1099 and I knew i was going..not sure why....so have like 4,000 plus Verge on a paper wallet and it is
Searing · Wed Jan 03, 2018 06:22 PM UTC · #72705
tanking...oh well....just thought it was funny as soon as I mine it down from 25c to 14c now i think
Searing · Wed Jan 03, 2018 06:22 PM UTC · #72706
how I wrap up my ph mining..have fun good luck and pray to the asic gods for 1,000 ltc!
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 06:22 PM UTC · #72708
yeah i wasnt gonna jump on the verge hype
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 06:23 PM UTC · #72709
i figured it was just a one off
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 06:55 PM UTC · #72710
if bunnycoin can stay up for an hour or so I might have a pretty decent day.
CCToro · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:06 PM UTC · #72711
Its the same block over and ovet again
CCToro · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:06 PM UTC · #72712
They’re all dropping off
CCToro · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:08 PM UTC · #72713
Was wondering why bun went from 0.30 payout to 37.00. Haha
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:17 PM UTC · #72714
nice, when bunny coin went into error I lost all the miners to the site and now locked on backup pools for the next...20-30 mins
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:17 PM UTC · #72715
hopefully chris caught it and can write code to catch that condition from happening again
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:18 PM UTC · #72716
bounce it into error mode sooner if its repeating
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:21 PM UTC · #72717
its like the BCC fork error all over
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:23 PM UTC · #72718
so if you are finding the same block each time...shouldnt the math to solve it once been enough to keep solving for that same block each and every time?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:23 PM UTC · #72719
steve...stop the bunny coin
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:24 PM UTC · #72720
its BCC 2.0, repeating same block over...and over...and over
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 07:24 PM UTC · #72721
you cant payout 100X for the same reward.

Bitcoin Gold coming soon! Helotours · Wed Jan 03, 2018 08:18 PM UTC · #72724
That’s why they call it the "bunny" coin. Lol.
nacos · Wed Jan 03, 2018 08:32 PM UTC · #72726
@ AppleMiner What you think about Bunny PPS ?
CCToro · Wed Jan 03, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #72727
Is no one monitoring this? Bunny has fucked up for an hour now
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 08:58 PM UTC · #72728
i sent emails out to steve and chris
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #72730
Hmmm. The fees included in the bunny block that repeated are very high... I wonder if someone is purposely exploiting this known issue and sending blocks with high fees so that they can mine them repeatedly on here...
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #72731
its all the same block found over and over
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #72732
so its orphaned each time its found
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #72733
the pool is on a differnet fork, same issue BCC had when it got all hacked up
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:03 PM UTC · #72734
It’s strange. The fees and difficulty are not constant even though it says its the same block.
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:06 PM UTC · #72735
I hope there’s not a claw back. I was in the middle of trying to do a test.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:06 PM UTC · #72736
sure there will be, just like on BCC
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #72737
they cant afford to pay 1000 times on the same block they only found 1 time
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #72738
Yeah probably. I guess the test is meaningless anyways. It’s not realistic data.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:07 PM UTC · #72739
and im sure al lthe nicehash renters ill cry
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:08 PM UTC · #72740
i d would say not on a coin that is obviously in error
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:08 PM UTC · #72741
I thought they were doing a release to fix this yesterday...
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:08 PM UTC · #72742
how that affects the rest of the pool...not sure.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:09 PM UTC · #72743
i was noticing on the live found blokc feeds, like bunnycoin would be found 3 or 4 times on the chart...same explorer each time
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:09 PM UTC · #72744
but the coin info wasnt updating...still showed 40 secs since last found
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:09 PM UTC · #72745
like the coin was getting real info from its source but the pool was disconnected from it or something weird
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:10 PM UTC · #72746
I wonder if it’s only this coin, or if it could happen on others in the right circumstance
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:10 PM UTC · #72747
Or the blocks aren’t being submitted to the daemon
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #72749
id say there was a fork of the coin, and the pool is prolly submitting to the unofficial fork chain
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #72750
but might be getting real info from the good chain
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:11 PM UTC · #72751
But, wouldn’t the block number still progress in that circumstance?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:12 PM UTC · #72752
hence why it says block found...every 40 secs, and the pool is finding 3 or 4 during that same time frame?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:12 PM UTC · #72753
the coin data is showing the real blocks fgound, the pool is submitting to the wrong chain so it keeps submitting the same, non incremented explorer block over and over?
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:13 PM UTC · #72754
Hmmm, if there was a fork and it’s getting the good info, but submitting to the bad chain, why doesn’t the daemon return an error? Very strange.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:15 PM UTC · #72755
it cant be solo miners, with all the orphans they wont actually get the coins
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:16 PM UTC · #72757
Seems like there has to be a daemon bug for this to happen. I wasn’t online when the BCC fork was happening. Did it look same where it had the same block number?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:16 PM UTC · #72758
me either was at like 4 am by the time i got on it was already shitcanned
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:17 PM UTC · #72759
i remember seeing at 4 am I had more than the whole previous day or 2 already in just 4 hours
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:17 PM UTC · #72761
didnt on the verge day either, figured id wait and see if that one was error also
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:18 PM UTC · #72762
Nice that that one turned out to be real.
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:20 PM UTC · #72764
So, no one has a way to get in contact with the brothers and let them know that the pool is malfunctioning?
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:20 PM UTC · #72765
Bunny coin is selected by the pool so this is going to have a big effect
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:21 PM UTC · #72767
and I sent emails to both of them
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:21 PM UTC · #72769
Ok cool. Glad they were informed.
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:22 PM UTC · #72770
when 1099s went into effect I had to move my miners off, so i dont even have a test rig here now.
bwicked · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:22 PM UTC · #72771
Hello folks, how can I reset my 2FA if now have a new phone, and my old phone won’t even power on?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:22 PM UTC · #72772
@bwicked : what 2FA did you use?
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:22 PM UTC · #72773
Still haven’t figured out what i’m going to do about the 1099 thing
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:23 PM UTC · #72775
I think authenticy will re-upload your accounts once you log in
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:23 PM UTC · #72776
bwicked wrote: Google Authenticator did you print out the QR codes when you were setting up the phone?
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:26 PM UTC · #72779
Make a new account and wait for the payout from the old one?
bwicked · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:26 PM UTC · #72780
hmmm ... ok .. makes sense ...
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:26 PM UTC · #72781
if you are going to use 2FA
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:27 PM UTC · #72782
you need to print out a hard copy or save a screeenshot or take a pic of that QC code square
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:27 PM UTC · #72783
and store it in a firebox or safety deposit box at a bank
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:27 PM UTC · #72784
other choice I think is use tha tauthentiy papp
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:27 PM UTC · #72785
i think you log in with a username and password and it saves it out to an account
bwicked · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:27 PM UTC · #72786
that possibility of having a broken phone didn’t even cross my mind. but yes, all makes sense
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:28 PM UTC · #72787
if you lose the device, DL on a new one, log in and in a day have all your 2FA codes up and working again
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:28 PM UTC · #72789
careful you dont cut yourself...off
bwicked · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:28 PM UTC · #72791
that was my understanding
bwicked · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:29 PM UTC · #72792
however, when I logged into my Google account via authenticator, none of my other accounts showed up
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:31 PM UTC · #72793
It would be nice if there was a way to use a hardware key as 2FA, then there is only one set of recovery info for all accounts
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:31 PM UTC · #72794
@bwicked : not the case with google authenticator...is with the authenitcy app
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:32 PM UTC · #72795
there is a whole other app, not from google that also does 2FA and is what is recommended by the pool owners for 2FA access.
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:33 PM UTC · #72797
$100000/mo but no custom domain?
AppleMiner · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:34 PM UTC · #72799
and betting only takes BTC payments for 10K L3+ march batch.
gestalt · Wed Jan 03, 2018 09:37 PM UTC · #72800
Not looking forward to the claw back. Oh well, guess I better go try to get something useful done today. Have a good one!
suhalleyiv · Wed Jan 03, 2018 10:31 PM UTC · #72802
If I am mining a low difficulty coin (ex NYC coin) solo. Will having a dynamic difficulty affect my finding blocks?
