if there is no way to exchange them or get profits from them, not sure there would be any incentive to devote the manpower to adding them to the pool. There are other issues that could be worked on to increase profits and make sure payments are sent out.

I agree with @CSZiggy - adding STEX would increase the range of alt coins which could be mined. Adding CN would also be fantastic for me personally.

@alim : if you check the LTC on the LIVE COIN STATUS, stex is already an exchange that is being used to find prices - buy/sell coins.
