S9 is not intended for mining algo scrypt
I understand that but I think the guy setting up the S9 miner has trouble with english or "cognitive" instructions
I know thats exactly what I gave..but the 1st time he had issues he admitted he added in a=sha256 in there as well, even tho he had 3335 as the port specific for sha-256
i think the website needs to be updated..cause that is confusing where as it has algo specific ports, but then at the same time has the a="algo" flag in there too for port 3333
I get the count down like it’s going to happen, then it resets and starts over with an additional day’s payouts due. If I don’t get it by end of day, I’m moving to slushpool until it’s fixed.
@mad4mining i had that happen a couple times, message support or wait, i think i had a payment go 48 hours then finally it paid off on its own here earlier today
prohashing.com:3333 and password "a=sha-256 m=solo c=BitcoinCash" should solo mine bitcoincash for you, you have to enter in an address for the payout, you cant solo mine 1 coin and get paid in another.
Sorry for the dumb question: Assuming the price of a coin is a factor in the coins profitability calculation... If a coins price doubles, wll your mining reward double too? Does a jump in a coins price mean an increase in mining reward? Thanks.
I think you guys are missing the most profitable Lyra2v2 coin. It has a larger block reward than the other lyra2v2 coins combined. Can anyone find what it is? The block height is 126264 and difficulty is 364327
@CSZiggy : You can see what the people are mining. There is some Lyra2v2 coin with a massive block reward that very few people have heard of. It is certainly more profitable than the other lyra2v2 coins because NiceHash is paying more than what they are worth.

Please submit a support ticket if you can figure out what this coin is so that Chris can add it
@jde : can you provide a link to the page that shows what people are mining? I’ve seen nicehash pages that show what they are paying for your hashrates, but I’ve never seen a page that shows what coins are being mined by the hashrate being sold.
@jde : Nicehash doesn’t pay more than it’s worth, the people buying the hashing power are paying MORE than its worth. Nicehash isn’t a pool, its a market place to match buyers and sellers of hashing power to use on OTHER pools.
@Tomas_Novak : when you look over some of those coins, the difficulty is in megs, not gigs or TH/s, and likely won’t be appearing on this pool as any 1 person would push the profits of those coins to 0 in 1 block found.
Hey @Steve Sokolowski. I’ve been playing with the new Brave browser and love how it limits popups and ads. One of the features is free BAT tokens each month that can be distributed to website owners. I noticed it picked up Prohashing as a top site for me since I often open a tab to monitor my earnings. Are you set up to receive BAT tokens from the Brave browser? I have 25 BAT tokens and they’re all yours if you want, but they are paid through the browser (not sure how they do that). If you have the browser look under Preferences >> Payments. Maybe even encourage miners to help support your site....just a thought.
@mad4mining : Never heard of BRAVE browser before but after reading about it, almost seems criminal. Replacing ads on pages with their own ads, basically plagurizing other sites work and getting paid for people using their browser. Just install a pop-up blocker, don’t support web ad theft.
Some of these coins have extremely low trade volumes, so they can’t be mined - and others have locked wallets, so it’s not as positive as it seems at first

The Brave browser rewards content creators directly ..not the advertisers that track and monitor your "clicks". It’s the safest new browser that protects personal information. Ever clicked on an ad for a blender or pair of shoes ...then it shows in 90% of ads on the next 1000 websites you visit? Brave prevents this. It’s the new fav for the next generation (although it doesn’t run all extensions) Give it a try. You’ll be surprised how clean and efficient it is. The BAT token is reward for content creators and users control who gets the reward rather than getting his with a 100 click bait ads.
@kamal872001 - I believe Steve started a thread at 6:44am this morning (almost 8 hours ago) that there would be system things going on. It’s under the News section
