Can we get support for more gpu friendly algorithms?

I have 35 cpu miners running the RandomX algo, all my miners are pointed at my proxy miner which is pointed at Prohashing.com. The pool at Prohashing keeps disappearing and says that the RandomX Algo is not available. Is there some kind of problem going on? I hate the thought of having to go back to Nicehash to keep my miners working. :-(

-MaVerick- · · #97215

-MaVerick- · · #97216

long story short, yeah miners make a break from time to time, more memory is on the way to solve the issue

bMeister1 · · #97217

The randomx algorthim appears to have ground to a halt thanks to being unable to get blocks from the daemon. That wouldn’t be related to the server RAM issues would it?

mustex · · #97218

I’m not sure if it was due to the RAM issue, but it seems RandomX is back up and running again.

is there a way to have more than 2 workers? I had 3 connected and submitting shares but i got an error notice telling me I was only allowed 2.

Steven Godshall · · #97222

DGB-scrypt had chain issues, reindexing should complete in some hours.

Does that mean the mining is down for PPLNS?

Rivve · · #97226

Ethash down?

mustex · · #97227

My already running ETH/ETC miners are running fine, but I cannot connect new miners due to timeouts on the conection attempts.

Rivve · · #97228

Yeah, updated my miner and now I cant connect with either the new or old version, just timing out

SpaceCase418 · · #97229

connection time out here too

Rivve · · #97230

Connecting to eu.prohashing.com worked

ElectricEnigma · · #97231

same here with ethash not connecting.

Steven Godshall · · #97232

Are people still experiencing Ethash issues?

Steven Godshall · · #97233

If so, could you submit a ticket and provide your IP so we can investigate?

TragicMiner · · #97234

ethash broken?

Steven Godshall · · #97235

We are investigating right now

TragicMiner · · #97236

0k :D

Steven Godshall · · #97237

This issue might only be affecting some ethash users. Chris is working on fixing it now

Steven Godshall · · #97238

Chris said it should be fixed now. Can anyone confirm?

ElectricEnigma · · #97239

my miners were running fine when i got home from work, I shutdown to add new gpu and couldnt reconnect to server.

ElectricEnigma · · #97240

all good now

ElectricEnigma · · #97241

Thanks Steven and Chris!

TragicMiner · · #97242

i did the exact same lol

TragicMiner · · #97243

works! great job!

ShmooJew · · #97244

Also working here again.

ShmooJew · · #97245

Odds 4:1 muffed firewall rule?

mustex · · #97246

Thanks for the quick fix! All my miners are working again.

ShmooJew · · #97247

Also - while we’re at it, the sign-up for support isn’t working. Page just loads interminably. This work for anyone else? https://jira.prohashing.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/user/signup

ShmooJew · · #97248

Steven Godshall wrote: If so, could you submit a ticket and provide your IP so we can investigate?
...the above broken support portal signup makes ticket submission a little tricky.

I think I’ve heard a few report of this issue, but I could not reproduce it. Does it happen if you try in a different browser or disable extensions?

ShmooJew · · #97250

Tried different browser (Ff/Chrome), no joy.

Steven Godshall · · #97251

If you open the developers console (CTRL+SHIFT+I), do any noticeable errors appear?

Steven Godshall · · #97252

The support system runs on the Atlassian Jira Service Management software, so I’m not sure what could be causing the issue from our end and how we should troubleshoot.

ShmooJew · · #97253

Indeed. Some deprecated JS functions... "DEPRECATED JS - PopulateParameters has been deprecated since 9.0.0 and will be removed in 10.0.0."

Steven Godshall · · #97254

I think those are just warnings, I get those too

ShmooJew · · #97255

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 () /rest/servicedesk/1/customer/models:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 ()

ShmooJew · · #97256

Oh the irony of not being able to submit an image via the support portal...

Steven Godshall · · #97257

Ok that seems more indicative of an error, I’ll check with Chris and the team and see what we can find.

ShmooJew · · #97258

ShmooJew · · #97259

Sorry for the noise.

Steven Godshall · · #97260

Ok thanks. Normally we’d talk about this in a ticket instead of here, but obviously you can’t access the support system. Do you get the same issue if you try on a mobile device or use a different internet connection?

Steven Godshall · · #97261

Chris restarted the server that hosts the Jira Support system to see if that helps your issue.

ShmooJew · · #97262

Interesting. Does work on mobile. Not on PC, on any browser.

Steven Godshall · · #97263

What about trying incognito mode, disabling browser plugins, or clearing cache (CTRL + F5)?

ShmooJew · · #97264

Incognito works, and can force outside of incognito to load a single page by clearing cache, but then back to hanging. Not running anything exotic extensions-wise.

ShmooJew · · #97265

Can’t login via incognito - so seems to be the same, some kind of cache weirdness. Anyway, time maxed on this for now.

Steven Godshall · · #97266

Ok. It sounds like this this issue is individual issue with your browser / system. Other people aren’t having issues with the support site.

Marduke · · #97267

Hmmm Having problems connecting to the X17 algo suddenly. Multiple miners, multiple computers, 3 diff. sioftware.

dhandler01 · · #97268

ETH miners are giving me all sorts of issues of late. Almost every miner is giving me rejects except NB Miner. Phoenix Miner gives me "incorrect" eth shares, T-Rex rejected lkke 650 shares this evening and the rest either dont connect or reject everything. Is there some issue?

blue3 · · #97269

I have a small problem with payout. Since i put 100% for dogecoin, but sometimes, just sometimes, I earned a very small portion of Litecoin. It wont be a problem for me it’s noticable.

Macky82 · · #97270

its only does that when the coins are down

IcemanNZL · · #97271

so mining servers are broke right now?

nyancat · · #97272

Looks like so, I can’t connect to the pool and the status on the top of the forum all reports zero.

IcemanNZL · · #97273

Awesome. Someone wake Steve up lol

nyancat · · #97274

I can’t do that from here, I guess

IcemanNZL · · #97275

Don’t think so

nyancat · · #97276

It’s alive!

IcemanNZL · · #97277

yay

nyancat · · #97278

Damn, it felt good to see the workers pop from 19 to hundreds and thousands and finally 10k

ForumMax25x · · #97279

So what happened? Did the servers decide to go to sleep too?

nyancat · · #97280

Had a little nap I suppose

nyancat · · #97281

My best guess is it somehow crashed, but some sort of self-recovery script made it restart shortly

Macky82 · · #97282

anyone here use unmineable

ForumMax25x · · #97283

My sha-256 antminer says: Socket connect failed: Connection refused

Banished_Privateer · · #97284

lots of mining connection issues atm

Banished_Privateer · · #97285

works atm, but got stopped 3 times earlier

Banished_Privateer · · #97286

and my mining has changed to backup coin LTC, Doge seems to be in error

Steve Sokolowski · · #97288

That’s right - that mining server restarted at 5:52am due to running out of memory

Steve Sokolowski · · #97289

the memory issues are expected to be resolved in three days, once we get new memory in the mail

Steve Sokolowski · · #97290

we know how to solve the problem - we just don’t have the part onsite now

ElectricEnigma · · #97291

polygon, cardano, and several others are in error...

Steve Sokolowski · · #97292

ElectricEnigma wrote: polygon, cardano, and several others are in error...
We’re not aware of any issues with these coins - feel free to submit a support ticket if you have any individual problems

Banished_Privateer wrote: and my mining has changed to backup coin LTC, Doge seems to be in error
We’re not aware of any dogecoin mining issues; please submit a support ticket if you believe that you are encountering issues with dogecoins

Rivve · · #97294

Half of my daily earned has been credited out in LTC instead of ADA/RVN/BNB, seems to be working again now though

Banished_Privateer · · #97295

The errors are short-term, I usually get like 0.01$ worth of LTC or 0.02-0.03$

Banished_Privateer · · #97296

They come and quickly go away, so not much of a concern

-MaVerick- · · #97297

Yeah the LTC bug is strong today

LandUzu · · #97298

My rig is no longer mining the selected primary coin (RVN) and has been mining the backup coin (LTC) What has happened? Do i need to move to a different pool now to mine Ravencoin?

-MaVerick- · · #97299

you could read that text below, should answer your first question as RVN is mentioned. As for the 2. one, I dunno, up to you

-MaVerick- · · #97300

it is an annoying bug though, seeing that half of the LTC I kinda dont want have been generated today...with 0% payout. but i will wait, just like a good Doge holder

sonicrules · · #97301

It looks like BCH and USDC are in error right now

-MaVerick- · · #97302

or it’s Litecoin day! We just forgot about it

sonicrules · · #97303

Lol

-MaVerick- · · #97304

Voting for Dogecoin day tomorrow!

TragicMiner · · #97305

xmr rig down :|

sergiokaminsky575 · · #97306

site with error mining all currencies at the moment??? minus LTC

bMeister1 · · #97307

I’m having the same issue with XMR. Status page says there are errors with the exchanges.

sergiokaminsky575 · · #97308

help please

bMeister1 · · #97309

Strangely my ETC miner also won’t connect, but if I switch it over to Equihash 144_5, works great. I’d swap my CPU over to Scrypt but 200KH/s is laughably slow.
