You have take the faulty hashboard out of the machine, send it to bitmain and then you get a replacement board in return (not necessarily the one you sent).
fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:42 PM UTC · #45244
Well that sounds alright mck. can you still run the machine with 3 boards while you wait fro replacement board?
mck · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:44 PM UTC · #45245
No problem, hashrate is reduced from 504MH/s to about 378MH/s but also the power usage goes down from 800W to 620W.
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:46 PM UTC · #45247
so while waiting you can send 1 in to get fixed and run the rest
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:47 PM UTC · #45248
I got 2 extra fans, L3 IO board and L3 net board
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:47 PM UTC · #45249
going to split off the boards from the units 1 per day and run them seperate to get the max speeds they can go at before tossing HW errors all over
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:48 PM UTC · #45250
and then mix and match hashboards across units to get ones that can all be clocked tot he highest settings together
mck · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:57 PM UTC · #45251
That’s nice, creating the optimal L3+++.
fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:57 PM UTC · #45252
Im running at 425m for some time now with min. HW errors(one board specific) I was at 450 but was getting alot of HW errors on the one board. My chip temp never goes above 59. Getting cold here so the antminer is heating my garage for me.

AppleMiner wrote: I got 2 extra fans, L3 IO board and L3 net board The IO boards is the "control board" on top, right? What’s the net board?
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:00 PM UTC · #45254
the IO board on top, also has a ethernet board plugged into that
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:01 PM UTC · #45255
the L3, if you remove the ethernet cord, is 2 small latches on the side, press in and the whole board slides out
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:01 PM UTC · #45256
Hi all, I am trying to login to my account on the main site but it does not seem to be working, can anyone help?
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:01 PM UTC · #45257
but its 2 boards, the IO board that goes fromt he white cords to the hashboards and then another ethernet board sit inside that one
mck · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:05 PM UTC · #45259
OK, I see, never took the control board out. Only interchanging the hashboards to see if one of the slots has better cooling. :-s
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:06 PM UTC · #45260
yeah after pay 2500 I wanted to open it like a christmas present and get aquainted with it
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:09 PM UTC · #45261
I can’t login my prohashing account and I am using my right details.
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:09 PM UTC · #45262
did you try caps on and off?
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:09 PM UTC · #45263
if have numbers uysing the top keyboard and not the side 101 panel
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:10 PM UTC · #45265
yes I have tried everything I can think of. I was going to just setup a new other account but reg is disabled for that so I am stuck at the moment.
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:10 PM UTC · #45267
did you set a password recovery email?
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:14 PM UTC · #45268
I don’t have Tor and I don’t think I did.
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:15 PM UTC · #45269
if you dont have it turned off, people can use TOR to remote in over and over and try passwords on your acocunts
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:15 PM UTC · #45270
and you never used that password on any other sites ever before?
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:16 PM UTC · #45271
No I have not. I use different passwords for every website.
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:17 PM UTC · #45272
if you setup an email for password recovery can try that
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:17 PM UTC · #45273
but if didnt set one up not much they can do
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #45274
they arent touching locked accounts since they made ways to recover them yourself.
CaptChadd · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #45275
That is just great
So that is it now? I can never use ProHashing?
ZiGen · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:34 PM UTC · #45276
Contact the bro’s ...they can do everything with their system ...
ZiGen · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:48 PM UTC · #45277
WTF is GiantBirdCoin ? ... What about GiantFARTCoin ...or WetFARTCoin ...
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:49 PM UTC · #45278
Capt they will open the registration in the future, but knowing your password isnt something they should have to be tasked with
confusedjtag · Sat Nov 04, 2017 11:48 PM UTC · #45282
thanks apple for saying nice hash pool is better when its not thanks
fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 11:59 PM UTC · #45283
lol confusedjtag. take the advise of others with a grain of salt.
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 12:21 AM UTC · #45284
depends how you checked I guess confused.

there is no connection limit right now
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 01:35 AM UTC · #45287
im not getting an average hash rate reading like I used to. keeps saying not enough shares.
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 01:36 AM UTC · #45288
has it been over 2 hours since the miners connected?
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 01:49 AM UTC · #45289
no i got impatient and pulled out
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 01:58 AM UTC · #45291
they make a pill for that now you know.
Carson18 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 02:26 AM UTC · #45292
@AppleMiner : </strong> are you getting over .3 ltc per machine ?
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 02:55 AM UTC · #45294
lol appleminer. Thats hilarious.
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 02:58 AM UTC · #45295
check out the reading i just got Scrypt: 478.23¢ · 0.00065111BTC
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:06 AM UTC · #45297
which site, how long, how many?
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:10 AM UTC · #45298
im gettign a hash rate reading of 785 now on bitconnect. how is that possible? false reading?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:35 AM UTC · #45299
its all based on how many valid shares you send in per 2 hours
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:35 AM UTC · #45300
if you send in jack crap you have 0 hashrate
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:35 AM UTC · #45301
if you send in 2X more than you are supposed to then the hashrate is 2X higher
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:36 AM UTC · #45302
had to move PC over to new motherboard afk to update drivers
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 05, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #45303
im not diggin prohash again. effeciency is down and stale shares again. im out!

AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:11 AM UTC · #45317
having more than 3 units i was able to OC them til I got a bad HW board on a unit
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:11 AM UTC · #45318
like i moved them all up to 425
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #45319
and each 1 of 4 units had 1 board that started showing HW errors at 425
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #45320
so i pulled all 4 of those, put them in 1 unit and downed that one to 406
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:12 AM UTC · #45321
bumped the other clean ones up to 437
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:13 AM UTC · #45323
hey guys, I didn’t get a payout for two days on a Shitcoin ARC
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:13 AM UTC · #45324
if you only have 1 miner you are pretty much set soon as the OC hits HW errors
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:13 AM UTC · #45325
if you have 3 or more units can mix and match to get GOOD ones and put all the bad eggs in 1 basket so they dont deter the rest of them.
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:14 AM UTC · #45326
Do they hold payouts sometimes for coins like ARC?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:14 AM UTC · #45327
did you make it past threshold?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:14 AM UTC · #45328
is that coins network maybe down for maintence or offline?
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:15 AM UTC · #45329
Collecting up some ARC to set up a masternode...Yes well past the threshold, payout was supposed to be over 125 ARC
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:15 AM UTC · #45330
Perhaps ARC blockchain is down, I’ll check an explorer

I’m running 3 D3s for heat in cold upstate NY lol
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #45332
if it was free electricy id run D3s
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:16 AM UTC · #45333
otherwise, almost not worth it profit wise
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:17 AM UTC · #45334
Not free electric, but If I have to pay for heat, why not right. Wish I could trade them 2 for 1 for scrypt miners
mcdavi02 · Sun Nov 05, 2017 05:18 AM UTC · #45335
