confusedjtag · Fri Nov 03, 2017 02:40 PM UTC · #45145

Hopefully we may make 0.332 ltc/L3+

My friend bought 100 D3’s .... I hope he is not on suicide watch....
Jakeg5280 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #45150
yeah that price really took a dive... wasnt it like .011 just yesterday? now its .004? wow, glad i didnt jump on that bandwagon...
3Moose · Fri Nov 03, 2017 05:59 PM UTC · #45151
The take away is to buy machines that don’t depend on single coins for profitablity. Maybe you can make an exception for BTC, but in general, the reason why scrypt have done so well is because there are so many coins. X11 (99%) is just Dash.
MrHollowPoints · Fri Nov 03, 2017 06:54 PM UTC · #45152
You guys gonna move BTC out of NH prior to the fork and then move back in or?
MrHollowPoints · Fri Nov 03, 2017 06:55 PM UTC · #45153
I don’t think NH is going to give segwit2x coins, just like those greedy bastards didn’t give bitcoin gold
Skarda · Fri Nov 03, 2017 07:40 PM UTC · #45154
I’m still trying to figure out NH. I moved 12 L3s and 8 S9s (total20 miners) to nh yesterday for the first time. But my workers almost never says 20 its usually between 15 and 18. and out of those, some are showing low to zero speed. Although a few will go to the backup pool. Whats the scoop on that reliability? Is it because no one is renting my hashes or what.
Skarda · Fri Nov 03, 2017 07:43 PM UTC · #45155
NH has no forum that I can find and they should
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 08:32 PM UTC · #45156
@Skarda, you’re freaking me out as I’m about to have 15 miners on NH
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 08:33 PM UTC · #45157
Does each of the miner’s status page, i.e., the webpage built in to each miner, showing that you are connected?
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 08:33 PM UTC · #45158
Also, can anyone tell me what 1 D3 is earning right now? My math says 10/day.. but I feel like thats too high
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:01 PM UTC · #45159
I have been averaging 24 a day at NH. So glad I swithed.
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:08 PM UTC · #45160
@jules9 I assume with an L3
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:15 PM UTC · #45161
yep slightly over clocked
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:16 PM UTC · #45164
not 1 issue since I started
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #45167
What is your frequency set at?
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #45168
finally making consistent reutrns renting hash
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:18 PM UTC · #45170
I figure worst will be 18 to 20 a day and I’m fine with that
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #45171
here it was 15 to 16 and inconsistant
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #45172
How much power is used at 456?
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #45173
I guessing extra 10 amonth maybe
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #45174
I'm hashing here today at 11.5 GH
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #45176
I thought you were in NH
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #45178
i swapped over, saw what my brother got here yesterday
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #45179
since they put the limit on he's been getting good coin percent payourts the past 2 days so wanted some of that.
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #45180
and 11.5GH isnt bad for only having 21 machines on
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #45181
Listen if they get kinks worked out I will try again but NH is great so far
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #45182
only 21 machines thats funny
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #45183
Im goin to be 7I just styarted though. I’m in this for long haul
bellaminer · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:26 PM UTC · #45184
Any idea what 1 D3 is generating on avg right now?
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:26 PM UTC · #45185
I am just going to accumulate BTC and see where she goes. I dont need the money now
Jules9 · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:29 PM UTC · #45186
trying to get one of my friends who has big cash to get involved and ramp to 100 machine
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:37 PM UTC · #45188
so the other day, BTC was up 12% to 7K and LTC was down 7%...so even with the fork coming up, I flopped
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:38 PM UTC · #45189
now BTC is just about 1.5% and the LTC rose up 4.5%
AppleMiner · Fri Nov 03, 2017 09:39 PM UTC · #45190
waiting for LTC to jump up a bit more so I can flop it back the other way and piuck up a bit
memomix · Fri Nov 03, 2017 10:38 PM UTC · #45191
@bellaminer : 8$ in 24 hours..
Searing · Sat Nov 04, 2017 12:20 AM UTC · #45192
just added 3 L3+’s I paid the equiv with BTC rise of about ...well I figure they cost me 3.5k vs 1.7k paid lol vs keeping btc

@JiveTonto d=131072 or d=65536 for the L3+

Miner Advanced Configuration- 456freq will get me right around 598mhs.462freq will get me about 605mhs.My boards dont like 462freq so i turn them down just a tad
Jakeg5280 · Sat Nov 04, 2017 03:20 PM UTC · #45209
i have about .0004%-.0008% HW errors. if the number of hardware errors go up by a lot then turn it down till it seems the boards are erroring to much

Is it normal for the NH accepted speed to vary a lot like from full horse power to zero. It seems to be performing similar to PH, but I’m trying to understand it
Jakeg5280 · Sat Nov 04, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #45215
Yes its stable but not everyone will have the same experience. 456freq is as high as one of my boards will go until it errors every couple min. i have had my L3+ overclocked for 45 days now and its been getting me about 20% more
Jakeg5280 · Sat Nov 04, 2017 05:47 PM UTC · #45216
i heard some people can go above 462 without many errorrs.Seems all are different. i have 2 boards that dont error at all and 2 that do. its one of my boards in particular that starts messing up when clocked to high

fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 07:47 PM UTC · #45220
MrHollow, you really think China will warranty your miner. If anything goes wrong with it good luck ever getting bitmain to fix it under warranty. Even if you needed to buy a replacement hash board they wont sell it to you.
ZiGen · Sat Nov 04, 2017 07:50 PM UTC · #45221
Yep, the Bitmain warranty is worthless ...practically non-existing ...

memomix wrote: @Steve Sokolowski : Hey Steve, are you considering to develope about Prohashing Mobile App? Not right now. If we decide to expand, all resources are going to be spent on improving performance

I got an L3+ board replaced by Bitmain without any trouble and I’m about to send the next one to Hongkong? What’s your experience?
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Nov 04, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #45226
we think it will improve performance somewhat

fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 08:38 PM UTC · #45232
mck you were able to get a board replacement? you mean control board or hash board?
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Nov 04, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #45233
Chris removed the connection limit since it looks like the changes we made so far have been successful in providing better performance
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Nov 04, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #45234
we’ll see how many connections can be handled before we need to apply it again

I emailed bitmain re:replacement hashboard but they told they dont sell just the hashboard. Only machines. Im waiting on a response still from them as to what a person is to do then if hashboard fails?
mck · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:28 PM UTC · #45240
After receiving my L3+ in August, within two weeks one hashboard started giving a lot of HW errors, the L3+ began automatically restarting a lot and soon that hasboard only showed 11 of 72 ASICs. After contacting the helpdesk via
https://bitmainhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us , I got a reply to check all sort of things and finally I created a repair ticket, see
https://shop.bitmain.com/workOrderGuide.htm .
AppleMiner · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #45241
if you OC and connect to antpool, they record the stats of the INC miner and flag the SN of the machines that are OCing. If you never conenct to antpool while OCed, they don't know for sure.
fallingcurtain · Sat Nov 04, 2017 09:36 PM UTC · #45242
mck did you have to send your machine to bitmain or did they send you a replacement board to do yourself?
