as long as the payments go to my wallet im cool
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #27500
until after it was activated
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27501
How do you install a new firmware, do the miners install automatically themselves?
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27502
lol, hashingpro just helped me do that yesterday, and no the l3 doesnt automatically update
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27503
no you DL it to a computer, connect the computer to the miner pooint the miner to the file and click apply
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #27505
Where do you get the latest firmware to download?
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #27506
still thinking of selling my l3
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #27508
depends half how much were you thinking to sell it for?
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27509
ya i just googled l3 firmware and selected the bitmain that popped up
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27511
dont put L3 firmware on the L3+
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27512
im in europe, theyre going for about 3000 euros on ebay
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27513
no telling what that might do
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27514
sorry yes, l3+ firmware sorry
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27515
once on their firmware page just click down the list to get to l3+
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27517
they dont make it like rocket surgery.
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27518
i think i would rather just buy 3 g’s worth of ltc or something
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #27520
depends how much you can get 1 way vs the other
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #27522
Buy and hold, you have wait for a very long time
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27523
people always look at it in dollar values, but i mostly look at it in satoshis
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27524
i look at it in number of tulips.
halfdime · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27525
i would have more satoshis right now if i just held the coins i used to buy my l3
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27527
Hey what is this about? X11: 1.26¢ · 0.00000349 BTC · 788.82 GH/s
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27529
same as the running live profts on the main page
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:49 AM UTC · #27532
if you go to the main page they have 1MH per day expected payments.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:50 AM UTC · #27533
for scrypt and if you use the dropdown X11
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:50 AM UTC · #27534
divide that day's number by 100, then multiply by your 1MH rate.
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:50 AM UTC · #27535
Are we using the global difficulty numbers to mine?
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:50 AM UTC · #27536
the bar with the live profits is whats above on the forums feed
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:51 AM UTC · #27537
workers, current price paid for mining per MH, and what the network work is on that type
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:52 AM UTC · #27538
so when the live feed above the chat bar says 0 workers or Na/N for GH...good bet the pool is down.
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:54 AM UTC · #27539
6500 workers, not much hash increase
may142012 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:54 AM UTC · #27540
We need more people more miners
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:54 AM UTC · #27541
either disconnects not subtracting right, or no one is being given full credit
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:55 AM UTC · #27542
we had 4K workers doing nearly 3TH
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 03:56 AM UTC · #27543
guess it only takes 100 workers if using X11 D3s or something

jayman88 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 06:17 AM UTC · #27548
some of my rigs are connecting some arent...the network seems really unstable these two days.
jayman88 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 06:45 AM UTC · #27550
are there any other reliable pools for scrypt?
mickeekung · Sun Sep 17, 2017 10:54 AM UTC · #27553
Yes PH is fine right now and Steve may wake up soon.
nextkoala · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #27554
What do you think is the "best" password argument for the L3+ ?
mickeekung · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:30 PM UTC · #27555
I think this may help you.

Hi, I have a mature block mined, but it still hasn’t credited, How long does this normally take?
tomos81 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:39 PM UTC · #27558
@bitgains : it takes until you press F5 and refresh the page
bitgains · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:40 PM UTC · #27559
I think it’s due to me solo mining
tomos81 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:41 PM UTC · #27560
@bitgains : if you solo mine and find "side" currency, you will have no profit from that.. only the main currency you will have credited
nextkoala · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:42 PM UTC · #27561
@mickeekung, thx. but what is the best static difficulty for the L3+?

Anyone running L3+ with password blank? How’s it working for you? I know it’s a crap shoot on the whole passsword and efficiency.
dardan · Sun Sep 17, 2017 04:11 PM UTC · #27576
@JustAnotherPLT U can use a blank password field, for me Im not messing with the difficulty right now cuz the pool is not stable and will leave till it gets there, you can change the diff and see for yourself which diff suits your miner, the 131k seems to be best for l3+. Take a few minutes and read the help page

Is the password right? n=1 a=x11 c=Dash m=solo
Jalapan · Sun Sep 17, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #27580
may why would you wanna solomine dash?`you earn 110$ per day atm for 1 D3 .. and 4 days to find a block with 1 d3

matrix98053 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #27584
HI everyone, i got a question. I see on the "Charts" page that there is Scrypt coins with about double the profitability, but my miner is mining Litecoin now, i saw it ming Bitconnectcoin and gamecredit etc, but i dont see it mining the high profit coins Prohash is listing on its website?
JustAnotherPLT · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:25 PM UTC · #27585
Running at 95% most of the day, any reason for that?

Does anyone use the API keys for 3rd party software? If so, which software?
mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:49 PM UTC · #27587
pool assigns workers over a wide variety of coins, depening on highest profitability. but pool cant put all workers on most profitable coin it would drop like a rock. all workers are assigned by the pool to do their share of the work, all profits is then divided after % of work done no matter what coin your actual machine is mining. someone correct me if im wrong.
mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:51 PM UTC · #27588
if ur not very lucky, this is the way to use ur machines. if ur a gmabler and dont care about roi or how much you make, sure go solo, if ur lucky u might get more profits this way, but its a pure gamble.
matrix98053 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #27589
Thanks mycide, it makes sense. Was just wondering why I didnt see those higer earning coins being mined. I must add, I have only been mining for 4 days now.
mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:54 PM UTC · #27590
ur new to this, i suggest you go with mining pps, dont solo mine.
mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:55 PM UTC · #27591
and take some time to read up on how it works, it aint easy if ur that new to understand it.
matrix98053 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:55 PM UTC · #27592
I will stick to the pps mining. Just wanted to make sure I am not missing something:)
matrix98053 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:56 PM UTC · #27593
I will do that, appreciate the help
mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:56 PM UTC · #27594

mycide · Sun Sep 17, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #27596
coinwarz.com is a good page to get an overview, it doesnt contain all coins but good to have bookmarked.
