L3+s going on ebay for 3200 with powers, may need to drop your prices a bit after the market crash.
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 06:36 PM UTC · #79281
linxcoin stuck at the top, and keeps putting miners into error modes.
travelinmusic · Tue Jan 23, 2018 07:39 PM UTC · #79283
Thats okay, I will plug them in otherwise. The ebay L3s I noticed are either only one, suspicious, overclocked, zero feedback etc. But sure you can probably find one there. Go for it!
travelinmusic · Tue Jan 23, 2018 07:40 PM UTC · #79284
Over $3500 that start to seem legit and $3750 there is a selection.
travelinmusic · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:06 PM UTC · #79285
looks like a couple new listings poped up at $3200... I am always suspicious of listings that only use the factory photo. But your right, there is a few more than yesterday. That one at $3199. with the l3 teetering on top of a power supply near the hot ceiling has been listed for weeks with several price drops. I want to tell him to use a better photo but ehh.

siacoin diff is going up like crazy
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:43 PM UTC · #79288
@deathlessdd : you expected something different? Diff up, and price down by half?
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:44 PM UTC · #79289
Nah its exacly what I expected
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:44 PM UTC · #79290
only hope on those was to get in during the first 5 days, recap the ROI and then not care.
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:47 PM UTC · #79291
You should beable to still hopefully it doesnt sky rocket this week when everyone get there A3s
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:47 PM UTC · #79292
I dunno how many they sold either
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:48 PM UTC · #79294
and 700 was needed to double difficulty?
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:49 PM UTC · #79295
so X 30 times difficulty is what im guessing
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:49 PM UTC · #79296
so that 500 a day is going to 10-15 next week
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:49 PM UTC · #79298
gratz on your new D3/L3 purchase.
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:50 PM UTC · #79300
would love if siacoin came up on here to mine and pick payouts we want
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:50 PM UTC · #79304
which, seeing as they use more wattage than a D3 isnt really surprsiing either
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:51 PM UTC · #79305
pretty sure its just a D3 remake
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:51 PM UTC · #79306
uses 10% more power than the D3 doesnt it?
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:51 PM UTC · #79308
when i saw the numbers I didnt even like/trust the apw3 to run mine
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:51 PM UTC · #79309
really, the specs said 1285 + - 5%
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:51 PM UTC · #79310
well the apw3++ can run 1600watts
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79311
sure its not closer to 1300?
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79313
on 110 the apw3 only hits 1200
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79314
well I dont have a watt meter that works on 240 atm
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79315
so if the a3 needs 1285 watts....
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79316
need to get one of the ones with the prongs
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:52 PM UTC · #79317
you can put the wires in between to get readings from
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:53 PM UTC · #79321
i read the amp flow and then put in the 220V and convert it back to wattage
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #79325
do a google search for CLAMP METER
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #79326
i just installed my 240v plugs too
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #79327
you will see what I am talking about
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:54 PM UTC · #79328
well i bought a clamp meter doesnt work how i wanted
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:55 PM UTC · #79329
those work great cuase if you can get a wire in between the prongs you can get a reading
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:55 PM UTC · #79332
and put the prongs on either side of the wire coming into the breaker box ont he 220 lines
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #79333
that you had run out to your 240V plugs
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #79336
i dont think it will read under 60
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:56 PM UTC · #79337
oh, so its a accuracy issue
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:57 PM UTC · #79338
mine gives me 1 decimal readings from 000 - whatever
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:58 PM UTC · #79339
if the reading is correct, and its right on 60....
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:58 PM UTC · #79340
on a 93% effecinat power supply, that would be close or around 1230 watts
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:58 PM UTC · #79341
which as long as your apw3 is plugged into 220 you should be fine
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #79342
You know what I didnt do is install a 30amp plug
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #79343
but running it on 110...thats pulling 1230 on a power only rated for 1200 on 110
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #79345
Wanted to get ready for the miners
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 08:59 PM UTC · #79346
my electrician would only run wires rated to carey as many amps as the sockets would allow
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:00 PM UTC · #79347
bastage did everything up to code
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:00 PM UTC · #79349
the bending of wire, the stapling down of wires
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:00 PM UTC · #79351
putting them throuogh the joist boards not just over them like I would have
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:00 PM UTC · #79354
but thats why I paid him, he knows his stuff
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:01 PM UTC · #79355
just killed my arm pulling the 10gage wire though
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:01 PM UTC · #79356
and while I might not think twice ti play with some 110 lines
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:01 PM UTC · #79358
I know my limits, and no sense burning down a building on 220, I called a pro
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #79360
took me about 5 hours to run the wires
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #79361
i split the 220 lines into 7 dirr circuit runs
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #79362
cause I re drilled though every joist
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:02 PM UTC · #79363
luckily we only had to run 4 joists from panel to miner location
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:03 PM UTC · #79365
so didnt have to pull as much wires either
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:04 PM UTC · #79369
I can always upgrade it to 30amp later if i wanted too
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:04 PM UTC · #79370
and the cost of that stupid yellow wire
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:04 PM UTC · #79374
i was like...cant we just run 5 runs of this...No its not rated high enough...yeah but its 4 times cheaper!
AppleMiner · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:05 PM UTC · #79375
im trying to save money here....how much to rebuild your house....OK 350 for 75M it is!
deathlessdd · Tue Jan 23, 2018 09:05 PM UTC · #79378
But i dont have as many miners as you
