Maxiimos · · #36341

I’ve repeatedly had to login to the site today, much more than usual

tomos81 · · #36342

i am very unhappy with this page performance and disconnects + authorization failed errors, i am hiring righs for 24 hours (or more) with a fix price and now i am dependent to servers/miners uptime, and this is not good these days.. i am thinking to quit with mining

tomos81 · · #36343

*rigs

Maxiimos · · #36344

you dont own your rigs?

tomos81 · · #36345

@Maxiimos :  my wife hates noise in the flat :D

Maxiimos · · #36346

you’re hiring them for a premium?

tomos81 · · #36347

@Maxiimos :  i am simply hiring them + sometimes buying power from nicehash but there are some robots that overloading the price

halan · · #36348

Can not the site be landed?

Steve Sokolowski · · #36349

Chris restarted the site then

Steve Sokolowski · · #36350

the release is finished now

Maxiimos · · #36351

are there any plans to bring other algorithms like SHA256 to prohashing?

ruptor · · #36352

Hi Chris! Can you answer me pls? Is it possible in the BCC blockchain to find out who exactly found the block. Maybe worker name or pool name or something ?

GregoryGHarding · · #36353

@Maxiimos :  yes, its on the roadmap, but has been pushed back due to performance issues and reliability upgrades

ruptor · · #36354

oopss i mean Steve of ^_^ Im sorry: )

ruptor · · #36355

of course*

GregoryGHarding · · #36356

@ruptor :  on the homepage theres a history option for recent found blocks which lists usernames of finders. other than thats theres the explorer, not sure if that shows finders U/N’s

ruptor · · #36357

i know. but there only our users. i’m talking about absolutley ANY block

GregoryGHarding · · #36358

no

Steve Sokolowski · · #36359

ruptor wrote: Hi Chris! Can you answer me pls? Is it possible in the BCC blockchain to find out who exactly found the block. Maybe worker name or pool name or something ?
Not anymore. We removed that feature to improve performance.

it is in theory possible?

ruptor · · #36361

im not about your explorer. this information is generally contained in blockchain or not ?

ruptor · · #36362

if i go mine solo on one pool but i dont fully trust it... will i have chance to check MY blocks in blockchain which i found

Searing · · #36363

well are profits dorked for the last 2 days on PH and need ajustment or is it just that way with alts? (at 6500 plus x11 hash)

Searing · · #36364

likely it is just the way it is...but I have a damn hard time telling if it is just life or the value calc on PH is shot

Steve Sokolowski · · #36365

Yes, and we can query for it, but we removed it from the website

Searing · · #36366

yo steve....do profits need to be tweaked daily again? or is it just that crummy?

Guys I am trying to do solo mining with l3+, i put the string’c=dogecoin m=solo’ and in miner got message that pool is dead? any idea

Steve Sokolowski · · #36368

losos wrote: Guys I am trying to do solo mining with l3+, i put the string’c=dogecoin m=solo’ and in miner got message that pool is dead? any idea
dogecoin is a merge mined coin, so it’s mined automatically when you mine another coin

Steve Sokolowski · · #36369

the best choice is to select another coin, and you get dogecoins for free

Steve Sokolowski · · #36370

just set your payout proportions to dogecoins

losos · · #36371

example like?

losos · · #36372

thx for answer btw

losos · · #36373

i wanted to try solo mining with specific coin

SledgeHammer1 · · #36374

Hello, I am sorry to have to ask this question but I have looked all over and can not find the answer. I set up miners, I set for payout for Litecoin, I set custom threshold to 1.0 It is now at 1.26 and it has NOT sent a payout. Am I doing something wrong? thanks

GregoryGHarding · · #36375

@SledgeHammer1 :  payout is sent once every 24 hours

SledgeHammer1 · · #36376

I knew it was going to be something simple like that. Thanks for your help.

Aura89 · · #36377

What is the purpose of setting your minimum payouts at 1 litecoin (or any coin) vs the minimum that does not accrue additional fees? I ask because i have seen many people put their minimum to something like 1 rather then the default.

So you can see who find block, let say 184667? how can i check it by my self?

mycide · · #36386

what coin do i need to mine to also mine EMC2? i tried mining it directly here, but its not possible.

mickeekung · · #36387

Something wrong with the pool.

mickeekung · · #36388

Share stale raise and Last share processed time slightly increase.

mickeekung · · #36389

All users should keep watching your miners!!!

wyp1985 · · #36391

L3+ has been unable to link

wyp1985 · · #36392

The website can be opened. Why can’t the link go to the mine pool?

tomos81 · · #36394

Can some1 explain me this? : For example when i am mining some cheaper coin (Penguincoin/gcoin etc) solo, the miners are very often disconnected with an error: "Disconnected. Authorization failed." and i must wait 10-20 minutes to connect them again. Miners are using different names..

Some of these coins have special formats like "charity blocks" that the system doesn’t know how to deal with, so it has to disconnect until another pool finds the block we keep losing

i found a block outside the PH and still authorization failed :/

Hansheima · · #36399

Hello i’m an totally newbie. How long will it last til i see some earning. I’m mining 3 hours now. My hashrate is 1.8 Gh/s

bellaminer · · #36400

Depends what you are mining

bellaminer · · #36401

X11 or Scrypt

gestalt · · #36402

@Hansheima :  You should see your live balance increasing almost immediatly. If you click on the live balance you should see "Payout eligible" and "Payout threshold". You will not actually get a payout until the payout eligible exceeds the threshold.

may142012 · · #36403

want to buy 0.34 btc at the rate of $4000 with Paypal.

Hansheima · · #36404

i have a antminer u1. password is -p n=

gestalt · · #36405

I think that the antminer u1 is a SHA256 miner. Isn’t is? If so, it isn’t compatible with the site.

Hansheima · · #36406

oh shit, so i have to change the mining pool?

gestalt · · #36407

Yeah, I think so.

gestalt · · #36408

Only scrypt and x11 are currently supported here. No SHA256 yet.

Hansheima · · #36409

and i’m sitting here for hour and asking myself what i did wrong^^ Any suggetions for a good sha minig pool?

gestalt · · #36410

I don’t have an SHA256 miner, so I’m not 100% familiar with the pools. Nicehash is usually a decent option though.

tomos81 · · #36411

some1 has document / link how stratum server works? i mean protocol - requests etc.. i want to code new miner software

yea for you because you are using a bot to mine the highest paying coin.

dog1965 · · #36416

would be nice to solo mine multicoin.

dog1965 · · #36418

propbaly wont make crap.

dog1965 · · #36419

not unless you suck up 5 percent from every miner cobbected to the pool lol.

dog1965 · · #36420

connected pool

MrHollowPoints · · #36421

Yep

Armaniac · · #36422

What are you guys avg. with L3+ the last few days?

bellaminer · · #36423

I was on another pool and averaged ~19/day, here was slightly higher

Maxumark · · #36424

I rec between 19 and 20 per day the last 2 days on PH per L3+

What is the hashrate you are unleashing? Don’t you get disconnected because your hashrate is relatively large compared to the total network hashrate of these coins?

mck · · #36426

Can somebody recommend some steady coins for solo mining with one L3+, on average finding a few blocks in a few hours or so (not like LTC one block in three months :-)?

hashrate is 200-250MH/s scrypt

Can someone on here please explain how to get rid of this issue, "This miner attempted to authenticate with a duplicate worker name, so its n= password argument is being ignored." I have 2 L3+ and 3 D3’s running. I have changed the names, followed the directions for passwords, changed them and tried again, but it keeps coming up. Was fixed for a day and then came back. And am I getting the most out of the machines or is this causing payout or mining issues? Thanks a ton.

I overclocked mine to 605 MH/s @ 462 Mhz and I have been averaging $24 over the last few days

centar · · #36430

So can anyone explain what they did with the solo mining where you can’t connect to certain coins now

centar · · #36431

i heard someone say that they are limiting the number of users that can static mine certain coins or something like that?

hey, i’ve been mining here for a few days and so far it’s been great, but i had a question for everyone with an l3+... mine just randomly rebooted and some light googling told me it might have to do with firmware, anyone else experiencing this particular issue? thanks in advance!

it sounds like your Internet connection is unstable and the reconnects are causing duplicate miners

OdysseyMining · · #36441

Hiya I have selected PEPE coin for payouts. (it’s in the list) the explorer doesn’t work and assume it’s not minable on your site too? Please can you confirm if I will rec Payouts in PEPE coin ( MEME ) Thanks! Love the site btw! real information! keep up the good work!!
