Best place to move BTC or ETH to USD Fiat is Gemini (The Winkelvi) They have a great platform with just customers buys/sells with great volume and depth

Maxumark · · #40777

I have seen the spread be 1 cent much of the time. and their fee is .25% and if you are a trader doing volume trades and a market maker you can get portions of that refunded

Maxumark · · #40778

also they will do up to 30 ACH or Wire transfer per month for free

gestalt · · #40779

GDAX has free maker trades. They only have 3 coins to trade though.

ZiGen · · #40780

Coinbase is a RETAIL buy/sell with high spreads and fees ...GDAX is their EXCHANGE with 0.26% fee ...so I trade to/from fiat $$$ to /from coins and move fiat $$$ in or out throught Coinbase bank services ...

ZiGen · · #40781

Try registering bank account with Kraken ...you will see... Good luck ;)

ronaldo1914 · · #40782

how do you know if the cloud mining site is a thief cryptocurrency

GregoryGHarding · · #40783

@ronaldo1914 :  nothing to do with prohashing, have no idea what your refering to

Poolpuppy · · #40784

hey guys i currently put my difficulty level at 16384 - is this okay to use with L3

Poolpuppy · · #40785

l3+

GregoryGHarding · · #40786

131072

GregoryGHarding · · #40787

16k is too low

Poolpuppy · · #40788

whats the best then???

Poolpuppy · · #40789

i’m making $40 a day with both

GregoryGHarding · · #40790

131072

Poolpuppy · · #40791

are you sure

Poolpuppy · · #40792

is it better to not put any difficulty?

GregoryGHarding · · #40793

im sure, if you dont set difficulty pool will bring your l3+ to 500K diff

Poolpuppy · · #40794

how do i know that 131072 is the best>

GregoryGHarding · · #40795

because ive been using multiple l3+’s for months

Poolpuppy · · #40796

will there be a real difference between me using 16384?

GregoryGHarding · · #40797

not profit wise, there will be less stress on your miner

Poolpuppy · · #40798

really? less electricity cost??

Poolpuppy · · #40799

will the fan speed reduce too?

GregoryGHarding · · #40800

no, your hw errors wont be as large

Poolpuppy · · #40801

is there anything that i can do to make my miners hash more? apart from overclocking?

ZiGen · · #40802

Hey Gregory ... How much in $ are you making per L3+ per day with diff=131072 ?

GregoryGHarding · · #40803

@Poolpuppy :  no, your miners clocks and temperature are static unless you overclock and you risk damaginf and shortening the miners life, its not worth an overclock to gain a few mh

GregoryGHarding · · #40804

@ZiGen :  cant say, im not currently mining here

Poolpuppy · · #40805

will reducing the difficulty reduce the l3+ noise?

ZiGen · · #40806

OK thanks

GregoryGHarding · · #40807

@Poolpuppy :  no

Jules9 · · #40808

all 4 of my miners kicked off again

Jules9 · · #40809

this is really unreal

Poolpuppy · · #40810

ok so youre suggestion for difficulty has stopped my miners working altogether

Poolpuppy · · #40811

is this something wrong with the pool?

Poolpuppy · · #40812

literally as i just set the difficulty to 131072 the miners went dead on here

Poolpuppy · · #40813

anyone having issues with the pool? pool down???

Forum notification · · #40814

has started a new topic: Pool Down - only 1/2 miners detected

Poolpuppy · · #40815

Masekela · · #40816

yes. i have the same problem

Poolpuppy · · #40817

seems that it doesnt recognise more than one

Goldberg57 · · #40818

100% efficiency

Goldberg57 · · #40819

permanent

Goldberg57 · · #40820

2xl3+ just

lmatrading · · #40821

I’m running 6x L3+ and making average 2 LTC per day -using pword a=scrypt. I feel I should be making more ?

Goldberg57 · · #40822

too less

Poolpuppy · · #40823

im still having problems here guys, anyone can attest to this?

dog1965 · · #40824

lmatrading wrote: I’m running 6x L3+ and making average 2 LTC per day -using pword a=scrypt. I feel I should be making more ?
use nicehash

dog1965 · · #40825

@Goldberg57 :  wwe goldberg ?

dog1965 · · #40826

lol

Goldberg57 · · #40827

Don´t use nicehash

Poolpuppy · · #40828

right now one of my miners says the connection at PH is dead

Poolpuppy · · #40829

only one has an alive connection

gnode · · #40830

I have an A2 terminator just tried to start mining, prohashing shows dead pool

gnode · · #40831

I’m using blank password

gnode · · #40832

It took a half hour to show pool as alive and for my miner to shift over from my backup pool

martian · · #40833

is there an admin onlineatm?

martian · · #40834

mine isnt connectingas wel been over a week

martian · · #40835

crappy kb sry

Jules9 · · #40836

Jules9 · · #40837

on and off for 4 days now

martian · · #40838

ok so its not me there is a system prob

martian · · #40839

soeone point an L3 at this for me http://prohashing.com:3333 User: martian

gnode · · #40840

@ martian are you using a blank password?

gnode · · #40841

@ martian use stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 instead

martian · · #40842

yes pass blank and tried stratum still says no servers found but will try again

martian · · #40843

same prob

martian · · #40844

No servers were found that could be used to get work from. Please check the details from the list below of the servers you have input Most likely you have input the wrong URL, forgotten to add a port, or have not set up workers

martian · · #40845

and i canuse any other pool no probs

gnode · · #40846

@ martian do you have a backup pool configured?

gnode · · #40847

My miner shows prohashing as dead but starts mining on my backup pool then switches over to prohashing after a half hour

mycide · · #40848

@gnode that is normal. that is ur rigs being queued up to PH, because its running at their capacity. same for everyone, just stop restarting and u wont be put in queue.

mycide · · #40849

not great time to be switching coins and stuff, put one setting and leave it, or live with sitting on backup pool after each restart.

gnode · · #40850

what do you mean by this, "just stop restarting and u wont be put in queue"

gnode · · #40851

do you mean stop then restart to get connected right away?

Forum notification · · #40852

has started a new topic: new guy trying out this mining thing

ZiGen · · #40853

gnode wrote: what do you mean by this, "just stop restarting and u wont be put in queue" ...STOP restarting YOUR MINER(S) ...and blah blah ...Capisco ?

gnode · · #40854

@ZiGen I am NOT continually restarting my miners. Comprende!

AppleMiner · · #40855

evening friends

AppleMiner · · #40856

THink he means just let it be.

AppleMiner · · #40857

patience patience you must learn patience. YEAH YEAH how long will THAT take?

gnode · · #40858

@AppleMiner yeah I get it now thanks for speaking the common man’s english LOL

AppleMiner · · #40859

it should connect in...eventually just have to give it the time, there is a line trying to get in the door, it wraps around the building.

AppleMiner · · #40860

mineing here is like going to see star wars in 77, lines around the buildings.

gnode · · #40861

I waited in that line!

AppleMiner · · #40862

I waited 3 days ago and havent restarted yet, uptime over 3 days now.

gnode · · #40863

I was up for 7 days but given the high reject rate I turned my miner off this morning just started back up.

AppleMiner · · #40864

gnose how many miners do you have?

AppleMiner · · #40865

sorry missed a key

martian · · #40866

I just left mine alone it’s 42 gridseed lol

martian · · #40867

They still haven’t connected when I left the house about 10 minutes so idk the wait time

gnode · · #40868

I have one A2 terminator

gnode · · #40869

@ martian it took me a half hour to connect

martian · · #40870

K good to know I’ll see if they have connected when I get home

martian · · #40871

Someone can always buy me an L3 for Christmas ;-)
