No. I don’t know what d= should be set to for optimizing my Baikal Giant+ and my Bitmain L3+s
bkjwashere · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:48 PM UTC · #37450
should I set the d=65536 for the L3+s?
AppleMiner · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:49 PM UTC · #37451
ive heard some people say d=131074 on a L3+ miner works best, other said the pool picks the best. others have said the pool picking loses you profits. Wish I had a 2nd miner to compare some settings.
AppleMiner · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #37452
anyone ever see which pays better?
AppleMiner · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #37453
or after the D= changes with the 2048 issues?
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #37454
so assuming everthing is working, not seeing the d = will yeild varying hash rates.
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #37455
other reasons are latency issues
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #37456
i have seen the latency hurt my credited hash rate.
AppleMiner · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:51 PM UTC · #37457
i tried using the antpool the mier shipped with, it bing in china or whever my hash on it was horrible so I had to try other places
AppleMiner · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:52 PM UTC · #37458
guessing that was latency issue there
bkjwashere · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:52 PM UTC · #37459
I’ve seen error rates jump due to latency, but my error rates are pretty good, so I wasn’t thinking I had a latency issue. The average hashrate has been landing about where it should be, so I have not worried too much about the variation
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:53 PM UTC · #37460
I just ran a test to see if d=131072 was better than 263,404 ... the result was that 263k was basically 2x the value of the 131K in term of share value, BUT the rejected share went to ZERO.
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:53 PM UTC · #37461
that being said, d=131072 what people generally use.... as this will not overwhelm the system.
bkjwashere · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:54 PM UTC · #37462
any issues with overclocking?
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:55 PM UTC · #37465
it can increase the error rate on the L3+
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:55 PM UTC · #37466
but, the error rate increase is less than the overclock gain.
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:56 PM UTC · #37468
you will void the bitmain warr if you do.
bkjwashere · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:56 PM UTC · #37469
...primarily why I’m still debating
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:56 PM UTC · #37470
do you plan on keeping or selling your machine?
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:57 PM UTC · #37472
ok, then it might make sense to wait the 180 days for the warr to expire.
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 09:57 PM UTC · #37473
after that, its not covered anyway
bkjwashere · Sat Oct 07, 2017 10:00 PM UTC · #37474
then again, the $800 or so in value gained in 180 days might buy you a new machine by then
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 10:37 PM UTC · #37476
the s9 is still selling for more than that
3Moose · Sat Oct 07, 2017 10:37 PM UTC · #37477
if it dies along the way... you will be sad

Ethereum payout listed yesterday with transaction ID 0xCA94E5225fD588D0e2da7A08A3a621dC104714b7 did not show up & I cannot find it on:

@ CritterDog - Yeah something’s going on.. I didn’t receive yesterday’s payment either. That’s now 2 days in a row

I just checked wallets this morning and noticed the missing payents

no, just a different brand.. key’s are a little "off" from where I’m used too
dog1965 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #37511
I like blue key red is way to sensitive for me.
dog1965 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #37513
dont ever get a red key MECH a fly can land on a letter and it will type it lol.
dog1965 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #37514
its that sensitive when you press it.

Does anyone get the Average mining efficiency 100% on Prohashing?
Synapse · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #37517
I’m usually clocking in high 90’s.. sometimes 100%
dog1965 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:06 PM UTC · #37518
I am a gammer so I like MECH keyboards but red is just to sensitive. I forget the site they send you a test keypad with red, blue.brown etc etc.... to see which one you like better then a 20 percent discount when you buy there keyboard.
dog1965 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #37519

no if I was a flamer, you would be on FIRE right now, there is enough fuel for it to be a big blaze, now pipe down pip squeak.

I’m a bit out of touch, and didn’t know what a flamer was, urban dictionary describes it as:
Alex · Sun Oct 08, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #37532
Extremely flamboyant homosexual. Very bright clothing, loud speach, upbeat attitude, often noisy or annoying, intrusive. Very very gay...
Alex · Sun Oct 08, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #37533
I think there must be another definition lol
Jakeg5280 · Sun Oct 08, 2017 06:07 PM UTC · #37534
flaming the fires of discord lol. flamers just start fights or cause problems. kinda like a troll but not as funny
CritterDog · Sun Oct 08, 2017 07:00 PM UTC · #37535
