we are talking like 5 cents for 24 hours
blakeman12 · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:20 PM UTC · #75749
well that makes sense then tks
3Moose · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:44 PM UTC · #75751
@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> So wrap this up, m=pps c=Verge solo mines verge with profit 2% less than what I would expect if i were to mine verge straight m=solo
3Moose · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:44 PM UTC · #75752
I am paying 2% to not get zeroed out basically....
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:46 PM UTC · #75753
no it doesnt solo mine verge
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:47 PM UTC · #75754
it static mines it in the pool
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:47 PM UTC · #75755
m=solo would be solo mining
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:47 PM UTC · #75756
bascially you are just using c=coin as the password
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:47 PM UTC · #75757
it defaluits to pss, the same way it defaults to scrypt
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:48 PM UTC · #75758
you just take the coin payout in verge and then you get paid no matter if it goes orphaned or nor
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:48 PM UTC · #75759
but you pay a slightly higher fee to not get stuck with orphans
3Moose · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:55 PM UTC · #75760
Look what he wrote below Apple... not sure I agree... but i could be wrong.
3Moose · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:56 PM UTC · #75761
He wrote " Just use c=Verge and set your payout proportions to Verge 100%, and m=pps"
3Moose · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:56 PM UTC · #75762
I think I would be solo mining verge.
Helotours · Tue Jan 09, 2018 06:58 PM UTC · #75763
please fix ppc payouts, 3 day delay, ticket made = thanks!
blakeman12 · Tue Jan 09, 2018 07:02 PM UTC · #75764
yea 3Moose, u just wouldnt get a solo block full payout
fallingcurtain · Tue Jan 09, 2018 07:21 PM UTC · #75765

Just a cool chat topic: Even the little guy at 15Mhs can find the blocks. Found us a block of 12.5 bitcoinscrypt at a difficulty of 25,698,402. I am pretty happy
NiteshadeSc2 · Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:27 PM UTC · #75770
I know it isn’t worth a lot, but I am pretty happy about it
MrHollowPoints · Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:47 PM UTC · #75771
How much do you get for the solo mined block?
minersixtyniner · Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:29 PM UTC · #75776
any update on getting monero payouts resolved. waiting on 2.7 monero which is about 1k euro and it is not because it is an integrated address. it is a standard monero address

Why does ETH free threshold keep going up? Couple days ago $30, now randomly 100$
maheswaran · Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:35 PM UTC · #75778
My LTC payout is still uncleared even after it reaches the threshold. Any idea guys ?
maheswaran · Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:41 PM UTC · #75779
cryptobear wrote: Why does ETH free threshold keep going up? Couple days ago $30, now randomly 100$ You should check the coin value not the fiat value. ETH value is on the action now.
FastCashMining · Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:45 PM UTC · #75780
@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> thanks for the updates.
cryptobear · Tue Jan 09, 2018 11:48 PM UTC · #75781
That does not explain why I have to wait an extra 4 days for a payout.

It also went up from .03x eth to .078 looking at the ETH value alone. Just randomly upped over night.
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:15 AM UTC · #75783
Anyone know if you can use AWP++ to power a 1200 watt PC?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:17 AM UTC · #75784
@FastCashMining : i would say no
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:17 AM UTC · #75786
@FastCashMining : if you mean apw3 or 5++ from bitmain?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:17 AM UTC · #75788
gratz, thats 4500 back right?
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:18 AM UTC · #75789
oh i meant the psu that is common with antminers, 1200 w on 110v or 1600w on 220v?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:18 AM UTC · #75791
go get one a bit closer to 1500-3000
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:18 AM UTC · #75792
save some money on that overpriced thing
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:18 AM UTC · #75793
the PSU for the antminers, from bitmain only have PCI-E cables
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:18 AM UTC · #75794
i think id rather get 6 video cards, 2mobos, 2 psus, 2 ram sets, 2 etc and make 2 3 gpu miners, forget the asics
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:19 AM UTC · #75797
oh, its missing the 12pin or 16pin for the mobo
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:19 AM UTC · #75798
it would be a good power for all the external cards of a mining rig
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:19 AM UTC · #75799
plenty of PCI-E could run 2 to each of 5 cards, or power 10 individual plugged cards
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:20 AM UTC · #75801
could get extensions im sure? to extend power to the cards hanging or whatever?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:20 AM UTC · #75803
the cords were long enough to run to a L3+ from the side
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:21 AM UTC · #75804
the mining cards usually hand with a slot of air in between
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:21 AM UTC · #75805
im pleased that the d3 is actually doing something but from what some of you guys have said, GPU mining is probably the way to go now that all the AISCs are priced through the roof?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:21 AM UTC · #75806
so if you put the power in the middle could get cards above and below on either side
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:21 AM UTC · #75807
if you buy one direct and dont mind waiting 2 months
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:21 AM UTC · #75808
1500/1700 is still a decent price entry
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:22 AM UTC · #75809
paying 3K over that...you will never get that back.
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:22 AM UTC · #75810
but 2 months from now wont they be obsolete?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:22 AM UTC · #75811
in the future, everything will be obsolete.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:22 AM UTC · #75813
if you are always waiting for the next big thing, you wont ever pull the trigger on tech today
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:23 AM UTC · #75814
you are either an early adopter
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:23 AM UTC · #75816
sure but if you pull the trigger on a piece of tech you get in two months thats already dated seemingly will be MORE dated then?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:23 AM UTC · #75818
is paying 40 LTC for a miner when the coins are only $50 each
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:24 AM UTC · #75820
and then by the time the item ships, the coins are $150 each, and you ended up paying 3X what its worth
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:24 AM UTC · #75823
sorry man thats almost as bad as spending 5k
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:24 AM UTC · #75824
buying a 3K miner...and having the price of the coins shoot up 3X in value in 2 weeks
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:25 AM UTC · #75825
means you just paid 9K for a L3+
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:25 AM UTC · #75826
vs had you waited for 2 more weeks, and risked them being sold out.
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:25 AM UTC · #75827
i mean arguablly if the price of ltc moons you did spend 5k-infinite-k
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:26 AM UTC · #75828
so you can buy a new batch bitmain today for 1500 or 1700
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:26 AM UTC · #75829
but if the price of that coin goes up 3X in the next 2 months....
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:26 AM UTC · #75830
you ended up paying 3X more for it also
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:27 AM UTC · #75831
then you are good because you locked in?
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:28 AM UTC · #75832
if you got it today at 1500, price rises, then you are better off and if the price of BCH rises
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:29 AM UTC · #75833
i sure hope im not being hacked in the denver internation airport, you think my trezor nano is safe Apple XD?
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:38 AM UTC · #75836
Seems good, can upgrade to 1080s when i get rich
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:41 AM UTC · #75838
yeah not sure what cards for mining what alt coins these days
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:42 AM UTC · #75839
might as well go ether right now
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:42 AM UTC · #75840
or what the good priced ones are for the power, id deff grab 6 if the board can handle that many
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:42 AM UTC · #75841
hadnt crossed 1150 until last night
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:42 AM UTC · #75842
by the time the parts come in, ether could crash back to $300
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:42 AM UTC · #75844
I need to talk with Grease, his friend has one with 1 1060 and 2 1080s and is going $30-$75 a day seems too good to be true
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:43 AM UTC · #75845
well thats why i like this idea, its not JUST an ether rig, as i know you know =P
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:43 AM UTC · #75846
and hell if it crashes back to $300 itll bounce back one day i am sure of it
FastCashMining · Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:43 AM UTC · #75847
gotta prove all these folks wrong about crypto!
