@Steve - Quick question for you.. Any chance we’ll be seeing Aeternity return to the payout list?

srossman wrote: @Steve - Quick question for you.. Any chance we’ll be seeing Aeternity return to the payout list?
Is Aeternity one of the coins that switched from ERC20 token to a private blockchain?

srossman · · #92525

Yes, I believe they’ve launched their own blockchain

srossman · · #92526

Leafpool now has mining for Aeternity

Steve Sokolowski · · #92527

unfortunately, if they launched their own blockchain, then it will take too much effort for us to implement payouts in it unless it’s a top 20 coin

Steve Sokolowski · · #92528

srossman wrote: Leafpool now has mining for Aeternity
I looked at this pool - could you link to me where aeternity is mined?

srossman · · #92530

I started collecting Aeternity through Prohasing.. the coin was marked by your system as "No custom threshold set and default currently unavailable".. I think the coin’s got some potential and would love to see it back on your payout list. I have a small amount sitting in ProHashing limbo. If there’s a way to bring this one back someday, I’d say it’s worth looking into. Thanks Steve. :)

srossman · · #92531

apologies on the typos.. my fingers move faster than my eyes sometimes :)

Steve Sokolowski · · #92532

you should know that the removal of the coin from the list is not a reflection upon its potential - it’s just because it isn’t compatible with the standard API commands anymore, and therefore it would require a lot of effort to write code to support it

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92533

Is it normal while solo mining, that nearly 30% of shares are classified as suboptimal?

Steve Sokolowski · · #92534

we will be holding a big meeting on July 3 and 4 to plan out features for the next several months, and one idea is to hire a college intern to do things like add coins and algorithms

Steve Sokolowski · · #92535

CryptoCoinLLC wrote: Is it normal while solo mining, that nearly 30% of shares are classified as suboptimal?
it depends on which coin you’re mining

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92536

DGB to be specific

Steve Sokolowski · · #92537

let me review the shares your miners are submitting to see

Steve Sokolowski · · #92538

what is the username of your account?

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92539

CryptoCoinLLC is my username. Thanks Steve

Steve Sokolowski · · #92540

I’m looking now

Steve Sokolowski · · #92541

at what exact time did you notice the suboptimal rate was high?

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92542

I noted a very high suboptimal rate several days ago actually

Steve Sokolowski · · #92543

what exact time did it occur?

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92544

Well, that’s a great question. I am unsure on an exact time.

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92545

Several days ago however

Steve Sokolowski · · #92546

I didn’t detect that the suboptimal rate was high in the past few hours, so the only way to investigate will be to find out the exact time it happened

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92547

Interesting. The dashboard showed nearly a 100% suboptimal rate for several days of consistent solo mining DGB. I’ll see if I can pinpoint when the suboptimal rate begun happening and report back with any findings.

Steve Sokolowski · · #92548

ok

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92549

Thank you for the help anyhow, Steve. Much appreciated

Steve Sokolowski · · #92550

I’m going to go for a bike ride, so please submit a support ticket once you figure out the exact time period

Steve Sokolowski · · #92551

I want to figure this out, but without the time period there won’t be much that can be done

Steve Sokolowski · · #92552

talk to you later

CryptoCoinLLC · · #92553

I sure will. Thanks. Enjoy the ride!

The best place to ask is to make a post in the "mining rig and connectivity support" forum - unfortunately, I’m not an expert at that miner but someone will surely be able to help you there

We’re not aware of any fixable issues. There are a lot of coins offline, but Yobit frequently locks its wallets and we can’t trade in those coins when the wallets are locked

The wallets for these coins are locked at all exchanges. Feel free to submit support tickets to Binance and to Bittrex asking them to unlock their wallets, and we’ll re-enable them immediately

to which section are you referring? I’m not sure what you mean by the term "yield" - are you referring to the live profitability chart?

@psylocyber.. sorry to hear you’re having the same problem. The problem is still happening for me too. I’ve tried loading the support page on 2 different computers using 3 different browsers and no luck. I’m having a payout issue with my EOS payments and I can’t send any support tickets. I phoned and left a voicemail for Chris the other day. He was kind of enough to call me back.. but I don’t want to use the ProHashing phone number for support inquiries. Not sure exactly how to proceed. Steve.. if you read this, drop me a note and let me know what I should do here. I don’t want to keep bothering your brother with phone calls over deposit issues. He has too much on his plate for that nonsense. Thanks.
