if i compare current balances with past few days, it does not look like any x11 revenue has been assigned, as it is very similar to Scrypt only that i was using until yesterday evening.

BenjiRolls has only a 17% orphan rate, so I think you were just mining at a time of high orphanage. It happens sometimes when another high-hashrate pool joins in when a coin has a profitable period.
Guys, I notice that when a miner switches coin the 2hr share count resets to 0 and the miner hash rate value reverts back to a "calculating hashrate" status, i.e nil. A secondary effect is that the Live Worker Status then reports that the miner is no longer active (subtracts the re-starting miner/s from the aggregate) and the total hashrate drops as well. Is this intended?
Actually, I think some of what I’m seeing is the result of the A4 software <2.0.3 ’getwork’ failure reboot bug as I’ve only upgraded about 1/2 of my miners so far. So that explains the Live Worker Status, but if that is true then I’m seeing a lot more getwork failures (reboots) than I used too and the other observations below remain correct for coin changes.
Yep, my earning page is looking like the early days of owning A4s, I’ve got miners restarting all over the place, some are reboots and some are miner restarts, but the nett effect is that miner status and hashrate are all over the place. A4’s don’t like this either. I run mine @815Mv and every now and then a card will not restart and I’ll need to reboot the miner. I’ve been wathcing for the past 6 hours since getting home and it’s looking really messy and profit destroying.
Chris+Steve_: Thanks for reflecting on x11 issue. While i see 70% lower eranings compared to days ago, x11 looks not to have made any penny, even i was 80% of time solo-mining and had dozens of block founded notifications.

- I CONFIRM the SAME.
That implies that the miner was disconnected from the server and reconnected. I’ll see if I can figure out why they are disconnecting.

confirming, I see the a4’s disconnecting/reconnecting from the server too.

Thanks. I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue on other miners, and this is what’s so frustrating about trying to test this before release. I’m going to eat something, and we have a proposed solution that Chris will release in an hour or two to see what happens.
so if you have balances of other coins in your wallet, your only option is to get a wallet for that coin and then deposit it right? There is no way to sell the currencies from within the system?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer currency conversion for legal reasons, so you will have to get a wallet for those coins. Since all coins on this pool are traded on exchanges, you should be able to find an exchange that offers a wallet.
I am confused though, is that not what is being done on the primary side, specifying no coin in particular, PPS? Consolidating/converting currencies? I appologize in advance I am new here.
Yes, we do trading like that in the background. The issue is entirely due to the way the law is written. If we made trades at a customer’s request, then we would be considered a broker, which has its own set of legal requirements. If customers can only choose which coins in which they want to be paid but have no input on when or where trades occur, then we are paying contractors (users) for their services (hashrate) in the eyes of the law.
specifically, i mean at the miner level so as that you never actually own the solo mined coin, but a process otherwise identical to the PPS model is used for the output currency
We don’t offer exactly that. You can use "c=" to mine a single coin through PPS and get paid in another coin, but it won’t pay per block. And "m=solo’ will pay per block but you can’t convert to another coin.
Chris is investigating people who reported issues with profit - I think that a regression caused a decline of a few percent that we can correct - but unfortunately a lot of miners came online yesterday from Jihan Wu and that’s causing difficulties to go up across the board
seperate issue entirely... but since you guys are expanding to X11, why not sha256? Alot of people have old miners that might reactivate them if they had a lower difficulty sha256d altcoin to hunt after
hi to all, sorry for my bad english, i have start to mine with x11 baikal, how many time for see the result of mining? i see "calculate hashrate" from more of 20 minutes, thanks
