@TCN : sorry i am unable to find a coin called coppercoin
greaseman316 · Sun Jan 07, 2018 04:52 PM UTC · #74378
Its a scrypt coin Apple but i do not see any issues with it.not sure what the problem may be
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:08 PM UTC · #74379
Dang, AppleMiner... do you ever sleep? I know, "you will have time when you die"
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:10 PM UTC · #74380
where are the current profitability stats on the main page? Trying understand the (1 MH/s expected payouts).
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:11 PM UTC · #74382
not sure how the math works
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:17 PM UTC · #74385
per Mh per day . / . per miner?
greaseman316 · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:18 PM UTC · #74386
ya that will get you pretty close
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:18 PM UTC · #74389
so my L3+ @500Mh yields 3.61 x 30?
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:19 PM UTC · #74391
3 cents and .73 of a 4th cent
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:19 PM UTC · #74393
but again, its the average of all the money paid out to all the scrypt miners, regardless of what coins they picked
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:20 PM UTC · #74394
so...if you and I had the same machines, doing the same work...and finding the same number of blocks and shares
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:20 PM UTC · #74395
dang, still can’t do the math
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:20 PM UTC · #74396
and I picked LTC and you picked BTC
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:20 PM UTC · #74397
and my coin went down..I might only make 3 cents
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:20 PM UTC · #74399
and if you picked BTC and it went up...you made 4 cents that day X 500
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:21 PM UTC · #74401
but when you average them...we both made...on the pool 3.5 cents
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:21 PM UTC · #74403
so that 1MH is the average of all that was paid out, regaurd less of if the coin value went up or down during the day it was paid out
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:21 PM UTC · #74404
so its not a very good data metric to base...really anything on
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:22 PM UTC · #74406
which is why we been after them to change it to something more meaningful

@AppleMiner : </strong> have you compared PH to ViaBT to Litecoinpool?
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:26 PM UTC · #74410
I’m currently running tests against the top 3 (top 3 in my mind)
AppleMiner · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:27 PM UTC · #74413
what all do they pay out in?
mining4fun · Sun Jan 07, 2018 05:28 PM UTC · #74414
So far the best dashboard is PH, although as a Data Visualization and UX designer, I can’t praise the overall design.

Sup you two. Yesterday was pretty good here at PH.

personally i found that if i find the most obscure pool that pays me with very few peeps mining i can throw my rigs at a coin and have been doing 3 to 4 times better than all the pools. i am not solong but since i am only one mining that pools coin i pretty much am. and for 0% or .25% fees its freaking great
