbid by the bots, and after about 15 such iterations, I ended up at literally the highest price on the list (of course I canceled the order at that point and re-created it at a more reasonable price).
Konov · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:56 AM UTC · #6169
I bet, if you will make 10ghs order, the bot will not pass you
VanessaEzekowitz · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:57 AM UTC · #6170
So I don’t know what the bots are using as their basis for asking price, but I am 100% convinced they are tracking placed orders and outbidding in an attempt to raise the price floor to a point where they won’t be outbid.
VanessaEzekowitz · Wed Jun 14, 2017 05:57 AM UTC · #6171
10 GH/s? I can’t do orders that big right now.
