Hi there! I’ve been using Gminer for over a full month. in a single PC. Just experimenting with mining. Is there a better mining softwre out there? I’ve found too much info, and I’m a bit overloaded right now...

The Texas electrical grid can’t handle people using their AC right now if Bitcoin mining becomes a thing there the whole thing might implode!
Dont get me started. We’ve been told to keep our thermostats at 82 while sleeping.

Woops, forgot to add to that quote, I use phoenixminer. I’ve looked into gminer vs phoenixminer vs nsfminer vs excavator. I can confidently say I’ve read anecdotal reports suggesting all of them are better than the other. And the differences are so nominal it doesn’t even matter. For example with gminer and phoenixminer, you pay a "dev fee" every so often by mining a share for the developer. But nsfminer which has no fees, is reportedly worse than any of the other options in terms of hashrate... So I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

On another note I followed the guides for GPU and CPU mining (instead of using Awesome Miner) and holy cow that was super easy! Right now I am mining Monero on my cruddy CPU and ETH on my 3060ti and it seems way more efficient! Might try out something else later (I would love to mine some Sha-256 or Equihash which never worked well on Awesome)

Those two are already asic mined, so you won’t earn much if at all.

I’ve been using PhoenixMiner. The hashrates have been about the same, but I prefer the information you get back from the Phoenixminer UI.
manthere is just no bottom for the Crypto market right now...and this push to get the China miners to the US is definitely not the answer it is going to massive screw up our grids and electrical prices (well not mine they aint coming to Minnesota) this is going to getugly
for those of you that mine Equihash (not 144 or low mem) how are you doing it? Can you do it with a computer or is it impossible and if you can what miner do you use?
Hello everyone, new here. What would be an appropriate place to post a question remark about the wonderful Prohashing Guide on earning interest in Crypto ?

either here or in the "system support and feedback" section I would think
Man my earnings are way down the last 24 hours...well below the numbers the charts are saying. I tried switching to an Equihash miner but can never get them to work

Same here , noticed thats its in error but it didn’t switch to the back up. I wonder if its still collecting. Can someone with a account make a ticket, i dont want to have to create a third account just make a ticket

Steven Godshall wrote: Kucoin locked their Polygon wallet, which caused the error. We might need to add / switchover to Bittrex markets.
Ah ok. what about the amount thats been mined , will that still be paid out when its corrected i have a bout a $1.70 difference in my daily total what was allocated to polygon.
Payouts (if eligible) will resume when the coin is no longer in error. Earnings while a coin is in error go to your other payout proportions or the "backup coin" if none are available.

So my question is ’how would you say SwissBorg compare to the others staking platform?’ It was recommended to me but I’m a bit wary of their mobile only approach and withdrawal fees. on theother hand they do offer a variety of coin and are on the market for several years.
Having problem linking up my Innosilicon scrypt miners with prohashing. Connections keep showing up as dead. I’m sure it’s a problem on my end, but I don’t know what. I used the configurator and I’ve used this site for years but I am having some weird issues on my home network but configuring the pools is so straight forward and the miners are both working on nicehash (of all places)
I dunno but the weird thing I had going was that when I was using Gminer directly on my cop my earnings were next to nothing. Switched back to Awesome Miner and used Gminer and they are back up to "ok" numbers.
Is there any intent to create an app to track prohashing activities remotely without using a website that you have to log into every time in an attempt to draw those China displaced miners?

The CheckPool app already provides this functionality
@Steve, not sure how to start a new thread, but I have *LOVED* your interest-on-crypto posts. I’m happy to be at a level where I can work with Genesis directly, but I *think* that I should be also considering staking my ETH. Would you ever consider doing a post comparing staking services? From things like Avado to Dappnode, through All Nodes, and down to Coinbase & Kraken, I’d really respect your research. Is this something you’d be interested in? I’d chip in for your research time, but I’m just one reader...

When I first started out I did UFO, and IIRC I would find multiple blocks a day.
Anyone checked out that helium "mining"? I think I’m going to check it out. Low investment cost, but you have to wait 12-20 weeks to get equipment, it’s so backlogged.

Not worth wasting your money since they’re going staking July7th

yeah it looks like a decent idea but not really worth it to jump in now
That’s why I’m getting frustrated with prohashing misleading with the payout for digibyte, then getting no payment on ANY coin for two whole hours just killed my electric cost for the day.
yes, rebooting the rig started payouts again, but prohashing has to get back to me as why I didn’t get anything for those hours that my rig completed 800 shares with no monies.
2 gpu rigs (approx 1,000+ watts each) an A4+, an A6 and a z11 plus my house and my Mom’s apartment. Probably $800 of that is mining, but we just went to summer rates where they jack up the price of electricity.

yeah, our rates are too hard to explain. You get real cheap electrricity for the first 400kw then another rate for the next 400kw or so but anything over that just went to $.149. I just changed my rate schedule tho to a timed one. I have to pay .18 during peak hours (60 hrs/week) but only pay .06 during off peak (108 hrs/wk).
