Justmining254 · · #88859

Same here i already put a ticket.

Nicehash connected to the X11 algorithm of the prohashing mining pool, a large number of rejections, 50% to 100% rejection rate, the mine pool is close to death, has been 3 consecutive days! Please resolve as soon as possible.

CSZiggy · · #88861

@o51888 :  what settings are you using? Just autopool settings on X11?

lacik · · #88862

Im stopped mining too. I used standard setiings fo X11: p

lacik · · #88863

port 3334 and x as password and also port 3334 and d=512 g=off. I see no difference in mining stability, which is very bad

o51888 · · #88864

Various parameters are used, no difference, the connection is unstable

We’re not aware of any system-wide issues; feel free to submit a support ticket and Chris will be glad to assist you

mikeu · · #88869

why is it that i can get paid out it tittiecoin and sexcoin but not in cardano? does anyone want to venture a guess

holygoof · · #88870

My thoughts on that Mikeu are that it just takes a little longer, i had enough BAT other day, but it went a 3rd day and it all came

holygoof · · #88871

not sure why necessarily, but seems to be the case now and again

cloaker · · #88872

scrypt server down?

cloaker · · #88873

already coming back was a quickie it appears

ryguy · · #88874

Is the mining pool offline?

PolakCrypto · · #88875

is it back? i pool jumped

cloaker · · #88876

i’m having trouble with any miner in solo mode but i see blocks being found in scrypt on the main page

cloaker · · #88877

once i went into merge mining mode my miners came back

cloaker · · #88878

tried solo again - does not show my miner in solo mode

cloaker · · #88879

solo mode coming back online now

cloaker · · #88880

definite probs....scrypt miners down again...i’m not checking if its just in solo mode...taking tooo much time for this stuff today

cloaker · · #88881

already back on so maybe your server is getting too hot cuz its flaking out lol!!

Steve Sokolowski · · #88882

nope, the virtual machine just shut down for an unknown reason

Steve Sokolowski · · #88883

it was shut off, but Chris upgraded the mining server at the same time, so things should work better now anyway

Steve Sokolowski · · #88884

this never happened before, so he’ll have to figure out what the cause was

JonSmith · · #88885

sha256 solo mode killing my miner, any thoughts?

What stratum does prohashing use? Python, unomp, yiimp, miningcore? Or something else?

cloaker · · #88888

since stratum is a protocol and not a coding language are you asking if they use a merged pool for unop, a multi currency for mingcore etc?

cloaker · · #88889

im going to guess its pyton based mining strat here but good question

Steve Sokolowski · · #88890

cloaker wrote: im going to guess its pyton based mining strat here but good question
None of these answers is correct - this is all custom software; none of those publicly available projects is able to do what we need it to do

davidsin · · #88891

Hey how does the ’asic resistance’ of equihash impact the hashrate of a Z9 mini on prohashing, if at all?

cloaker · · #88892

that’s great to know..... did that answer your question Jde ? everything is custom lol

CSZiggy · · #88893

davidsin wrote: Hey how does the ’asic resistance’ of equihash impact the hashrate of a Z9 mini on prohashing, if at all?
If the coin is EQUIHASH then not at all. But if the coin is changing to a modified Equihash algo then it wont be findable with the Z9 minis.

davidsin · · #88894

Are there any updates on how imminent the changes could be?

ryguy · · #88895

Am I imagining things or did bitcoin block profitability drop significantly today?

ryguy · · #88896

@davidsin :  I’m pretty sure they’d have to be setup as separate algorithms

CSZiggy · · #88897

davidsin wrote: Are there any updates on how imminent the changes could be?
I could be wrong, but I think the TRON coin already did that, jumped to a modified algo and was stopped here because they arent making a special modified algo for each and every coin. if it doesnt conform, it wont be minable here, so Z9s should be fine, but the coins might become limited.

davidsin · · #88898

thanks guys

Steve Sokolowski · · #88899

ryguy wrote: Am I imagining things or did bitcoin block profitability drop significantly today?
The bitcoin block profitability dropped because the orphan rate for bitcoins increased because a bitcoin block was orphaned during the share corrections period

Steve Sokolowski · · #88900

but since that is not a typical occurrence and happened due to a bug, Chris adjusted the orphan rate to reflect normal mining conditions and it will rise back up again soon

ryguy · · #88901

Thanks Steve

We don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t, but we’re going to investigate it tomorrow to make sure

Just put in a ticket. Solo mining bitcoin on S9 is showing as a dead connection.

Steve Sokolowski · · #88919

the bitcoin client was one of the upgrades

Steve Sokolowski · · #88920

it’s rescanning its blocks and will be back within 1h

bmhamlet · · #88921

ok, thanks.

bmhamlet · · #88922

actually, it’s still dead

CSZiggy · · #88923

Yep, bitcoin cant attach to damon to get updated prices so its in error mode currently. Hopefully other coins are higher paying so it won't matter as much.

shakti7188 wrote: hi, how can i see average 24 hr hashrate of ech of my miner ?
That option isn’t available yet, but you can take the raw data from the 15-minute charts and average it out

cloaker · · #88929

@shak- pull up your miner’s =status= in it’s control panel and it will show you averages....5min/15min/1hr/25hr

cloaker · · #88930

how many shares/rejected/stale........MH/s in real time- what pool your connected to etc-all in the same screen

S3KshuN8 · · #88931

Any reason why my Goldcoin payout is still stuck?

CSZiggy · · #88932

@cloaker :  what the miner says, and what the pool records it at, are often 2 completely different numbers. Since you only get paid for what the pool says it receives, not what the miner sends out, The only way to do that SHAK, is to put each machine on its own account on PH site.

o51888 · · #88933

Nicehash is connected to the X11 of the prohashing mining pool. Various parameter settings have been tested. There have been a lot of rejections, 50%~100% rejection rate, and the mine pool is close to death. It has been many days in a row! Please resolve as soon as possible.

Why does nicehash allow D3 machines to overclock to 30 GB each, and toss 70% errors on the overclocks is a better question.

How do you know this?

CSZiggy · · #88951

@lacik :  they let you OC to whatever you want so if you want to OC to 30GH up form 19 you could, they don't care about the errors

minerproo · · #88958

balance is not updating but miners are mining.

@minerproo :  Share recorders aren’t running it appears (which seems to be a recurring issue)

minerproo · · #88960

@ryguy :  so we are loosing money?

ryguy · · #88961

@minerproo :  Not necessarily. Mining server still appears to be accepting work (or was until a few minutes ago), so any work done should get processed once everything comes back up. At least that’s my experience from previous occurances

akenharris · · #88962

my miners are not showing up on pro hashing but theyre all connected and my network is running fine, hmmm
