You, yes you, yourself, have to specify a failover pool in your own miner

Pool Down 22/10/2017 Jakeg5280 · Sun Oct 22, 2017 06:50 PM UTC · #42594
they appear to have taken the day off
Jakeg5280 · Sun Oct 22, 2017 06:51 PM UTC · #42595
i actually moved my miners yesterday and cashed out because of low perfomance these last 4 days. i figured i would come back when things are sorted out a bit
Jakeg5280 · Sun Oct 22, 2017 06:52 PM UTC · #42596
seems they are down and out today with no response. interesting
coinzcoinzcoinz · Sun Oct 22, 2017 06:54 PM UTC · #42597
@gnode, yes I understand that and I already have but considering this is supposed to be most profitable pool for scrypt mining and im paying 5% fee, im not a happy customer. its not the most profitable is it if its down for5 hours a day
Ewil · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:12 PM UTC · #42599
I said something was wrong for about half this week, if not longer...
bodrumair · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:17 PM UTC · #42601
Need to switch another pool. Any idea which one is ok ?
Paul_sq · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:30 PM UTC · #42602
I’ve been on here 2 days and it’s my first attempt at mining, I think it’s going to be my last! The rumours were true the site can’t run 24hours without having a fit!! I’m off for now.
Paul_sq · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:35 PM UTC · #42603
Can somebody tell me how to cash out please?
supershui · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:37 PM UTC · #42604
Will we get credit for this outage?

supershui wrote: Will we get credit for this outage? No, as far as I know right now
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:38 PM UTC · #42606
the system was offline, not accepting invalid shares
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:39 PM UTC · #42607
when the system is offline, the policy is that you should set a backup pool
supershui · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:41 PM UTC · #42608
Great! Outage every day, covered by "policy".
Poolpuppy · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #42610
i think their % should be adjusted to account for interruptions to the pool thats the only fair way
Poolpuppy · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:58 PM UTC · #42611
if their pool fee was variable
gemohler · Sun Oct 22, 2017 07:58 PM UTC · #42612
why do people blame others for their own incometence
3Moose · Sun Oct 22, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #42614
supershui wrote: Great! Outage every day, covered by "policy". Dude - That is the "policy" everywhere on planet earth.
3Moose · Sun Oct 22, 2017 08:10 PM UTC · #42615
Folks, have a backup pool. No pool pays you if the pool is down. Why do think the L3+ give you 3 default pools? Hint - it’s not because bitmain loves you.

rteja99 · Mon Oct 23, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #42622
hey steve i have a bitconect block that i have found and it is showing mature as well but the usd is not shown in the wallet
Aura89 · Mon Oct 23, 2017 05:17 AM UTC · #42623
@rteja99 : are you solo? if not, that block gets shared as you are not solo mining.

Anyone mining with d3 - what are you making with one machine daily?
matt_s29 · Mon Oct 23, 2017 01:25 PM UTC · #42635
Is mining on prohashing if I got an l3+ still profitable today?
fallingcurtain · Mon Oct 23, 2017 02:24 PM UTC · #42636
Mining on prohash with L3+?? You should just buy the coins instead. Let china eat their overpriced machines.

Just realized that 2FA is b*llshit.
th3dark · Mon Oct 23, 2017 02:34 PM UTC · #42639
If someone takes a 2FA pin from you, even one time, through various ways, he can use it indefinitely to login. The previous 2FA keys are not invalidated.
th3dark · Mon Oct 23, 2017 02:34 PM UTC · #42640
You can use the same 2FA pin to relogin over and over
th3dark · Mon Oct 23, 2017 02:35 PM UTC · #42641
That’s not what 2FA is all about...

Hello, anyone here know the custom duty of an antminer in the US?
ZiGen · Mon Oct 23, 2017 07:17 PM UTC · #42651
I did NOT pay any on my S9s and L3+s - Fedex ...Do’t know about UPS ...
ZiGen · Mon Oct 23, 2017 07:19 PM UTC · #42652
I believe threshold is $2500 total...No duties if less than that ...all my miners have been shipped as singles ...
coinzcoinzcoinz · Mon Oct 23, 2017 07:39 PM UTC · #42653
1 x L3+ making $16 a day, is that normal or too low. 100% EF
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #42654
i got a really fast model d3
Maxiimos · Mon Oct 23, 2017 08:47 PM UTC · #42659
I’m at $11.80 for 1 L3+ today
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:16 PM UTC · #42661
Same here. Almost done with the day and I am at $11.00 for one L3+
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:16 PM UTC · #42665
almost done with the day? we still have 7 hours to go almost
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #42667
ive got 3 miners in my living room
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #42668
as long as you are getting credit for all 19
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #42669
and the neighbour complained
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #42670
he says its just above reasonable
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:18 PM UTC · #42671
vent them outside better, and turn the fans down?
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #42672
can you do that without over heating?
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #42673
depends what your cooling is, the temp of the air passing through the intake, what percent you dial back the fans
Poolpuppy · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #42676
doesnt have the fan speed customised
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #42677
sure there are some more hours... let’s see.. Maybe will reqh about $15 the most. Still far away from what one miner was getting a week ago
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #42678
prices are down 15% over last week
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #42679
bitGRID, how many coins did you get each day last week
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #42680
and how many are you getting now
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #42681
never mind how much the prices of them went up or down
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #42682
on average LTC 0,35 per miner
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #42683
both this week and last week?
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #42684
or are you actually making less coins now?
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #42685
no, those are numbers for the period between 8 - 15 October
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #42686
yes, I am making less coins as well. not only $
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #42687
I know it also depens on the cost on the market
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #42688
I think bitmain turned on their november batch for some testing before they sent them out, every 2 weeks there seems to be another drop
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:28 PM UTC · #42689
well, I can imagine they make some LTC as well from the equipment they manufacture. But the thing is that I am currently making more on Nicehash, which was not the case before.
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:29 PM UTC · #42692
so you have 1 miner here and 1 there and both operate at the same hashing and NH pays better?
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #42693
yes. I’ve been experimenting as the profit here dropped.
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #42694
so you have at least 2 miners?
bitGRID · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:32 PM UTC · #42696
I am doing simultanious, not one day here, one day there
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:32 PM UTC · #42697
what was the breakdown for the past 2-3 days, like NM-PH, NH-PH, NH-PH
AppleMiner · Mon Oct 23, 2017 09:33 PM UTC · #42699
how far off was 1 from the other just curious
