I’m looking into the issue now; it looks like there’s also a second unrelated issue where balance updates aren’t being received normally; that’s also under investigation
Dr_Soos wrote: Steve, I love the work that you guys do here, but you’re completely dillusional if you’re telling people the hashrates are fixed. 165 K/Sols total per day does not equal 74 cents USD per day and so far only 2 cents as of nearly 9 hours of mining today. Nevermind two days ago when I recieved half a payout when the crash occured. I have submitted support tickets, you claimed the problems were fixed, they aren’t, please do something to fix it. Your workers are fleeing as evidence by the total count being 12,000 opposed to 24,000 from two months ago. Whatever your fixes have been lately is doing damage to my miners by causing them to short cycle on the restarts. They randomly hang up everytime you try to reset the server after a "fix".
If you feel that you have to mine elsewhere, I understand; however, we’re investigating the issue, and share corrections have always been issued when balance problems have been found
Heres my earning for the last 7 days on PH, yesterday first, going back in time: $11.66, $15.12, $15.77, $16.97, $17.56, $18.24 and $17.54. So yesterday I earned $11.66. Moved all my machines to a new pool and this is what is expected: Next payout 2019-01-22 12:30 Payout amount 0.00569070 BTC 20.17 USD

The equihash issue has been resolved, but it turns out that there are additional share corrections that are necessary, so Chris is going to execute those later today
I did a comparison that way yesterday for scrypt to investigate another issue and found that for scrypt, Nicehash’s profitability is reported as 1% lower than here

Could you post a screenshot of the other pool’s dashboard that shows this amount so I can investigate? Thanks

Could you submit a support ticket about this issue? We’re not aware of any remaining widespread issues, so we’ll need to gather more information specific to your case
I think what you’re seeing is normal - the purpose of the release was to reduce the difficulties displayed by the pool to be in line with how other pools treated equihash difficulties

if it’s equihash mining, I noticed that luck was very low, so there might have been some sort of problem - but even if so, you’ll still get to keep a third of that due to the bonus policy

I was just looking at Daily Total Miner Earnings, where it went from 19.7K on the 23 to 34K on the 24. 50% payout growth in just 1 day.
/Anyone else having any issues making changes to their payout address section? Every time I make a change and try to save it, I get a message saying "You may not delete Litecoin or the default backup coin from payout address".. (I wasn’t doing either) but get that message every time. Anyone seeing anything similar?

That’s true. Litecoins are used as a coin of last resort to pay you if no other coins are available
Hi Steve. Yes, I understand the litecoin last resort thing.. I was actually dusting a balance of a few cents on a completely unrelated coin I no longer get paid out in when I got that message. Which led me to try changing a couple of payout amounts and no matter what I tried to change, I got that message about deleting Litecoin.
As per the support desk.. when attempting to login.. the system just hangs. Tried on 2 separate computers with different browsers and 2 separate internet connections to be safe. Couldn’t log in on either.
@srossman it is possible you are using incorrect login details for the support desk. It doesn’t use your login details from the main site. Have you created a support account, and if so, are you making sure you use the correct details?

Work is still ongoing to resolve the ETH and Monero issues - we have not yet been able to determine the cause and will update people when we have more information

I am having trouble connecting to equihash with nicehash. I get this error: Resolving pool host prohashing.com... OK Establishing connection with proxy... OK Establishing connection with pool ... OK Sending mining.subscribe... OK Sending mining.authorize... OK Error: Result array size not 2.
I can actually mine with nicehash when the order is profitable, but when it’s not profitable, it goes dead and soon gets canceled. Orders have to be alive at least 50% of the time to not get canceled.

We’re aware of that error and haven’t been able to get an explanation from Nicehash about it
I noticed that all of the Equihash miners switched to Zcash when Zen was more profitable. Why did that happen? Do the miners still get paid what Zen should be paying?

Do you mean horizen? If so, how much difference was there between the profitabilities of the two coins at the time? If it’s a small difference, then the difference in work restart frequency may have outweighed the small profitability improvement
